Only works for 5 min. As soon as the baby begins to settle, it shuts off and is useless. There are different timer settings, but any time you set it to still switches off after 5min. Highly frustrating.
Please fix the bugs. The app works wonderfully aside from stopping after 3 minutes. No matter what I try (adjusting timer, turning off auto-volume adjustment). Works great to help my baby fall asleep but I hate having to restart it everytime he wakes.
Love the original shusher but wanted it to stay on all night so I bought this. It's definitely better but it turns off around midnight every night no matter what I set the timer to. The baby wakes up and I'll have to turn it back on. Once turned back on it stays on until I turn it off. Just wish it didn't turn off around midnight at all.
Works ok. Used it in 2018 and it was better. Now no point in a 12h timer when it randomly turns off to pop up an advert to buy the physical one. Super annoying as it turns off in the middle of the night. Resulting in waking of baby. Please fix and get rid of the silly advert.
It would be nice if there was more than 1 shushing option. I could live with just the one if it weren't for the fact that the timer does NOT work. The app just randomly stops whenever it wants which makes the app ineffective at keeping baby asleep. Not what I'd expect from a paid for app.
Seriously paid for nothing very frustrated when trying to put baby to sleep and keeps turning off after 2 minutes of use I put my phone on silent like it says to do in the description but still keeps turning off. Don't waste your money on this app im sure theirs something better out there.
App helps calm baby but the equalizer feature doesn't work at all. The volume never adjusts down once baby is quiet. It also just randomly stops completely sometimes and I have to restart it. You would think an app you have to purchase would be less glitchy.
While we love the actual Baby Shusher sound machine, this app is disappointing. It randomly shuts off in the middle of listening to it, which wakes up the baby. I'd expect it to malfunction if it were a free app. But I paid money for this and it doesn't work properly. I'm not happy with it at all.
The shusher works for up to 12 hours at a time whihh is muhh better than the actual shusher speaker does (15 or 30 minutes max). Annoyingly, the app does stop, usually to advertise the speaker (which I already have), this then causes my baby to wake between sleep cycles. When it's a paid app, I don't expect for it to stop because of advertising. Very frustrating.
Even with the auto volume adjustment turned off, it will shut off after a few minutes. Maybe it works on some phones, but not on mine.
The timer setting does NOT work & this shuts off after an hour and a half no matter what. It drives me crazy. Also, for a PAID app, it's really ridiculous to have an ad pop up to buy the regular baby shusher, especially if we already HAVE one.
This app was great the 1st night, however the 2nd and 3rd night it kept stopping and starting every 1-5 minutes and that woke my baby up much more than it soothed him.
This is amazing! I have trained my baby to go to sleep anytime he hears this thing! It is amazing and you would be foolish not to download it!!!! Life changer!!!
Please fix the glitches. The timer is all out of whack turning off when it wants to. Only negative thing I can say about it. My little one takes well to the noise whilst sleeping and helping to settle him. Please fix it!!.
Edit: Issue fixed! -----Original post: Worked great until the latest update. Now the app doesn't open, even after multiple reinstalls and phone restarts. On Galaxy S7 Edge.
The app will stop making noise sometimes for no reason and other times because the add to buy a physical shusher comes on. Please fix these issues. Otherwise would be a 5 star.
Love the sound but cuts off after 5 minutes even tho timer is for 30 min. Always having to click it back on to play which is annoying.
My baby loves the shushing, but it doesn't stay on! I was desperate so I spent the money, but disappointed that it litterally can't do what it's made for and that's keep shushing my baby all night. Should get refunded.
Stupid app, timer doesn t work, it stops after a few minutes. Get Baby Tracker, it has better sounds that mimic the womb.
I love this app. I am so surprised to see other reviews saying it's terrible 😕 i havnt had any problems what so ever. It has never stopped like other have said 🤔 Puts my son to sleep in minutes 😴 ❤ love it!
This app was great for the first week.. Suddenly, even with the timer set to a half hour, the shush turns off after five minutes. This is not okay when you're relying on the shush to get the baby to sleep!
As others state, this turns off after a few minutes regardless of settings. Otherwise would be 5*
i like the shushing rhythm ie long shushes unfortunately it is as described by other reviewers - the sound turns off/cuts off by itself and the equaliser sure doesnt work. get it only if you feel like doing charity!
This app is great when it works but I find that even if you set the timer for 12 hours it turns itself off multiple times and has never stayed on that long...not once.
Just bought the app to use but it randomly shuts off after 10 minutes instead of based on my timer. Otherwise it's just like the speaker minus I use my own speaker
Really mad I bought this app. I have the timer set for 4 hours but it turns off randomly and then everyone wakes up. If it worked right it would be great
5 star no doubt! People on here must be BOOMERS or LITTLE KIDS! Just go to "OPTIONS", and make sure auto is off. It should be highlighted. The Shushing last up to 12 hours which is ideal. It shushes for 3 secs and stops for 1 sec, I believe. 5$ is cheap for a night saver! Get this app is Shushing is what your baby needs!
Didn't work for our baby and it has glitches, such as turning off randomly then coming back on. Very disturbing to the baby.
Baby Shusher app crashes with the new update, especially when you try to access options. Edit: Everything works well again.
Have had this app for about 4 years and it worked great. However for the past few months it's been switching off after 5 minutes even though I've got the settings on several hours. Something has changed and it seems to be faulty now. Please fix it. There hasn't been an update forever.
