Almost useless without paying Badi Plus, otherwise the number of matches is limited and you cannot even answer queries from interested people. The app doesn't let you add your phone number/email in the add description, forcing you to pay. The paid version is quite useful though, so it's up to you being willing to pay 10 eur
I'm giving it four stars because the sign up process was relatively easy, and the app is smooth and up to date. Unfortunately, I can't use the app because I failed to completely read the description, thus to my surprise finding out that this app is only available in some strange land called Europe. But yeah, I would use this app if I were traveling, and would recommend this app to my friends who do travel. 🙂
If I could give zero stars I would. The app allows you to register but doesn't let you log in after that. "oops there was an unknown error" seems to be the story. I've tried using a number of different emails to register, it does the same thing. Seems like a data collection app for god knows who. - Thanks for responding to my review with an email address to reach out to. I've already wasted my time sending dozens of emails and I've not gotten any responses.
The concept would be nice if it would work 🙄 but sadly nobody replies ( considering that people leave attached to the smartphone nowadays is hard to think is because they don't see the messages ) which makes the concept and app pretty much useless unfortunately..and makes you wonder if published posts are even real or verified 🤷🏽♂️
Seemed so promising, until they decided to become a new model of a real estate app agency. Charging the tenants 100 euros fee for trying to rent a single room for 3 months 😱 and not giving the option to contact de landlords without choosing to make the first payment through badi (the fee covers only the first payment as " the rest of the payments have to be coverd outside the app". There are so many better ways for finding a place! Will certainly not recommend or use it to find a home.
It's very frustrating to make a booking request and waiting 24h to get a confirmation not even knowing if the request was read/seen. Users don't respond (at least in Barcelona) and not all are verified, or have incomplete profiles (languages should be mandatory). A filter for age preference of the person who offers a room would be very useful. Lot of room to improve. *Later edit. After two days of sear hing I saw that one of users I sent the request too raised the price from 400 to 1200 Euro.
i don't know if i have a fundamental miss understanding of this app, but i could literally find no one in my area. the app looks fantastic and I would love to use it, but i just don't see any housing options/ people. I'll come back and check and see if there is literally anyone else in my state, but for the time being, there really is no point to me using this app.
I thought I finally found an app that was detailed enough to find my perfect roommate. But then after entering all of my information, absolutely NO search results popped up. I even cleared my filter. They should really specify that the app isnt going to work in chicago if that's the first bit of info I put in. What a waste if time.
The app is okay but I CONSTANTLY get recommended to people who are offering single rooms. What is the point of having the 'who is moving in?' option in the profile if it does not show up and makes no difference when I selected 'my partner and I'? It is extremely annoying, I don't think I will be using it anymore.
With the new messaging way it became impossible to find previous messages, super inefficient. Should go back to previous messaging panel asap! Update: I can't find the room enquiry as I have been offering my room to users it's lost in "pending". Please bring back the very first inbox, this is super inefficient. I don't want to see the people I offered my rooms. I want to see the ones who are in contact with me. Simple is that.
Nice looking app, however its full of clickbaity ads for rooms that possibly don't even exist anymore for agencies, which instead of booking a room, jusy try to get you to go to their offices, defeating the purpose of the app. Should have a "no agencies" option in the filters.
It would be such a useful app if it worked well. I have been trying to update a free room but it keeps on getting denied without telling me which info is incorrect so I have tried to change everything without result . Very frustrating Edit: I have sent an email 1 week ago, still no response
This app is riddled with Agents pretending to be flatmates. You see the same images for different rooms over and over again - for properties that have long been filled and are there to lure you. The agents all constantly insist you visit thier offices before seeing the property. If i wanted a traditional estate agent...i wouldn't be using this app. It's not the app designers fault per se, but they could do with clamping down on the 'verified' or trusted user status.
good but could be better The idea of the app is good, however listing do not change for weeks in the most important areas (ex: Barcelona) and a lot of people tend to ignore invites or decline to talk... probable I would choose the old fashion renting because also a lot of info is not provided ( listings with one photo:/) and why is there no filter for deposit if it is a field included in the app? Review on bug update: even with the fixes, the app still lets users to put deposit not specified...
The search makes this app unusable. You can't narrow your search down from 'London' nor can you add key words like LGBT. Shame as the rest of the app seems good. Plus all correspondence is pushing users to list a room - like they're desperate for listings. Maybe listings would go up if users could search. Also 'save search' disappears when you customise a search - the one time you need to save.
The messaging system functions very badly, the application tries to control how you communicate in order to stop you booking outside of the app. This led me to being locked out of a conversation with the only option being to request to book the apartment when I had not even been able to visit it.
It used to be a nice app, very useful to find roomates, but they decided to change their business model charging a lot of money to both, tenants and hosts. Since there are other options out there, just as or more effective as this one, I am no longer using the app.
Not at all happy with the app.. Seems like no control on the posters... All the posts are fraud especially the ones in London where I was looking for...one such poster asked me to make the payment without viewing the flat. And when I did further more research on Google. Could find the exact same pictures of the flat in Germany.
It's great in that the people looking for rooms really are. I wish I could write something to those people BADI sends as interested. As is, it's simply an invitation. There have been people whose descriptions would have matched perfectly, but no extra message can be sent to highlight some of their preferences that you know your home offer exceeds in.
It's really useful and the app even makes the process of seeking accommodation entertaining. Some of the things I hated about the app are: bills included or not should be shown at the feed of the available rooms; if the mates or landlord are not looking for a men then why showing me those rooms strictly for women? That was quite upsetting
Lost complete access to the app, I keep on getting and "unknown error". This is especially frustrating since I have just set up my profile and uploaded all the property info. Please fix!!
I began to use this app yesterday and I've been constantly spammed with messages to my lock screen. The properties they offer in London are hugely overpriced, compared to other websites and they sort of bully you with this messages while you are logged on. There are no settings to stop this so it is a direct line to the property speculators. Only useful if you have loads of money, in which case you would not use a app like this one. Uninstalling in 3, 2, 1...
communication is one sided; biased against those looking for a place. Filters could be more efficient. Saved searches won't erase, I've tried changing the parameters several times & it always returns to the very first one the day I downloaded the app. Probably better if you have a place to rent out.
