I havent tried this app yet, but people are saying 20 weeks gestation is too early to hear a heartbeat. When I was pregnant with my daughter, I heard her heartbeat at 8 weeks, and am currently 13 weeks pregnant tomorrow, and heard the heartbeat on an ultrasound at 9 weeks. Also, to the midwife, I see an OB/GYN, midwives aren't the only medical professionals with prenatal knowledge.
I'm having problems finding my own hb but its probably because my head set is right next to the mic in order to plug it in. Its also hard finding a quiet place due to living on a busy street. Id probably have better luck going to the bathroom and keep off the lights because that picks up big time. I found this app tho cause I heard They work and am worried I might be misscarrying again seeing I have had complications before in my first trimester and still waiting to see a doc which cant happen until I'm 12 weeks and that makes it scary not seeing anyone or anything sense the day of finding out at 5 weeks.
when the "heartbeat" keeps beating long after you pull it away from your stomach....kind of hard to believe that my baby's heartbeat. Even tested on my own heart, same thing happened. I tried multiple headphones. Sorry but I don't feel like this app is accurate.
Doesn't deserve even one star. Was apparently picking up a heartbeat when nowhere near my bump, but couldn't pick up the noise of my fingers clicking next to it. The makers of this app should be ashamed of themselves. Can easily result is some mothers having false hope and not getting medical attention when needed. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS APP.
Works on my Samsung Galaxy 9 to a degree ie. Can pick up my own heart beat and my 18 month daughters nothing from my wifes 18 week foetus after half hour trying. unfortunately the main reason for this app doesn't work. My wifes cheaper android phone a Stk gets nothing at all. Personally a disappointment. I'm leaving it for now in the hope that in later weeks it might actually work!
If I could give it no stars, I would. Adjusted all the settings and this couldn't even pick up my heartbeat. But apparently my bed has a heartbeat? Don't waste your time on this app.
I think it depends on the type of phone you have, but this app is pretty good. I can find the babys heartbeat about 50% of the time, which is more than I expected from a phone microphobe.
Easy to use. Only problem is headphone jack is now next to mic on most phones instead of being on opposite sides.
This app is not realistic..... One I'm not even pregnant..... And two I had it on my stomach it made static noises I had it in the air it had a heartbeat ...... What
downloaded this app so I could hear my baby's heartbeat and I keep adjusting the sittings and I can hear the heartbeat but my headphones keeps going fuzzy plus it keeps giving heartbeats in thin air what's going on
does not work. no matter where I put the phone the sounds are the same and if I stop and start again I have the same sounds at the same times even in different place like my leg or left on sofa.
i love this app ' it was very useful , i heard my my heartbeat first & then my baby heartbeat and it sounds wonderful i can truly say this app really work .....
couldn't hear anything on my baby which made me nervous but then when i tried my own heartbeat, i couldn't hear that either.
Haven't found baby's heart yet but I'm only 13 weeks. But I could hear my heart loud and clear, can't wait to hear the baby's.
Didn't work at all. Read through the "how to use" and troubleshooting info, no help.
I love it. I used it on my stomach when I was pregnant it came through clearly Everytime. I recommend this app it's a life saver
Rubbish app..this app has a recorded heartbeat installed on it. I heard my bed, the air and pillows heartbeat except mine.
Trash...such a irritating noise...if kept on floor also i could here d same voice... after reading comments I downloaded but however didn't work for me
makes you feel safe... you do hear a heart beat but it's not the baby ðŸ¤ðŸ˜« but over all its pretty cool!
Apparently the air has a heartbeat and so does my blanket. This app doesn't work.
I see a lot of bad reviews for this app and I don't think that's fair. First of all, it will only work with headphones that do not have a mic, and the room has to be quiet. But, it most definitely does work. I had to adjust the settings and make sure the ceiling fan was off, but it works. Started trying it at like 22 weeks, and nothing, but this week, at 25 weeks, I finally found baby's heart beat and can almost always find it now.
