It was a great app. The problem is it is linked to the site so you gotta be careful. Almost all of the novels translated have been dropped for some reasons, a few others would be stalled, so there is no updates for those novels. I don't recommend anyone to download this app. It has been almost 6-7 months since the last update for the app. It used to be a great site to read light novels from but now there is nothing to see. Almost all of the good LN's have been dropped or abandoned.

For those having trouble accessing the light novels. Uninstall then reinstall the app before you do anything go into your settings, updates and notifications and then deactivate load app keystore. Doing that should allow you access and read all the novels available.

Its good once you find out how to actually use the app. There were no instructions whatsoever on how to find novels. Opened the app for the first time to see blank pages so i had to actually google how to use the app since there are no instructions in the app itself nor in the description of the app in the app store. But after that everything worked fine. Just wished there were more novels.

Useless app. Doesn't have any novels I want to read. It doesn't even have date a live which is advertised. I clicked on a random novel that I've never heard of, they redirected me to a web page that's asking me to register. This is absolute nonsense. Uninstalling

Pretty please have more light novels :( It is actually a good app but severely lacking in options to read. It would be nice if you could hear me out. I'll change my review to 5 when you add a sufficient amount of books to read. There actually light novels that are so good but aren't in here. I think this will do you good if you'llhear me out :) Thanks by the way.

I like it. I really wanted to read Light novels and I thank BakaReader EX for the experience. They gave it to us for free! They also give us the opportunity to download it and read it offline. You don't longer have to worry that your Mama might power off the wifi or you don't have any data if you're want to read it outside your home. It's very convinient.

Don't download this app. I just downloaded it and searched for a light novel. And it was just blank. I tried searching for the one they used in the feature pic, nothing. Worst app everrrr 🤦🏼‍♀️

i would give it five stars if it weren't missing a lot of the popular light novels that people read. i also have an issue with the fact that some of the novels you can't read directly in the app and you have to open a link and read it otherwise great app.

BakaReader is the best light novel app to date. I enjoy using the app. The downside is the error am getting for some of novels I want to read. It's showing on the official website but its not accessible through the app. Hope you guys can fix this bug!

This app is good, in fact very good! but it seriously need more novels because it's missing the most popular ones, like Danmachi, Overlord, Arifureta, Date a live and many interesting novels out there. Despite the lack of novels I'll still give a thumbs up, it'll be good though if you add more. :D

This is a verrryyyy good app. Easy to use, you just have to use your brain to see the novels. At first it's empty but you just have to refresh it click the 3 dots beside the reset botton and then you have it, all the NLs the app has. See? you got a tip without even using your brain. Jk. I just wish it has more NLs

I wanted to use the app to reread some novels from baka tsuki but it won't work. For almost all novels I wanted to read, it refuse to load saying things about trust anchor or something

Tip for new readers. There's no content to read at first when you open the app. But after selecting refresh, things become visible. Best light novel app yet on Android.

This apps used to be great and awesome until the new update where all the light novel gone and disappear, u can't update, can't download nor read them. this apps just empty and they never respond to my issues

My first light novel app, in the early years. I can read it anywhere online or offline, such a convenience but after some time it could not load chapters anymore it's empty. I'm giving it a 3 stars since it gave good service before

Terrible interface, slow and makes no sense. Seems to be just a wiki to links of text. No way to read in the app itself?

It did not even show me any novels to read, it was empty. Even after refreshing it, it didn't show anything. When searching it comes up empty.

Loved it. It has everything you need in an app like this. But the only issue I'm facing is that the libraries are too small, add more novels please.

It appears that this app has been abandoned. Has been over a year since the last update. And It's been broken for me since the last phone OS update.

Used to be my platform to read novels but it stopped working, only using it to read novels that already downloaded. Gotta find another platform after finishing the novels.

I know support isn't a paid position but geez. There's no need to get sassy after 2 simple questions. I understand that the person might be having a bad day but I'd prefer just getting no response rather than that.

i really want to like this app but i cant seem to find anything in the search. i move to the actual search section, and it shows that it loads but doesn't ever have results

overall, need improvement.. need more choices.. need better interface.. need theme search.. has a lot of potential wasted

After searching for the lightnovels I was searching for was not there at all. I gave up... it's good but lacks the update of the Lightnovels...

This app has stopped working i don't know how long so either fix it or make a better version of it, cause it was a really good app in the past.

Good app for reading LN's, but its missing a basic, but huge, feature: Categories / Genre search.

Absolute garbage, it has no books and the screen is just black. Nothing to see here. :(

Was a great app. Doesn't work anymore. Last updated in 2018.
