The app itself is fine but ive had to cancel a few appointments because the clinician was running at least 10, sometimes 30 minutes late, I've only had one appointment that was on time, and on one occasion I didn't feel listened to, and the clinician sounded bored and irritable when speaking to me which wasn't a great experience. Have changed my rating after experience with the service
A very pleasant experience, the doctor I was appointed was kind, listened and responded clearly and knowledgeably. The app is easy to use and the video call (I selected video over a telephone call) was clear. I am not sure I will be going back to in-person GP appointments anytime soon. highly recommended.
This app is brilliant. Very quick to set up, they helped me sort out a problem with my NHS number. I got a first online consultation in a matter of days, followed by an in person examination. Babylon makes taking care of my health easier and stress free. You should expand to other countries, fantastic idea. Thank you!
Absolutely useless for the video calls, doesn't work even with all microphone and speaker settings correct, the impatient consultants will end the call without saying anything. Web version and the phone app out of sync, so the notifications sound buzz forever between different devices
The service was initially very good when I first used it in 2020. The app is glitchy and calls for appointments are difficult to connect to. The GP's used by Babylon can't get off the call fast enough and only want to take the minimum amount of info. Because the GP's are in such a rush I have been misdiagnosed twice. This should be the way ahead for initial medical support but sadly it falls short.
Excellent service for GP. However the system crashed apparently and no prescription could be issued, even any urgent ones. No other system or plan in case of system failure. The worst, the person on the support line to advise customers and patients. It seems like she missed the refresher training in customer care and talking to people on the phone for several years. Her rudeness could not compete with anyone. Definitely she would likely benefit from full retraining or improving her social skill
Had an appointment scheduled for 2130hrs, checked in 10mins prior as requested, and then the moment it turned 2130 I had received a notification saying that my appointment had been cancelled due to them trying to call me multiple times...when they hadn't....I'd been sat with my phone in hand, on loud to make sure I was ready and not once did it ring. Now it's asking me to rebook, why should I when I risk it being cancelled again! Incredibly poor experience.
Extremely poor accessibility. Awful app which does not work, have tried to log in through various browsers and connections, but always get a 'unable to connect message'. Have reinstalled several times, nothing works and also reached out to their support serval times and been told it must be a problem on my end. No point in having this when you can't access it. Useless.
Why have you removed the feature to select a doctor using their skillset area or even select a doctor you have seen before???? Collosal fail so 1 star. You can do it as I have a screenshot of it. But you have opted for backwards innovation. Not so clever. Awful service too. Been raising this and no one can help or offers help. Avoid!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have paid health insurance for myself and son. I tried to book a GP appointment for son which should be included for free, but I can't book this without paying. After numerous calls and lots of spinning we found out it's because of a typo on their end. Yet it's not getting fixed and I can't book the appointment in the meantime
Some things about the app are great. Unfortunately the GPs are hit and miss - some are brilliant, some are a bit sloppy and some are just outright rude. The app itself is again hit and miss. Ability to book an appointment is flexible, but requesting GP of specific gender doesn't always work properly and downloading a referral letter doesn't work either (still shows old referral letter).
Made an appointment with a physio, including scanning photographic ID and taking a photo of myself, which took a while, and then getting confirmation that the appointment was booked but there was no record of my appointment so i can't check in. A little frustrating to be honest.
It's all good, but missing some basic features. Like you can't click on links in the appointment summary. Notifications can't be marked as read, and you have to click on every notification to read it otherwise you might miss important notifications.
I keep having this problem where when a call is picked up it always come out of the speakers and never my bluetooth headphones. This is a problem when discussing a private matter.
I am so disappointed with this app. I have made several appointments where I sat by the phone awaiting a call only to be told that my appointment was cancelled. If they don't want to do the appointment, don't make the time available and don't falsely blame the video or say that I was not available!
I currently get cover for Babylon Health through private health insurance from work. Save for a few minor glitches with the app/ website, the service is great, I can easily schedule a video call with a GP within the next 24 hours and get a referral immediately after the appointment. I wish Babylon Health was available on the NHS!!
Unable to process my verification document and photo via the app. The customer service department then advised me to send in the document by mail and then responded by telling me to register via the app. I just want to see a GP but I cannot register.
Great format for NHS GP doctor communication. Only drawback i have with specifically the app is appointment edit option if you need to add a new pic or note changes in symptoms prior to appt. - This would be a welcome modification to the app if achieved. 4 stars as it is a work in progress in many ways, but a very good one. Has made a big difference for my circumstances at least.
The customer experience seems to be totally forgotten. Clinician's are always late, with me giving up after waiting 45 minutes for my latest appointment. There is no follow-up if you give up on their lack of service.
The customer service to resolve issue has been appalling. I cannot access my account on the app or any device and its been almost 3 weeks - still unresolved with no update.
Documents validation didn't work for me, had to contact support, now waiting for up to 3 days... Not very healthcare-like...
The booking of an appointment went well and was easy. However, the experience and technical ability of the app was pretty poor. I checked in 10 mins before the appointment, waited for the call as the app said. 20 minutes after the appointment my phone rings. I accept, the app opens, I can see me but the phone keeps ringing. Nothing I do changes that. Phone keeps ringing, then when it stops it tells me I've missed the call. I then get an email to say it's my fault and that I can't have a refund.
