BabyTV Video

Unnecessary updates. I played the night songs for my child every night before sleep. Unfortunately after this latest update, it shows "unable to play video" each time I clicked on them. If u want to do an update, it should be an improvement, not with more glitches. And it is nothing to do with connections as the other videos were perfectly fine. I already sent an email but there was no response at all. As this issue is not really resolved with silly excuses given, I am unsubscibing to this app.

I paid for a subscription for this app to have the option of downloading videos to watch offline, but there is no option to do this on the app. After searching on the website I found a screenshot of how to do it, but it is completely different to the app Ive already paid for. Also there was a 7 day free trial period that I didn't get, the money came out of my account straight away! Seems like a huge rip off, or not updated? I'm so disappointed and feeling cheated!

No ads (im assuming because Im paying) and its really easy to use. However so far none of the content on the app is playable. So far I can only play Beep-beep. We got this because our baby (2 yrs) is obsessed with Mr Snail. Unfortunate this is one of the many videos that can't play. I raised it with Baby TV but to no avail. 1 star out of 5 for wasting our time and for making the baby really miserable. Shame as the content has so much potential yet the app has let them down. Im now unsubscribed.

This had all the promise of being the next best thing to having the BabyTV channel, however the irritation from it not working correctly unfortunately outweighs paying for a subscription. Currently the app doesn't work at all, it just loads the initial screen, and prior to this I found that I am unable to create my own playlist and cast. Putting on a new episode of something approximately every 5 minutes is not something I want to be doing.

The app seems to have a lot content once you subscribe to the service, but the player itself seems to be lacking some key functionalities, such as: - access to scheduled programming, so that you can have the same behavior as when viewing in a cable tv - ability to create multiple playlists - ability to create playlists of shows with randomized episodes (meaning you'd choose a list of shows, and each would show a random episode) - ability for continuous play when casting to tv. 2 stars

Ive got babytv for my baby since around 2 years, it was sooo good, but after the last update the whole app is completely different and very difficult. Before we used to have a full list so you enter which character you like and play the videos constantly, now its very very hard with a code on every time you want to play a video then only 1 video will play so afterwards it wont work automatically, you need to be available to put the code and then play a video. Im really upset of the new version!

Far far too many videos don't load with an error message. Especially if trying to play them directly from the homepage. None of the videos within the 'themed content - currently Halloween eever work. I've cancelled my subscription as its becoming infuriating,. I also dislike how IOS devices can download content for offline use but android can't. This is possible on other content streaming apps. If these issues are sorted I may resubscribe

Not that great. The app is quite buggy for one. The free videos have halved in quantity to what used to be available. The premium service is missing loads of shows like its a wonderful day, lale ki lolu, circus comes to town, mice builders and loads more. You can't download anything to watch offline and some videos are poor quality.

Love the content not how it works. My daughter loves babytv we just do not have it on tv. Seeing it has an app made me hopeful but the whole casting to tv doesn't work. And i am not using smart view as that prevents any further use of my phone.

Absolute rip off. Very annoyed as my daughter wanted it after seeing an ad on tv. We downloaded it because itvwas free but everything is locked until you purchase the free trial. She has not used it once but charged none the less. Tried to get a refund but no response. I would pay for pango or sago mini wayyyyyyyy before this app.

Nice that some of the content is there but you can't control the video ( pause, stop, rewind or forward and you have to close the app to get out) or cast it from your phone. It's a huge waste till you fix those things.

The new update has locked all shows in Portuguese, but all other languages play fine. I contacted customer support and did not hear back. Not very happy at the moment with this app, since I use it to help expose my toddler to Portuguese. Would live to see it fixed. Thanks.

Leaving my original problem in case others have similar issue.Since update 2 days ago, the app does not work! I am not able to view any videos. They all show a padlock on them and freeze on a title screen before crashing! I pay for a monthly subscription to this, but since the update all I have is one upset child who cannot watch anything he loves!

You can't download shows for watching when traveling out of wifi availability areas when using an Android. It was my sole reason for subscribing to this app. I've had it less than 24 hours so hopefully I will be able to get a full refund.

The videos with # on the title is unplayable! Edit : It is now working. The support asked me to Uninstall and then reinstall to no avail. What I found by myself working is changing the language to other than English and then change it back to English.

Terrible app.. No playlist, have to manually click on the cartoon every few mins... You wd think the app developer has some brains to solve the issue... Anyway.. U were good on TV.. But as an app.. Its dumb as F

The app has become extremely slow and unstable taking so long to start up upon opening the app and when trying to watch videos, leaving my son upset and frustrated. Very disappointing especially as I pay for the subscription!!

Really nice app. Children friendly. Just one remark : When I add items to favourites and cast it to TV they are not switching automatically to the next one. This is possible on the phone but not while casting. Can you do sth about that?

Can't cast to TV - therefore no point in having it on my phone, I'm not giving my toddler my cell phone. Also no option to watch offline - not everyone always has internet access.. Very upset The Egg Band shows were removed from YouTube, and now they aren't even all available on the app either!

The app needs to support play lists - in which videos will play 1 after the other ! The app would play 1 short video (if you are lucky) & stop. The content is great - but the app developers have not done justice to it !

My son loves the BabyTV channel at his grandparents house. We downloaded the app - onto my Pixel and onto his older Samsung 5. The app loads and works on his Samsung 5, which is a monitored and controlled device, but will not work on my Pixel. I have read through the suggestions by the team to reviews here and have favourites some free videos but cannot complete the subscribtion process as the app won't load on a supervisors phone.

terrible....i have subscribed... but can only watch it on my phone as unable to cast to tv....i can cast other apps from my phone but no baby tv...so i have tried casting it from my sons phone and from a tablet and its the same problem...the cast icon is present but is faded....so its definitly a problem with the app and not all the different devices i have tried...

Doesn't seem to have the ability to cast from your mobile to the TV (which would be handy) and the whole app is really buggy with buttons to go back not working etc. Really needs improvement

A wasted opportunity, you can't cast the programs directly from the app. My kid absolutely loves this and I would have happily paid if it was possible to cast to Chromecast or similar, you can't, and I'm left feeling this app is a waste of time.

Awful App. No point in it at all, unless you want your children to have your device and not Thier own. If installed on a child's device, you cannot subscribe. Read an earlier response to a review saying it's a fault with Google. NO ITS A FAULT WITHIN YOUR PROCESS. What's the point in having a enterable code in your app if you don't make sure of it, especially in this scenario. Poor design and poor execution. I see BabyTV have responded to all other reviews, but not this one. Wonder why?

Since update no longer registers my subscription and crashes when I click on favourites. Installed on another device. Won't play half the videos. Useless now!

I'm subscribed and PAY for this and only 50% of the videos will play!!!! FIX it please its ridiculous when I'm paying and it doesn't work !!!!!

Found about it from YouTube. By labeling it as free didn't mean all the content are free. You can't even lock it, which you know well baby to toddlers are impossible not to move their fingers around. Limited content and limited game.
