I had made a backup on previous ROM .. Then I flashed new ROM and tried to restore .. All it says no data to restore for SMS, MMS, settings , call logs etc .. But it finds app data .. When I checked using file explorer I saw that all data exist onside Backupeverything directory .. But app is not able to find It .. Now what am I supposed to do

First, I hate this app. Zero stars. Second, as stated here: I was able to restore my stuff once I deleted all 5 "-journal" files. They were 0 byte here. Share the info, a lot of people seem to have lost their data because of this software.
I cannot restore my SMS and call logs, or contacts. View and manage shows the files, but when u try to view them the app crashes. upon restore only applications were restored. please issue a fix asap as i've lost some key information
On Froyo it worked fine, but now 2.3.7 and ICS has made this thing a pile of nonsense - restoring gives "no data to restore" as result and any effort to manage and view backups crashes the application. If it does not work on Gingerbread and ICS and developers website gives 403 error, I really do not understand, what is going on - especially when looking at date of last update, which is only few weeks ago. It is kind of bad, that there's no way to give zero star ratings...
The first time I needed this app to work it didn't and I lost all my call log info and messages as well as picture messages. It backed up all my apps properly but it was quite a surprise when I formatted my phone and this app read "no data to restore" in most fields. I will find a new app to use next time.
Did a full backup, flashed a custom rom, lost my apn settings as was expected. Then hit restore. This app begins to restore then it goes from 0% to 100% Instantly! And of course actually does nothing! Get me my apn settings back! Btw, apn is your wifi ip address
I don't understand how this application could have a 3.6 unless that is cumulative from when it was first developed. They really should make the reviews on the versions. BEWARE to anyone running ICS..DON'T USE THIS APP. I only wish I had read more reviews on this site instead of some review of it on an Android forum. It took forever to backup my data to the SD card but all was backed up and could see it on the SD. Reset and formatted phone (not SD card) and reinstalled the Backup Master app. Attempted to restore any of the data from the SD card and the application just crashes. I have lost all my data. This application should be removed from the market or at least have the ability to downvote it to 0 stars until this is fixed. I understand it's a free app but I would have paid for a good app (I have bought many). I tried the free version because it had a decent review (apparently from a long time ago). Safe yourself so much grief, pain and mister. RIP my data :( I didn't make a full list of what I had installed so it's going to take me a week just to get the phone back to where I'm happy with it. This is a hard lesson learned and I hope others can benefit from it.
(New)I made the mistake of using this app again because I forgot how it didn't work the last time. I thought the developers might have fixed this by now. (Original)I used this app to backup my SMS, MMS, apps, and everything else the app would allow me to backup. I had to do a factory reset. When I tried to restore everything, it would only restore the apps. Everything else says " no backups to restore". This is after I upgraded to Jelly Bean. If anyone has any ideas, any help is appreciated.
[New Review] Recently restored my stuff from the app after backing up and then backing up again for safety and the only thing the app backed up/restored was my apps. [Original Review]Before I was able to backup everything without a hitch. Now, however, I try to change which SMS records or Apps to backup, the application crashes just after I choose what I want to backup and click 'OK'. Therefore I cannot choose what apps to backup. Not very useful if trying to save SD card space on unnecessary backup files.
When choosing restore from selected the app crashes. Same when choosing not to automatically install apps. Sms restore ok when deleting journals but not call log. Please fix this.
Did not restore SMS properly. All SMS messages were restored but the contacts were mixed up
I'm sorry, but this program is amazingly worthless. I backed up everything, loaded a new rom and it has nothing to restore. Why would you build this and it doesn't work? Good thing I backed all my stuff up to Google, app2zip and SMSbackup. Users, here are really better options out there. By the way, I rarely ever give a low rating on apps.
Galaxy S, SGH-l987: When trying to restore applications, The phone reboots. I have lost them all. Also all of the text logs Are jumbled up and the pictures are gone.
This app is good in backup and restore of app but not the sms and apn. All these become scambled after restoring.
Used this several times with great success, so this was the only backup i made when i had to send my phone in for repair....unfortunately it doesnt work with ics...im sure it will be fixed eventually, but i need a restore now
Im getting same error other person saying. Thank you so much cause i cant access anything now. And thank you google for not taking this off your market after the bad reviews.
As other posts indicate ... the app doesn't work, wastes time and messes up data. The only data it restored were SMS and those to the wrong contacts. Crashes a lot too! Worst app I ever saw!
Only restored texts, not pic messages or other apps. Mixed up text messages, names, and dates. Will have to delete all texts. Useless.

It installs backed up apps without using data in seconds. Faster in actions.
Should be taken off market. SMS all restored to wrong contacts. Mms all lost. Apps all lost. 0 stars is real rating. Zte blade sweede snow.
I tried to use this app to back up my apps because I had to replace a defective Droid. It failed EVERYTIME I tried to restore my data. Don't trust it

I downloaded this app to backup my old phone because I was replacing it with an identical model phone because of problems. This app ran for hours and when I tried to restore to the new phone the app said there was nothing to restore. I sent the error log to an email address that requested it. Please build a backup that works and lasts for a while on play store.. come on just copy the stuff to a file on the SD card with out compressing it! Just save a memory dump or something that is simple and works!
