I don't know who redesigned this app and the website, but they need to make it the way it was PRONTO. I used the website version to choose my daughter's name back in 2015, and it was a dream back then. This new version is unusable, especially compared to what it once was. Bring back the old format, and I'll re-download.
The app launches directly into a video ad now. I hit skip ad after the 5 second timer, but the ad won't close. Nothing is responsive except the ad call to action. Closing and reopening the app repeats the process.
Great app, not overrun by ads, has an enormous database for names, and a great system for sharing them with others
In a pretty productive evening I went and rated ~1000 girl names to come up with a shortlist. Then I realized I wasn't logged in, so I logged in. All my ratings are gone, and so is the list. I mean, the app is decent otherwise, but that seems like a pretty significant issue...
Great functional app with nice concept. Very easy to eliminate names that you dont like and shortlist the ones you like. The linked partner matching name is also great. The ads is annoying so I purchased the pro (small investment for baby name). However, one negative thing is the viewing name feature: it's very slow and doesnt have detailed information as other name app. Edit: the app stopped working for me. Stuck at blank white page even though I have the pro version. Need to reinstall the app
I bought the pro version of this app, and I am having several problems. Happy to improve my rating once issues are fixed. 1. Several commands in the app cause an error to appear telling me that there is a connection problem. It is NOT my internet. 2. I try to add a photo to my profile but it does not get updated. 3. My matches with my partner are not loading, forever waiting and nothing loads. 4. When I try to download an export of my name's list, the app crashes and exits.
Good selection love the interactive aspect Edit* paid for the premium version because it said it would unlock additional names. All it unlocked were names users added in themselves and now it won't even open the app. It just stays on the loading screen. I've tried to get back into it for 3 or 4 days now and it doesn't work. Not worth the money especially because there were several common names it never even listed.
GREAT APP, super intuitive and, if there is an issue, developer follows up straight away and constantly via email until it is sorted.

I'm having trouble with the pop up when going to Rank names section. The close (x) icon and the Okay button do nothing and it will not close. I am unable to use the rank feature. Back button on the actual phone non responsive too in this window. Other features function. Edit: had a response from Sandy, sent over phone details and Android version 5 days ago. Hopefully they are able to investigate soon! I have uninstalled the app and reinstalled. Cleared all app data too. Still got this issue :(
Love the app functionality, but I have a small Android phone (Unihertz jelly 2) and the long names are truncated instead of being displayed in a smaller font.
Pronounce name has not worked for me. The very first time downloading the app a few months ago it did. Now it just goes to a white page with nothing. 1) I already sent an email on this. No response. 2) I paid for Pro to skip the ads and videos to utilize pronounce. Now I feel like it was a huge waste.
Garbage. All of a sudden it won't show me any United States/English names. Even after I reset my list.
I can't figure out how to update my previous comment but I was able to get my issue resolved and received a message back even with the holidays so close, so I appreciate the customer service!
The pronunciations are just computer voice which is stupid. You make money on this spend some on voice actors to say the names. No it's not even a modern computer voice it's the old one and how do you account for the choice in nationality? Dumb app
Enjoyed the app up until a few days ago. It suddenly wouldn't load - just a white screen. I updated to the latest version, same problem. I cleared the cache, uninstalled, reinstalled. Still getting the same problem. Again. I have the latest version of the app and am still having the same problem - just a white screen when I try to open the app.
OK, so my partner downloaded this app and then invited me to sync it with her. Didn't sync straight away but did after finally finding the top right drop down and sync button, must pay for no adds as they are annoying. We have been on this app for ages now and it's so much fun. Hopefully will get a consensus on a name but we have time to nut it out. Need to make the instructions a little clearer but otherwise not a bad app
This is the one to get. Exactly how I would have designed it. Flexible, faceted searches, thoughtful features, intuitive and easy to use, yet complex in functionality, easy to customize, etc. Just awesome. Very well done!
Following the update this once very useful app has been completely destroyed. The "new names" list now only opens names as girls' names, even when tapping on a blue boy's name. The names I had liked have a 'dislike' icon next to them and vice versa. Finally - and crucially - there is no way to review names as before to like/dislike any new names and add to your list. I am so disappointed as this app used to be amazing.
Seems to be a bug not letting you link with partner, I've added email address multiple times and it just won't link, rending it pointless, great concept though :/
