Backdrops - Wallpapers

I personally think the wallpapers in this app are very very good. The reasons for my opinion is as follows.1. They give a great selection of content to choose from. 2. It's paid version is priced low,, I think they could get more but there not greedy, 3. 100% smoothe, hassle free experience and quick as well.

An AMAZING app!!! If you love colorful, pastel, abstract, non-realistic backgrounds/wallpapers, this app is for you... and if you like having actual photos for your wallpaper, leave and never come back because you're insane. Anyways, I love the background options this app has - I just keep finding more wallpapers that I love and keep downloading!! The only suggestion I have is to add a favorites menu option to the side navigation bar/menu instead of only having one on the home screen section.

I used to use the Ringtones & Wallpapers app, also available on Play Store, as it was convenient, like feeding 2 squirrels with 1 nut! They had a comparable selection of wallpaper's to this app. They all pretty much have the same damn images anyways, but, seeing that I'm reviewing this app, I'll say Backdrops selection is so much better than the other guy! 🤏🏽🙉 Don't worry though Backdrops, the other guys have a problem with their wallpaper section of their app, so, now I'm stuck with ya!!

I've seen some pretty great wallpapers coming out of this app. My only complaint is that there aren't really enough of the great wallpapers to choose from. I feel some either had to much going on or just really didn't catch my eye with regards to my home screen setup. Personally, I'd love the developers to add a little bit more saturation and brightness to some of the images also, as certain ones specifically seen unfinished. Thanks!

The good; • Comes with a decent collection of wallpapers (I'm using a non pro version). • The ads are acceptable and not that much annoying. I haven't had a pleasing experience with the app. The bad; - The thumbnails for many wallpapers won't show even with a good connection. - The resolution for most of the photos are not for my phone. - Sometimes, the app takes noticeable time to open.

Last update ruined it. Now there is a redundant confirmation dialogue everytime you want to set a wallpaper. And it's much slower. Before the update the wallpaper setting process was so fast that the moment I tap set wallpaper and it was applied by the time I press the home button. But now it's just slower. If I have to make a video showing the difference, I'd be happy to. Please revert back or give me an option to choose the application method.

The images are cool but the app doesn't really work, it's impossible to select the category you want as it doesn't open the one you select but picks a random one nearby. Would also be nice if you didn't have to wait for the image to finish saving before moving into the next image and the possibility to have a slideshow of these images as a background would be good, at the moment you'd have to download every image you want individually and then use a different app/method to do this.

There's no way to actually preview a full background image in this app. It shows you the top half, with the bottom half obscured by the user interface. Your only option is to save the file and preview it from another app, or just set it as your wallpaper and hope you like the entire image. This seems like a fundamental oversight in such a basic, single-purpose app.

I paid for the pro version. It needs a lot of improvements. You cannot leave a wallpaper while saving. Otherwise, it won't be saved properly. Wallpaper selections are quite poor compared to other free apps let alone paid apps. It takes forever to load wallpapers while scrolling through. The pro version isn't worth the money. Save your money and just look for another apps.

I tried with Play Pass and very much like the app. You can choose by category, select favorites, and even set wallpaper of the day by long pressing icon on home screen. Loads very quickly, and if long pressing on "set" you can resize/move the wallpaper for your screen. Not experiencing any issues as described by others and have been using for a few months now. Great job devs!

Great wallpapers, but I'm really disappointed by the lack of some History/Downloaded feature. I changed some wallpapers and wanted to revert back to a previous one, and there is no way to find it from the application, the only solution is to search through the WHOLE collection (if you can't dig it from the file system). I would really like to have a preview of my previously downloaded wallpapers. Other than that I would gladly give the application a five star rating.

Was once really good. These days apps like walpy allow you to rotate the wallpaper automatically, which is awesome. Backdrops is still ok, as it has a great selection - if you're interested in spending time, looking through wallpapers and setting one manually, then repeating the process.

Out of nowhere the app is showing "Something went wrong. Please check your connection and try again." whenever I try to set wallpapers from favourites. It is able to set non favourite wallpapers but who wants to do that. Please address this issue as I am unable to use the app.

I have purchased pro but would advise others to not to. Problems have been going for a long time now and the developer doesn't seem to care. You cannot set a wallpaper, once you click on set it just keeps loading. Sometimes it works but to download a 500KB file it takes 15-20 seconds on a 100MBPS+ connection. Wallpaper previews are also very slow to load. I don't know on which servers are these wallpapers stored but they are very bad. I have mailed the developer but he didn't reply.

I love the app and I happen to have the pro version but I switched to one plus 6 recently and now whenever I try to set a wallpaper it zooms in and only sets the extreme right of the picture as the wallpaper. It's really annoying. Please add support for different aspect ratios.

