Backgammon - Play Free Online

This used to be a really good game. Now people use tricks to slow the game when they are losing. I get about two decent players out of ten. iPhone players appear to have an advantage. Many terrible players spoil the game. No use writing to the operators. They chuck you a few coins to shut you up. Lovely graphics but sick of losing because I run out of time. Still, I'm really quick now!

Connectivity seems to be an issue with this game. Told I've lost on many occasions when the game is still being played! Trying another app after 2 years of being on it.

Fun game but you could be on level 3 with 20,000 chips playing someone on level 64 with 1 million chips. Also one play may get 4 doubles in a row while the other get squat.

Constantly quits right in the middle of the game. Ridiculous. Lost ALL of my chips because of it. Update: constantly times out for no reason!

Most blatantly manipulated algorithm i've ever seen. All online backgammon has algorithms that manipulate dice rolls, (for marketing reasons), but this one takes the cake. You can actually call the dice roll prior to rolling and, in most cases, depending on what the algorithm is trying to achieve, you will always be right. Brutal-no chance of winning, (or losing), fair and square. It's too bad because the actual layout and functionality of this site/game is great.

As much as this is a well put together App, on a number of occasions I have been told I have lost the game part way through when I have no issues with my reception or WiFi. It is unacceptable especially when some people pay for their chips! 3 times this has done it to me today and each time I've lost 25k chips, not to mention the times before that! Might be time to look for a more reliable app.

PLEASE ADJUST THE BOARD DISPLAY SO THE ENTIRE BOARD IS VISIBLE...or let me know what I can do so the right side panel is visible. This is the panel with the time clock, payers' names and tray for discarded pieces. I am unable to see this panel.

The dice are fairly predictable. Once you are matched with an opponent, the timer counts down I think 5 seconds before play begins. however, there is no way to cancel before the game actually begins. For example, I have say 3 million chips, but the opponent has 85 million chips....theres no way to exit the game...and seems in those games every dice roll is the perfect roll for the opponent. It's actually really annoying. Thanks for listening

Pretty good app. However it has some bugs. During several games the program would "freeze" it would not allow a move, then it would timeout and i would lose the game; at other times i would win the game and the system would indicate a loss. There are other times when the system will not allow a legetimate move, but will allow an alternate unwanted move. These glitches in the system are frustrating. But overall i still choose this app over several others.

Ads are ridiculous. Every time you go to comment, when someone leaves the table, end of game/match, etc. Some of the ads are so long that you time out and lose a match because of it. Also many people purposefully delay by reconnecting and running the time out when they know they've lost and there's no way to report or warn others from playing with them.

So sick of getting kicked out of games! I've lost countless chips because of this. I played all day, kept getting kicked out until I lost all my chips on both my Facebook account and guest account. Went back in tonight to get my bonus so I could play one game and got kicked on both accounts so counted as losses again. I was winning both games also! And no, it's not a wifi problem, I kept switching from wifi to mobile data to make sure that wasn't the problem.

You always ruin the game by making you lose 11 games in a row so you can never win once you have earned coins. The dice get insane letting the computer players win. If the dice were truely random, this would never happen. It happens every time for the last few years. If you fixed it so the dice were truely random for all games at all dollar levels then i would find it easy to give it a five star rating.

I didn't believe some reviews that suggested this game was rigged until I experienced it myself. If you play the beginners level at 5,000 your coins may last longer and will win a few games. If you dare to play higher levels 25k and up, then you have no chance. The opponent makes some moves at a speed that is not human, like moving three chips simultaneously when playing a double. And obviously, the opponent rolls the dice with unbelievable luck while you get a double-one if lucky. Uninstalling

I was really liking this game until a few minutes ago, shortly after i took the time out to do the "rate this game." Using up all the chips I'd been collecting, I clicked it once more to play another game the next level up. Halfway through the game, it was as if my opponent started moving pieces, avoiding me from landing on him, at the same time, freezing me from moving. Thus, time ran all the way down until I lost, due to ti.e running out. I was easily ahead, almost having my pieces safely in

I like the board and it works most of the time, except I've has a few instances where my opponent requests to double my bet, and it clearly says "double" but when I agree it goes "all in" instead. Because of that the app has eaten about $20 of my money. Ive tried to explain what is happening to their support team, there is a bug in their code, but they reply as if I'm an idiot. So I'm done using this app.

The game is horrible the dices hit exactly when you need them which means it's not random at all as it should be! Please don't play this game as you will only lose time and get angry. As an example I only got 1 on one of the dices when I was removing my pieces from the table when of course I had no pieces on position 1. This happens for 6 or 7 dices in a row.

They lost customers now they are taking chips from your account..I updated the site and they took all my chips..beware of the scams this site is doing...stay awsy.

It's a fun game, when it works. Has many technical glitches that can interrupt play, which forces you to end the game and lose chips. Be careful when selecting the game you want to enter as it's hard to cancel if you make a mistake. All in all, I do enjoy it and wish there were less tech issues.

It's fun when its working. But really annoying when the timer keeps going but I can't roll or finish my turn then I end up running out of time? Why does this happen and can someone fix it.

I have been playing with this app and worked well with glitches here and there that were fixed. In the last two week everytime the opponent runs out of time It says I have lost and takes my money. I have lost over $350,000. I have reached out each time and got one email saying they will look into it. i have yet to hear back or get my chips refunded. For an app that charges so much money and taken my money gladly over the years their customer service is non existent.

Absolute rubbish. Installed just to play with friends. They dont receive my invitations nor do I receive theirs. It took a while before we could see ach other but still when trying to connect end up playing with someone else and guess what you try to leave all your chips get wiped out. I certainly dont remember putting all in. Now it refuses to connect because I dont hace enough chips apparantly but guess what you can get some if you pay.... What a con

The game is not random is beyond chance. The number of times my opponent rolls a 1:1 or 6:6 when it is the only roll that will help them is extremely high. There is only a 1 in 36 chance of rolling these numbers. I have played a game where my opponent rolled 6:6 5 times in a row and ended up winning the game from a near impossible situation. Also when you are in a winning position you will suddenly lose connection. The game does not recognise a backgammon only a gammon.

This game is a disadvantage to the player who doesn't buy chips dice always not just a few times sway to the opponent who has a high chip count going to take the app off my phone and try a different one. Also happened 4 times in the last 10 games where you will be beating an opponent and low and behold 3 sets of doubles for the win

Game-play is good, but the "piece moving" animation seems a bit slow. Might be nice to have a "concede" button. I have reason to suspect the dice are not entirely fair. Whether that's programmed in or just a bad RNG is unclear. But there are too many miraculous comebacks and rolling of the exact things you (or they) need. Also seems to be a slight bias toward the person with more money. To be clear, i have no concrete evidence, just a lot of observations of non-random-looking fishiness.

Very unstable, the game loses connection on a regular basis and has plenty of other bugs that quite often make it unplayable. I've lost millions in chips through this and it's extremely frustrating.
