Baby View

Welcome to Baby View, a stimulating world of high contrast scenes designed to engage and delight your baby!
Baby View is a great way to encourage eye co-ordination and focus in babies in the formative months of their lives.

It is a well known fact that that while babies are very young, and their sight is developing, their vision is much more attuned to black and white, and high contrast images.

Babies love bright and sharp images. You can see their eyes light up and their interest is visibly raised when presented with these strong images. Add to that the extra dimensions of movement and sound, and your baby will be suitably impressed!

Baby View contains a variety of simple and interactive scenes for you and your baby to enjoy together.

The scenes promote visual development, focus and motion tracking.

Each scene falls into one of four main categories:

Black & white :

The highest possible contrast will engage even very young babies immediately! You will be delighted at how quickly they take to tracking the shapes across the screen. You will see your baby’s eyes following the shapes around as their interest is peaked almost instantly!

Black, white & primaries :

Introducing simple colours along with the black and white patterns adds some vibrant colour to the mix!

Colours on black :

Bold, bright colours standing out against an all black background make these scenes great fun!

Full colour :

These scenes are no holds barred
- all colour, all the way!

The scenes have great interactive elements for you and your baby to play along with. Some may be tricky for baby at first, but I’m sure you’ll be surprised at how swiftly they learn!

You and your newborn can get creative with images and music, introducing your little one to the sights and sounds of Baby View!

As well as being superb fun for healthy children, Baby View has been used specifically for helping babies whilst they are recovering from surgery after having their congenial cataracts treated. Also, Baby View is gaining popularity as an incredibly useful tool for the ongoing care of severely handicapped children.

We are very happy and proud of the success of Baby View so far. From all the customer feedback it does appear that it is proving genuinely useful and helpful to a great many families. We hope that you find it fun and useful too!

I bought this app because my son has CVI and we LOVE the Hey Bear YouTube channel. 😊 Pretty happy with this app but mostly bought it to support the maker since these videos are one of the only things my son focuses on. ❤️

I thought there would be videos. (Found out about it through baby stimulation YouTube) none. Great app if i didn't have so many issues. Losing sound, force closing. My son loves it. Though i could have saved money and gotten something similar I've had once before.

While it's cute and entertaining, it is very easy for them to get out of and also doesnt rotate which would help in not hitting the home button as quickly. App also loses volume during play and needs to be restarted.....not fun with a baby you're trying to keep occupied

I have been playing with this with my daughter since she was a few months old and she still loves it. The only thing that I wish it did was disable all the phone/iPad touch commands while it was running. Babies swipe and pinch while playing and it's frustrating to have to keep opening the game or changing the window back every few seconds.

I'm using this on a nexus 5 & 7, and when I first installed it, I swear that it hid the soft navigation keys (back, home, recent apps), which is completely necessary if you want to use "Baby View" with your baby. Otherwise, they just keep hitting back or home, which kicks you out of the game. Now that doesn't happen - the navigation keys are all visible and my son hits the back button as soon as he puts his hands on the phone. Needs a fix to be usable again, which would be great because it's an awesome app.

My baby loved it from the moment she could focus with the black and white and now over a year later she loves the more colorful active ones. Worth the buy for the full version after they turn about 6 months.

Hard to navigate when the home button vanishes so the only way to back out is to completely close and restart the app. Frustrating. Also missing some animations from what was shown in the demo video on YouTube. I should have tried the free version first, I guess. Disappointed.

Can you try to lock the home/back buttons like they do with the Toddler Lock app? I accidentally pressed the back button and it took me out of the app. Doesn't inspire confidence that my daughter will be able to use it without breaking my phone. Happy to give you a 4/5 once that issue is fixed.

Baby started watching this at 5 months. She is 20 months now and still playing with it. She knows how to press the home button and switch between screens. Well worth the buy.

I'd give this app 5 stars if it locked the android home/back/navigation buttons. People have been complaining about this for at least a year now, so why aren't you addressing this issue? It would be SO MUCH easier to use if I didn't have to restart the app every 20 seconds or try to stop the baby from hitting those buttons. Seriously, it's such a great app for babies, the best I've found content-wise, but this one issue makes it a last resort distraction tactic instead of the perfect baby app.

We watched the videos related to this app on YouTube when my daughter was only a month or so old and they would distract her for 10 minutes or so, so I could get the dishes done. She seems to have lost interest in the videos, but her interest in the app has really taken off at 4.5 months. She's really practicing her motor skills and it seems to be a calming activity for her touching the screen.

This app would be amazing except that my baby hits one of the onscreen android buttons every 5 seconds!! It's simply unusable in its current form. Baby hits the home, back or recent apps button and exits the Babyview app every time. Please fix and I will update my review.

I've been using this app for three months. My five month old baby FLIPS over the ocean/boat movements. This makes long waits in doctor offices, car trips, and dining out so much easier. I turn the app on, show him my phone, and he's perfectly content for ages!

My son used to love the circle square triangle star that would grow bigger from the center and make a sound each time. He doesn't like the other new ones that much. I don't understand why some screens were taken off to add some new ones. Why not include them all?

Loved the idea but developer known for MONTHS that the sounds goes out and is still selling this. Its not fair for the people to buy this app with known issues you won't even mention or even try to fix the issues smh THIS IS NOT HOW YOU RUN A "BUSINESS" and one click my baby can get out of the app and onto the main part of the tablet

This is the best app when you have a baby. My daughter absolutely l loves this app. Best $1.29 I've spent.

Would love for it to lock the home/back button so babies can't get out of the app other then that very awesome

And. I. Jan 13, 2014

Baby keeps pressing home/back/multitask buttons which quits the app. The app could really do with using Android 4.4's immersive mode.

I love this app but my baby girl always wants to hold the phone, so the minute she does, she presses a button on my Samsung and we lose the app. and have to restart it. Other than that, we love it!

This is perfect newborn babys. It keeps his attention very well and help with hand eye coordination.

Kat. Š. Feb 3, 2014

It's hard to believe such an application doesn't disable phone buttons (back, home, search, menu) - these should only be active from the game home screen, not from every screen. So it takes an effort to get back to the home screen but no effort at all to leave the game???

Have to give credit where it is due, and this app maker deserves plenty. There is not to much stimulation, although, my child still becomes very excited. Great recent update as well.
