Backgammon - Real Players

Infuriating. If you play free, your paying opponents will get a parade of doubles and perfect rolls to send your pieces to the bar over and over. Shame, because the online interface works well, which is the only reason for 2 stars. This, unfortunately, is a feature on ALL the pay-to-upgrade gammon games.

I've been playing off this app for a few years. They were rated 5 but then changed their main page format recently. It's just not the same. I wish you'd change it back to the way it was. The main page we all play off of and invite others to play is very frustrating. Changed rating from a 5 to 1.

The gameplay is not bad, but it's impossible to build points unless you buy tickets and they are not cheap, you rarely get points for winning but lose points everytime you lose a game. It has room to improve, not perfect but not bad either.

Terrible app. Can't play a real game with doubling, doesn't explain features like ladder games, points, etc. Was giving me a screen urging me to buy tickets, but no where explains how it works. Now started giving me ads almost every move, more than 20 times a game which upsets opponent cause I have to wait to move all the time. Plus if I get way ahead opponents just leave and I don't get credit for win. Deleting, don't bother downloading, most frustrating app I have ever downloaded from Google..

This game is garbage. Compared to other Backgammon apps the controls are awkward. The in-house ads are intrusive. The design looks absolutely ancient. You'd think you were playing on a flip phone it looks so old. Finally the log in frequently just doesn't work. I think this app is just a scam.

If you're looking for a casual FREE game on a great app for free then this isn't it. Very poor interface, lots of confusion and constantly harassed to buy tickets. Plenty of other good alternatives out there. One star is too much.

This game is fun from a "playing with a live player" perspective, but it's rolls are not random as they claim. The rolls favor the "drama" of the game, meaning that it will more often then not give your opponent the edge if it thinks you've made a risky move. Leave a chip open where the opponent would have to get a very specific dice combination, and inevitably they get it about 3/4 of the time. So if you like drama, you might like this. If you like real backgammon, you will get frustrated.

Great fun app. Really good way to learn or play backgammon. Clean, nice graphics and easy to navigate through the app. The game is a lot of fun to play. I particularly love the fact that you can watch other tables. Great app to play if you are bored or if you want to learn or improve your backgammon game. Nice that you can play against other people!

Dices are pretty fair, no buggy at all as I have played many backgammon games, this is a one stop app So far I am enjoying it mostly because of the friendliness of the players and the flexibility within the game itself...more involvement. I read the reviews before I downloaded and despite the whining of a few I chose to try it anyway. I am glad I did because now that I have played myself it doesn't seem any different than the other BG games. Don't take life so seriously,

This is a good backgammon game. The dice rolls are disproportionately in favor of players that pay for tickets. My opponents regularly recieve 4-7 doubles per game, to my 2-3 double rolls creating a pip count so low the game is simply unwinnable. The players are rude, the tournaments are a money trap, and you can find a better app.

This is set up to get you to pay. You play 5 games free as a guest. Design is not great either. Look at the reviews. One individual complained of Design and the developer said they could pay lol. I played half a game then uninstalled. There are better games than this one. For free

Bit difficult to get a match going at first...not super intuitive. But seems to work well as a platform after that. Basic but good

Very good and also allows reconnecting with a bad network connection. Waiting room interface could be better, but gameplay is perfect!

App keeps crashing and I hace been a user for years. Recently was charged 199 on 299 for tickets and I have never played with tickets and I would never purchase tickets. I emailed them, they never got back to me and I definitely never was refunded the money.

Backgammon club is very interesting It has fantastic levels and graphics are also fine keep it up....

Backgammon Club has awesome features and easy to usderstand and play. I loves to play it and highly recommend it.

Excellent game for social interaction. Backgammon club is the only game that encapsulates the spirit of board gaming. The pieces' movement is really wonderful.

Worth the download!!! This is a great app that I will be recommending to all my friends. Beautifully made, easy to use and understand, also it takes in to consideration people who may not be that tech savvy.

An Ok version of Backgammon, though somewhat glitchy. Has a few flaws that people exploit in order to cheat. For example, if you are quick, you can double AFTER you have rolled.

Best Backgammon club game I have ever seen. It's amazing so cool game. Highly recommend game. You can play online with other players. Great.

Did not know how to play backgammon, but this game guided me well on the rules and some good strategy. Really enjoyed being able to play with others online. Looking forward to climbing the ranks and improving my game.

Excellent game for interacting with others. The only backgammon club game that captures the essence of board gaming. The movement of the pieces is also fantastic.

We're have a lot of fun with this playing between distant locked down friends (while running Skype video at the same time). Corona can drive some good changes. Thanks.
