Useful app it does what it says & cuts down on time it would take to normally close the apps by hand. As always I don't give full stars to any app that uses ads especially an app that's as simplistic as this one, it should be free with a donation button.
Very bad on new device. Just purchased a new tablet ( device name T8...Build # T8V1.... Android ver 11. Everytime I try to use it it closes and tell me that " I have to install Amazon Appstore... required...no program/app should make you install something you don't need..... As on my cell phone works great, guess it's because I have Amazon Shopping that came with my cellphone. I'm wondering if I should also remove it from my other devices????
Need desperately to see list of bkgrnd apps that are not battery optimized. On older Android 7, seems essential, as those apps falter in use if batt opt'd. Ex: screenshot/cropper util. I use this app to battery restrict others that run uninvited. Thanks. Amazon Fire OS Tablet starts all Google apps in background, which makes your app a necessity.
Want to rate it 5 star after knowing answers from you. 1 Whats Confirmatory test to conf|rm, the listed Apps are really really consuming resources in the background?? 2. Can Automation of this App happen ? I meam, this App should wake up at predefined intervals (say, after every 1,2,3,.....n minutes) & thereafter, list all background running Apps , but force stop, only preselected , background running Apps & spare those which are NOT PRESELECTED ? 3. Does BitDefender Android App run in backgro
Appreciate the Support I am just getting started looking at your apps, but I am pretty impressed by your approach , transparency, and honest responses to feedback.
Tested on phone & tablet both running android 11 on Galaxy. Says every app and service installd is running. I don't think so.
Perfect, no permissions required, makes it easy to kill apps not in use, but it should kill itself automatically upon closing
Great app for listing those pesky background processes and making it easy to kill them off if need be. I was surprised by how many were running in the background. Only suggestion I have is a settings option so that one can go back and change the Open on Boot setting. I don't really need to see the app every time I boot, but there are occasion where I do and would like to turn it back on if need be. It would be helpful to have the ability to change that setting at times.
Worked well for several months. All of a sudden, if I force close an app then go back to Background to do it again for another I app, I'm forced to watch an add. In general, that's no big deal, but I can't get out of it. Seems like I'd need a mouse which I don't have (on my TiVo 4k streaming stick). Am I missing something?
Initially had issues but quite good with latest update. I dont like full screen ads you have to close and then hit back in between each force stop.would prefer a banner ad. of course it isnt very automated but that's Google's fault not the developers. Goog is very well aware we want their apps to take a hike when we're not using them and hence you cannot force close them for any length of time without first rooting your device then disabling packages.
seems to work... somewhat. none of these really work well, but this is semifunctional
it do what it did promse. put it is laggy and slow. also sometimes some button Disappear🤨 (A7 2018 - android 10.0 UI 2.0)
Excellent, loving it! Don't see any link to purchase a "Pro" version to remove the ads. (?)
Excellent app!! Don't know why I never used this app before. Tells you what apps are running so you can close them and frees up so much ram and some space on my phone and Firestick. Solved a lot if connection and buffering problems on my Firestick. Must have app for phone or anything you use for streaming. Thank you for making this app!
This app is the most amazing app I use. After finding it I could never go without it. I use it on all of my Android devices from phones to TV boxes. All the people complaining about it not working have no clue what this app is for and all of its intended uses. 100% respect to the developer.
This app was once great and it still works fairly well with firestick and android box that is rooted and running an ad blocker but on a phone without root there are so many ads that the app is useless as you literally cannot do anything without an add pop up for several annoying seconds. Thats just sketchy.
Don't understand the point of this app. Be forced to watch an unskippable full screen ad with every tap. Select the apps you want to close (watching a hundred ads whilst you select them), then click close only for the app to launch the "app info" dialog for each app. Meaning you then need to click force close on each app manually anyway. All wrapped up with a final full screen video add! Edit: found KillApos which actually does everything this app claims to do.
Works great! Force stop all apps running in the background and speeds up my devices!
This was app agreat for getting rid of background processes slowing down your device. In my case I used this app on my Android TV and have been happy with it until today. At some point there has been an app update and as a result you're now forced to watch or "experience" ads with each use. Now it doesn't render using the app completely useless, which is why I gave it 2/5, but now I have no reason to use this app as I know which ones cause the largest drain on system resources. Such a shame.
When trying to closebapps it takes me to every individual app system screen to force close or uninstall. When I hit back it goes to the next, so for 202 apps its not helpful and if I wantd to force quit them each I wouldn't need this app. Who has time to do that? I think this app need special permissions to admin other apps but do not see any elevated permissions so this is probably why hitting close just brings each app system dialogue up. If worked and had filtering I would pay for it
It's not what I was expecting, this app can't close running apps, it just shows them and then opens the system settings where you can force stop the app manually, one by one. Still useful regardless.
Very good app and does what it says but it's missing a lot of things like graphics and design and most importantly, features. It's lacking features like disabling apps by it self or have more control on the app
in previous (now unavailable) version, being online was NOT required. In the previous version, the evil runaway app "Google Play" could remain happily disabled most of the time. This evil app now pointlessly requires both, making it much less than completely worthless.
I hit the close all apps and go back to check and it reads 8 apps open in background and that's on my tv. I tried close selected apps. Go check 8 apps open in background. Head scratcher. Why does it say it's open when I. Just closed them???
It does't work on Oppo Phone Update: it just freeze and it does nothing.
Very quick simple app with neat appearance.
Does it help closing all the background apps? -yes. is it great? -no. what it needs is an option to mark which apps to close and which to leave open and have a shortcut I can put that autorun the cleaning action. that would give it 5 starts and $ from me.
Ok I will be waiting for the new update with auto close feature
I do like the app. Works well once I understood it. My only issue I have is the ads. I understand the need to make income on the part of the program developer but that is my only problem. It seems it did not occur until recently so maybe it came with an update. Possibly shorter duration ads or a paid version ( inexpensive hopefully ) .
