I like this app and I use it a lot... if I could make two recommendations it would be...1. make it where I can zoom in on the algorithms.. they can be hard to see when I set the phone down and pick up the Rubik's Cube....2. I have seen beginners methods that are much easier to learn for a beginner... thanks for a great happened I really like your YouTube videos.
This app is great, but for learning only the most common algorithms. There is no choice between at least 5 algorithms, and there is no choice between different methods. Would be great if VHLS and Winter Variation could be added, as well as ZBLL if you have the time.
My average dropped from 1.5min to 25sec. All thanks to badmephisto. It took a year or practice. But his tutorials are the best.
I would rate this a 3.5/5, but since I cannot do that, I will round it down to 3/5 (forgive me, all mathematicians and math professors). I think this app is good. It's more like a .pdf file than an actual app, but that shouldn't matter too much. There is no way to zoom on this, which takes off .5 stars. The algs are a bit outdated since badmephisto hasn't been active in the cubing community lately, meaning that some of these algs are slightly slower than one could with another alg. -1 star. I only use the notation section on this app for when I get confused about which way is (counter)clockwise on the slices (M, S, E) or which way is (counter)clockwise on the rotations (x, y, z). However, I'm only ever confused about x, S, and E. Other than that, the 4LLL categories are useful for beginners transforming into intermediate solvers, and well as the beginners category. Good app for those people.
This "app" is more like a big picture without the ability to zoom. Except that I would like categories and settings to hide some algorithms :) With this in mind I rather have his PDF as a shortcut on my homescreen than this
The iOS app is far better as it atleast has categories, not just an unzoomable picture. And also, in 2-Look PLL, the Y-Perm is given instead of E-Perm (BTW this mistake is also there in the iOS App). Though the content is almost perfect (other than 2-Look PLL).
This is a good tool for reference. I would pay for an app that had your oll and pll trainers. Please make it happen!
It may be just a huge a** picture you are looking at, but the things it contain are awesome! So many easy algorithms in it, I think I learnt full OLL in one hour :D
I found it through YouTube, the guy is good in solving the cube and explaining how to do it in a great way. I recommend this application and to watch the video on YouTube.
As other reviewers mention, the "app" is just a large, pannable image of the algorithms. Could use some basic organization.
Finally got badmephisto on my tab. He thought me 2 look with his videos awesome
The problem with this one is that the content is excellent yet very poorly presented. You'll be disappointed to see a single low quality imagine, accompanied with an apparently missing zoom feature. Yikes!
It is a big image. Useful algorithms, but not very user friendly. No zoom or proper scrolling.
The only thing is that I wish it had the names of the oll's and pll's next to them
When I teach people I always refer to the beginners section of this app. This is also great for intermediate and advance cubers.

A great app, really helpful when you're just looking for an algorithm that you forget. Serves the purpose well. Good for beginners, intermediate solvers (2 look last layer) and advanced.
So glad to have Badmephisto back on my phone, changed from iPhone to Android and missed it. Not as sleek as the iPhone version but good enough. Thanks
I now know some patterns because of this app and also all those cubers out there you must download this app because it can help you memorized patterns and be Kore faster at Rubik's cube contest's so good luck this app is great
For a beginner cuber, this has everything you need. Also good to have the oll and pll algorithms.
It has been months that i want to learn frederich method. I like Badmephisto's Channel make a 4x4 Rubiks Cube video please. I also want you to make a zoom-in feature. Thanks a lot for doing this.
Most of the algorithms in your app are bigger as compared to other websites also please allow zoom but still a gr8 app
I gave this app 1 star coz it Doesnt work on my phone.i use it on my mum's phone n whenever i scroll down this app just shuts off.So plz fix the bug or whatever it is coz i wanna learn f2l!!!!

Does the job but it's just 1 big image. 0 interaction. Getting a PDF might be better if you can't read this well.
Because of his app I solve my cube frequently in my down time!

What the dev has done is created a big old image of instructions and then written an app which scrolls around that image. You may prefer to just use one of the many websites with this type of content inside an app which was purpose-built for scrolling and zooming images and websites (your web browser). Dev - organize and present your content properly for the other four stars. Think menus, content broken up into separate elements, Android colour palette, etc.
