Babylon Translator

I used to use babylon back in the late nineties over Windows systems. It was a great little program. Unfortunately, the designers and developers of this version I'm using, have done a terrible job. I am pretty shocked that babylon even released such an unreliable app. I am only talking about the functionality. The few words that I was actually able to successfully translate came out right. Obviously the dictionaries are still good. Uninstalling, even though I paid for it. Shame.

The app itself is OK and gives reasonable translations. But forget about customer services as it is pathetic!! It takes a week at a time to get a reply, and when you give them your purchasing details of the Pro version, they just deny you have made the purchase!! Also there is no way to transfer this app onto another phone, even when I have paid for the lifetime version!! As you get no code to enter through Google Play!! Don't waste your money on this, as it is no longer supported !!

I've had great experience with the app as well as desktop version. Now neither is working. I just paid again for lifetime subscription in September and it gives me an error message. This just started three weeks ago. I depend on this a lot. Very disappointed!!! Please address this!!!

After Google Translate ruined the App with their last update, I looked for an App to replace it. Saw this one recommended a few times. Free version is useless. Paid for the full version and found out it's still useless. Expected to get at least the functionality of the free Google Translate App, but cannot even get Thai English offline. Ripoff.

This company has no respect for their customers. If by any chance bought the full license few years ago, you can no longer use it as the software requests you to update to the latest version. Once you update it, the key for the license will be rejected on the ground that it is for the old version! The company changed its policy from a full paid license to a monthly subscription leaving its old customers without a clue or compensation. If you ever try to contact them, they give you rude answers.

Great application! Hey, an offline dictionary English-Romanian would be great! It should not be too hard to achieve that since you already have such dictionaries on Windows... Also, paste should automatically open the virtual keyboard, to allow pressing Enter. Am I wrong? Too many steps to translate, it should be added a macro to copy a word and open Babylon automatically... Thank you! All the best! ;)

I tried to check the performance of app for three time but translation did not displayed on screen. However, the notification message received that your free trial period has been expired and further you required money to upgrade the app. What I can say about the efficiency of app but only I can say Curse on the poor destitute owner of the app begging money for activation of this ordinary app. shame on you for begging. There are so many other companies are providing free service much better .

I really like this app. I have coworkers who struggle with English and I don't know a lot of Spanish. This app helps out tremendously to break down the language barrier.

Sentences and paragraphs for translators; When you tap for translation when written; Then only a few moments it seems that you will get translated text!!! Waiting for translation is a problem, not connection - other apps no problem😡 i used this site via internet, now it doesn't work, guess because you want us to use app... either way doesnt work!!!!! Now????

Slow not like the original you have to type in the word it doesn't work with other software apps to select the word and it does it automatically.

full of ads, slow, just one dictionary in free mode. There are already lots of good dictionary apps that work free and are completely offline with support of multi dictionaries. Don't install this Babylon

NEEDS MAJOR UI REFRESH. And when in installed it says this app was made for an older android version . So maybe android 11 compatibility is needed.

The dictionaries and the translations are ok. But the interface is awful. Please try to ameliorate it

This app has helped me many times. It is worth having on your phone for casual use ie traveling.

You only get to translate a few words or sentences for free before they cut you off and make you pay to translate more. I think I'll stick to Google Translate

It used to be excellent, now is full of adds, not a translation on sight.
