I paid for this app but now it has changed to a subscription service. Literally half way through a breastfeed (it won't even let me stop the timer which is running) the app told me I need to pay monthly to keep entering data! Edit: a reminder message towards the end of the trial period would be a good idea. I set this up on the day my child was born and must have misunderstood the message.
Edit to clarify, I bought the app for full access on both Android and iOS when my first child was born in 2020. When I added a profile for my newly born second child, I discovered I can't use it for them without the new subscription. They pulled a bait and switch on existing users that already paid for the app. Switched to Huckleberry.
Edit to update 1/8/22- looks like I will be deleting this app. As of today, I can no longer use it without paying $5/month subscription fee. No thanks! I would have been willing to pay for a second upgrade instead of a subscription (within reason), but that's not an option. I have used this app for many years, with several of my own children. I am also loving that I can connect it to our "Alexa" devices, and tell her to log a diaper or whatever. So convenient! Well worth the initial purchase.
Good app, bad service. I've had this app for 8+ years and used with my 2 kids. Now that I tried to set up and use for my new baby I'm supposed to pay a monthly subscription even though I paid for the app when I originally downloaded. Great way to screw over the customers that supported you from the beginning.
I'm a brand new mom and a professional Android developer, and this app is fantastic. It's super easy to log activity, widgets are great, you can start multiple timers and background the app with no issues. If I had one feature request, it would be for the timers to be visible in a persistent notification so I could see how long it has been running with my phone locked. Will be happily paying for the subscription. Thank you!
Overall, a good app. Wish it was smart enough to pause timers for mutually exclusive events like sleep and nursing... Also if you start a nursing session and have an alarm set for a nursing reminder, the app will still have the alarm go off while you have an active nursing session running :/ just a few querks, but overall super useful!
This app is SO convenient to keep up with all the details during the day and overnight. Especially helpful when there is more than one caregiver.
Gave this 5 stars with my first child. Now tried to start using it with my second and an app that I paid for is now a subscription? No thank you. Such a bummer. Guess we're changing to a new app.
Very clunky and not intuitive. I'm only using it because our sleep coach requires it.
This has potential but some bug or other periodically deletes a bunch of data which is really frustrating. Decided to leave after a month of using just because it was glitchy and its a lot of effort as a busy mum to log this stuff, I can't afford for it to go missing!
The app itself is good. Looks a bit aged in 2022 and requires a substantial monthly fee to be usable in practice. Value for money is not okay
Great app until it became a subscription. I would give this app 5 stars but I'm so disappointed that it is now a monthly subscription. I was absolutely okay with paying a flat fee for the first kid but now that we are on our second, a monthly fee is just unreasonable. The app is a wonderful tool for parents, but not at a monthly cost.
Saved our data for years, easy data entry I love the Alexa integration, and the charts make it easy to see what's up and tell doctors. I'm impressed that they still had our data from 7 years ago when we had our first child. The app just works.
I bought this app in 2020 for $5. They changed it so that it is now a subscription app, this wasting my money and now I have to transfer some data to a new, free app that doesn't try to rip me off for a previously purchased service!
Too expensive at 4.99 per month, as soon as I saw the price I uninstalled. On the play store it says 4.99-14.99 per item, whatever that means. But only after you install it and put your baby's info, then they tell you the true outrageous price. Maybe I'll pay that as a one time fee, but not as a monthly subscription. I'll look somewhere else or stick to paper and pencil... I was initially attracted to the ability to talk to Google Assistant but much to expensive for that..
Monthly fee = goodby. It was nice while it lasted. Even a $10 price for an unlocked version would be better than monthly fee garbage.
This app has a huge number of features and works well when you log events as they happen. But adding past events is totally broken, it is impossible for me to get a date range in the past that makes sense. I set a start time and it doesnt let me set and end time (you can try to enter one but it doesn't take). I then try to set a duration and it updates the end date to something nonsensical. Besides that one very frustrating bug, the app is a very handy parenting tool, esp syncing between devices
Since our baby was born this app has been used more than any other. We chose it for the ability to synchronise our records between both parents - and it's been a godsend. It's so versatile and customisable (and extra star for allowing me to change diaper to nappy) and the graphs and data export has been invaluable for discussions with doctors about our child's complex needs. The interface isn't the prettiest and took a bit of practice, but there's so much included I won't fault it. Thank you!
Really great app. Some of the UI decisions are a little odd, like the home button is sometimes on the left and sometimes on the right. But for the most part it has what we need and does the job well. The times on the homes screen widget updating very irregularly is massively frustrating. Please fix that. Sometimes it says my kid just had a bottle but it was actually 2 hours ago. Other times it says it's been hours since the last bottle but they actually just ate 30 mins ago.
I purchased the App almost 3 years ago for full access, went in recently to log some data, and out of nowhere there's a monthly subscription. WTH! I can understand for new customers, but if I already purchased it for all premium features, It should have remain the same or offer an upgrade. Unbelievably poor customer loyalty. I'll be moving on with another App. Shame on you!
