Really liked the app before the last update as I could scan things in store and price check items. But now the scanner doesn't work at all and just says something went wrong each time I scan something. I have also tried on a different phone aswell and it's still an issue. The new app is practically useless now.
The app was pretty much slow before, but now with the latest update it always requires you to sign in, it is very very slow and the scanner does not work at all😔 it has become pretty much useless.... Please do something about it.
Unable to scan products at all, unlike before. App is useless in its current state. Have been able to finally register an account albeit before this was not required and after numerous uninstall and reinstalls of app but still unable to scan using an android mobile phone since they updated their app. Not fit for purpose 😕
After most recent update, the app is finally working with a completely new look. Beforehand it was absolute rubbish and wouldn't show anything at all! Couldn't sign in, couldn't sign up, couldn't skip!
What have you done to this app?! It no longer works! As others have said; if you skip registration, you are faced with a blank screen and if you do register, it fails at the store locator screen. Either way, it is utterly useless and not fit for purpose!
App just got a whole new lease of life after not working for a while and WoW what a transformation, it is absolutely brilliant, Stylish, Vibrant and bang on Trend. Well done app design team, top marks for pulling all the stops out on a full redesign.
It's nice to look at the stuff available in stores but seems to have a glitch, when scrolling through it jumps back to the top of the page which is really annoying. Only happened since the new update
B&M literally the worst app I've ever used. Just don't bother, you will end up deleting it. Since the last update the "in-store barcode checker" no longer works. You now have to register to use some of the functions, good luck with that. Can't get passed the verification stage. B&M I don't know why you even bother with this, better to just not have an app if it's just wriggled with bugs.
Upgrade fixed one set of problems & created another. Can now view products on the app, but since the upgrade, the scanner does not work at all so app is basically useless
Was great until the latest update. Un able to scroll though long lists of products without being taken back to the beginning which is very frustrating.
Not as good as it used to be. Tried multiple times to use the barcode scanner and cannot get it to work. Before it updated it was great !!!!!
New update on the app won't scan most barcodes. The majority of things I scanned in store had spinny circle for ages then said item cannot be found. Old version of the app was really good
Scanner has stopped working, uninstall the app and installed it and still no luck, contacted via email and still no one can fix the issue.
Keep searching through things them it pings me back to the beginning of the category I'm looking at. Deleted and downloaded again. Still didn't help. Great that it has the store checker.
Shocking. Doesn't scan since the update, just buffers and says something went wrong. It's ridiculously slow!
Doesn't load, scan doesn't work. App has barely any products on it. God knows what the developers have done to it but they've royally F'd it up
Appears to have a bug in the new update! I have always loved the B&M app to either browse and see new items or look up a specific product. However this version will not let me get past page 5/6 on registration, saying it cannot find any stores, even though I can count at least 6 local ones (nearest being in the next town.) If you press 'SKIP' everything is blank. Please please fix this bug!!... a loyal customer!
App used to be so-so, at least you could look up prices of items to compare. However, there appears to have been a change to the app so no you are required to sign up. If you click on "Skip", you can't access anything. If you try to sign up, it gets to step 5 then tells me it can't find any stores in my area - despite the fact that we have *2* in my town! So now, the app is completely useless.
Updated: completely useless app now, not showing any item or price after update, even can't login. old review: Easy to use and can scan barcode and check price too but the bad thing when you put something in your favourite list, it doesn't show there. Please sort this out. It was working perfectly and now I can't see my favourite items. Otherwise 5 star app
Items are not scanning in store. Keeps beeping and saying unable to scan, something went wrong
Used to be useful but, since the update, the stock check function is broken. "Something went wrong. Please try again" it says. Why would I? I'll stick to the website from now on.
Slow. The price checker never works on the items in the shop!. Barcode not found etc....
Good luck to you if you got this app working, it seems to have a huge glitch in it's software which is stopping me using it
Non functional after update. homepage, search function, category and scan function only provide a blank screen. App uninstall and reinstalled, unable to create account to due to App unable to find local store which is final step of sign up, and unable to complete to access. And if you skip this step you then have a app which only provides blank screens

Was a Great app but now has stopped working. The ability to price check items was a game changer as most stores are a little lacking in the price tickets on shelves but unfortunately this app has stopped working. It now means I go to other hardware stores to get items due to not being able to find out prices in store due to the issue of stores having no floor staff at the best of times. However when/if this app starts working again it's a must have app for any b&m customers
New updated app not working. Not working scan.
Update is very slow. So I've had the b&m app for sometime and used to use it regularly however I know It didn't have the entire amount of products as I'd seen many products in store that weren't online. No issues. However since the new app its very slow and clunky and takes forever and ever to load a page regardless of how fast my Internet is. I'm having to use the website which is just frustrating as I prefer the apps