Back down to one star, and I'm deleting the app. This used to be a really good app. I bought the pro version. Sadly, the pro version would be inactivated every once in a while. This used to be fixed by re-installing the app, but not anymore. The "restore purchases" button has never worked for me, so now I've basically paid for nothing. Seems like I'm not the only one experiencing this. This problem has been ongoing for years! No replies from the devs on here or e-mail. *Do not download!*

Wallpapers are great, but downloading in the background is just not a thing for some reason. You click the save button, and then you just wait around for it to finish downloading. If you leave half way through, thd image just gets corrupted. Not a great user experience for people with bad internet.

This app is the best wallpaper app i have encountered ever. Its UI is simple and there are endless wallpapers of every choice whether it be love, games, tech, study or whatever, Backdrop has got everything for you.

At first, it was great. Very nice selection of wallpapers, great quality too. Purchased Pro version and enjoyed my wallpapers. Now, the wallpapers never get updated. There is no "Daily" Wallpapers, it changes once a week (if you are lucky) and no one uploads wallpapers anymore. This app seems to have died. Time to look for something new I think!

Been using this for probably over 5-6 years now and it's still my main wallpaper app. Great interface, Good selection of themes to choose from, and pro features are well priced! The only issues I'm having is with my OnePlus 8 the set wallpaper function keeps offsetting the wallpapers to the right sightly, so I always have to apply the wallpaper using another application. Hope this gets addressed soon!

After a few updates, they removed my premium license. I don't know why and I've been trying to get it back for the longest time. Super disappointed. Not to mention the way the app itself has been misbehaving. Every time I try to apply a wallpaper it rotates my screen and I get an error message. This has been happening for months.

First of all, Backdrops - Wallpapers is undoubtedly an amazing application. It has awesome, excellent quality wallpapers specifically designed for your mobile phone. I sincerely appreciate the attention to detail provided and incorporated to each individual wallpaper, respectively. Furthermore, this app exceeded my expectations to the extent of which I ended up purchasing the pro version of the application. Therefore, I recommend this app and give it a five-star rating ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

If you're looking for a good wallpaper app, I think you found it. Backdrops is most likely the best wall app of all time! It has all the genres of wallpapers, so you can choose what you like. and you can even add your own wallpapers so others can use them. There's even a premium(or as as the app calls it, Pro) pass in which you only need to pay once and you get the pass for all time. Seriously if you're still reading this then I think this is the app for you 😁

I have one suggestion for you guys...Add a feature like shuffle or refresh, which can help the users to navigate through all wallpapers otherwise we have to see the same wallpapers again and again. Add the shuffle option so that every wallpaper gets its chance to be in the top.

Thank God for Backdrops Wallpapers !! One of the most exciting and very best wallpaper app going !! The variety and scope of selection of wallpapers is astounding and there is NO wallpaper collection like this one, every wallpaper is different and all seem to be vibrant hd. Just a beautiful collection anyone should love !! 😁😁😄😄😃😃😀😀😉😉❤️❤️💜💜🧡🧡

If you're in the market for excellent looking wallpapers, then look no further fellas! This humble little app will let you set your wallpaper, but only when it wants to! That's right! See that minimalist wallpaper? Too bad! You can't load it! You also get the luxury of seeing the loading wheel spin for hours just waiting to set a new background. Oh, but wait! This developer even went above and beyond to not update the issues! So stop what you're doing and download this useless app today!!

It's functional as a barebones wallpaper library, but that's about it. It lacks QoL features, like the ability to automatically cycle wallpapers at set intervals, that many free apps have had for years. It strikes me as bizarre that a premium app would actually be less full featured then its free counterparts, but here we are.

Love this app I wouldn't have found except for having Google Play Pass. Had Zedge for years, deleted. Simple straightforward app with beautiful wallpapers. Works really well with all my devices especially my tablets. My only wallpaper app from now on. Wish I could get in that Beta.🤩

Pro user here. Used to be my go-to wallpaper app as the resolution and quality this app offers is unparalleled. Since a while there are so few new wallpapers and the new wallpapers are in portrait resolution which is fairly irritating considering that I use the walls on my PC as well. Suggestion: Let the users have the choice of portrait/landscape wallpapers.

The app is good in terms of UI and the wallpapers are also good and functional. What I am disappointed at is the inappropriate ads that show up. I booted the app for the first time and on the first page there was such an inappropriate ad that I was instantly forced to close the app. I have mailed the dev to take a look at it to ensure no such ads creep up in the app, but I doubt how that will be done.
