ADVICE:
Try to memorize the track’s chords and study the pentatonic or other scales diagrams closely. Each key has less than 10 boxes! They are not really hard to remember! Finally, you should learn where each box starts for each key. In the end, you will be jamming along with any track effortlessly! More than 700 jam tracks for guitar are at your disposal!

WHAT IS A PENTATONIC SCALE?
A pentatonic scale is one consisting of five notes, and that’s it! It is used widely in all genres and styles, and it is one of the most important scales for guitarists. There are five forms or templates (boxes) for each key. The boxes remain unchanged, except starting positions are different. Therefore, once you grasp one key, other ones will come much easier!

Love it. Nice simple layout. You pick a song, it gives you the chords if you just want to play rhythm guitar or if you want to play lead all the scales for the song key are provided. Just remember to tap on the scales in the chord section to bring them up properly, for the first few weeks I was being an idiot and just looking at the scales and trying to work out which frets they were supposed to work in. When you tap them you get the scales and where they are on the fretboard. Download it now!
I love playing music; as an electric/acoustic guitarist, I want to play well. I had searched for an app with nothing but instruments to practice playing when no one's available to jam with. I stumbled upon the free version, tried it out for four months. Stepped away from the app for 2 months on purpose to see if the wow factor still held me up returning. I literally just re-opened the app, played along. I bought the pro version. It's affordable and packs are inexpensive. It's a must have.
I am loving this app. What a fantastic way to learn scales and actually having a load of fun whilst doing it. It is really hard to find the time and energy to interact with humans and all those dramas that accompany relationships, when your an old prick like me. This app eliminates any need to find someone to play with. It doesn't replace it but it does allow you to get on with learning enjoyably. Makes a huge difference to the outcome. Oh and it's cheap too.
I've been playing guitar for 10 plus years in several genres. This is the best app I've found for practice and jamming with. I can put on my headphones and jam quietly on the bus without waking anyone up. It has way more variety than I thought it would have, which gets me to expand my playing, keeping me out of a rut. Great for practicing lead with. Highly recommended.
I bought the pro version, yet the app has a pop up window to buy the pro version with nearly every action I click on. When I try to clear it, the app says "duplicate purchase". Very annoying. I requested a refund from Google and received it. DO NOT PURCHASE! Edit: I sent you an email first. The app is awesome. This is just annoying. I really wanted to expand the usefulness. I don't see how you can change how the app functions. For ex. Press metronome, get message to upgrade... Awesome otherwise.
This app helped me put together scales and chords. I been playing for along time and never bothered to learn any theory or scales, or modes or tri ads. Just having someone or thing to play with and improvise. I have a blast with this. Can't believe I didn't think of it earlier. The apps worked great for me. Try it, you can always uninstall it .
I have never seen so many honest or positive reviews on an app before. I am a multi-instrumentalist and singer Songwriter, and have been for the majority of my life. I've written thousands of songs, melodies and lyrical compositions, in almost every style and genre, on multiple instruments. But for many of these, I have been alone, for much, just me and my guitar; the versatility and portability of the wooden frame, always leading me back towards one. Ty devs, this app is life-changing.
I have the latest version installed. ANY app, on any phone, that wants to store something on that phone, must have permission to do so. Every single app that stores information has to have permission. If you don't believe me, simply go to settings > apps and notifications > app permissions > storage. This path may vary depending on the phone you were using. AND you still have not fixed this > the app can't delete files individually, you can only delete all files or none.
Truly one of my favorite apps. Practice new scales, licks, technique exercises, or just improvising. And Iv found inspiration from one or two of the backtracks as well. Kind of wish the chords were available in the free version. Not all the features, I've got nothing against buying your app, it certainly worth. But the chords can be worked out in a few minutes, I figure save me the few minutes and let me enjoy the app grow the need to purchase the other features. Great job on this app, though.
Well it's got a lot of different genres of music to choose from. You can speed up or slow down the tempo and even change the pitch of the song in settings.. I would give it five stars if you could add some arpeggios in the charts under settings. And I do like this app a lot, Thanks!
