this thing keeps disconnecting
Never have to
Only one suggestion, maybe for a paid or pro version, adding a beep noise or soft sound that emits from the child device on a pre-selected interval, of 2 minutes, 5, etc. Something to just ensure that the child device is, in real life, picking up sounds and sending them over wifi.
A well-designed app. Very easy to use - but you have to be OK with the fact that sometimes you lose connection, depending on the stability of your wifi. One request: would be great if the child device didn't vibrate when it loses connection. We have to leave it on a soft surface to avoid waking our daughter. Also would be good if the lost connection alert were more different to the 'baby is crying' alert. But overall very happy with this - nice not to have to carry a second bit of kit with me.
This has a very clean ui and is extremely easy to set up. But, it doesn't handle weak connections very well, and it sometimes is still running in the background after exiting the app. An optional audible warning for a lost connection would be useful, as would being able to run the 'parent' device with the screen off.
Doesn't work with multiple access points when you move your parent device
On the occasion that I could get the two devices to connect through this app, the connection never lasted more than a few seconds. No help or settings available to troubleshoot issues.
Quite easy to use, works as expected.
