Bakery Story™

I've been coming back every so often throughout the years. The issue I have been noticing is that some of my appliances are becoming invisible with the exception of the book that lets you know that the appliance is available and the food that is cooking on it. When I want to use items that I have in storage from prior years it requires me to get more tools to use it again which is unfair because I already completed creation of the appliance before. I can't access food or appliance goals anymore.

Slight issues with the game crashing, along with other things due to its age. Also, the in app purchases are pretty ridiculous, but not necessarily needed, so it's a non-issue. Extremely addictive, perfect amount of complexities and customization.

I've been playing it for years but the goals have honestly recently gotten to hard. I don't understand why they had to update them so that they require more pieces to build ovens and for you to serve more food. I've noticed alot of other players talk about this issue too. Please make it a bit easier so we can all keep up. Edit: goals have gotten harder 😓.

i do wish the developers would return to make their game a perfect one for me to give 5 stars but the goals for downloading other games are too excessive, gifts to send take terribly long to scroll through esp for food items where it was previously at the front. these are the only two qualms ive had since playing way back. it wasn't the case before. this is really the perfect game for me but i guess it does have its downsides.

I'm only giving 3 stars because the game hasn't really changed much since I played back in 2010. I was unable to retrieve my old account so I made a new one whiched sucked but I got over it. The things I wish would be updated are; we should be able to sell all items that we purchase especially walls and floors(I have so many I dont want), there should be tabs for the gifts so we could easily find the gift we want to send, and the goals have gotten ridiculously hard to finish in time without gems

Game used to be fun. Now you can't even finish a goal with all the parts you need just for 1 oven and it's glitchy. Now it's more of an ordeal. Been playing for years but can't see me continuing because of this. The new dishes dont look as good as they used to either. Developers don't care and you can tell.

I liked it a lot more years ago, when it had no ads, when pop ups when you first started up the game weren't as intrusive and frequent. With that being said, I understand ads are very helpful when you're producing a free to play game, so I don't mind having to watch ads IF I choose. Playing on a tablet I feel like most of the buttons are too small, I accidentally clicked to speed up a recipe because the options were small and the pop up was delayed so I double clicked (I wasn't trying to speed it up, I was trying to pick up the experience). Lost my last five gems. Tried to make those gems back by watching ads and could only make back three as quite frequently I watch the ad through and then exit and it tells me the ad didn't finish. I can watch the whole entire ad to speed up a recipe and it doesn't speed it up at all. I'd like to know about the ad glitches please.

This game's really fun. It's especially a great thing to be playing during quarantine, and it's really good for teaching people how to plan ahead of time. However, there some glitches where my food is baking but when it's supposed to be done sometimes it says I haven't made it yet, and when the food that was already served didn't magically keep baking (and eventually spoil 3/4 of the time), which is irritating. I'd also like it if there's longer time for goals. Please fix and i'll give 5 stars!

I've been a faithful player of this game for many years. There's something about the simplicity of the game and it's relaxing nature that brings me back for more! However as of recently there have been way to many glitches. For example, I'm trying to complete the "Whimsical World" challenge from the character Natasha however when I go to the store to by the tiles and wallpaper they are nowhere to be found! Also We need more time to complete some of these challenges! 1/26/21-still no big fix

The sync issue is really bad which causes you to lose food you started or changes made. I find I'm closing the game and opening just to make sure my food is still baking, especially during goals. Very annoying because it happens over and over again!!!! I've also lost gems that I cant get back and have requested from developer but they couldn't care less. It's a shame because this used to be a fun game. Now it's just incredibly annoying. Don't waste your time getting sucked in!

Love this game...have had it on my devices several times over the years. Love that you don't have to spend money on it to play...many things will just take more time to advance but I can live with that. I have noticed more pop up ads for their other games more than they used to...sometimes I feel like the goals could be a little better and I wish old appliances from past goals would either be available or cleared off the game as there's so much content locked up with no option to use in this.

There are so many ways to make this game even better. I loved it so much on my older phones, but on Android it's a struggle to play in large part to needing an update. Gameplay is simple and the art style is great. Mechanically, it is playable but little features like better decoration organization and placement would enhance the experience. On Android you can't even place things repeatedly without hopping back into the menu. It's a real hassle. Also, PLEASE LESS ADS!!

I absolutely love this game, but ever since I started playing again I haven't been receiving notifications that my food is ready. I've tried checking, and unchecking the notifications box in game, and doing the same for the app in my phone. I've restarted my phone, and still no notifications. I've had a lot of food go bad, but other than that the game is amazing! It's very entertaining, and fun to decorate your bakery.

Used to love this game when I was young, it needs to be gone through for bugs and just to add more things to the gameplay. Downloaded it again recently and it worked fine at first, but suddenly food that I'm trying to make keeps disappearing, notifications are not working, etc. There is a new bakery story but I don't like that one as much, I much prefer this style. Should've just kept updating the first game, people still want to play it. Same goes for restaurant story.

Glitches a lot. This is an older version with no update so it causes glitches. I don't receive any notifications even tho I've changed my settings. I have to shut down and restart every time. Goals are difficult to complete. Not enough time allowed. I've played this game for several years and never had these many issues. It takes forever to earn enough to expand. When the game works it's a fun way to kill time.

I like playing but I hate the fact that it is so easy to accidentally hit a button without some type of confirmation for example accidentally hitting the "skip" button during a goal and losing SO MANY gems and the support team doesn't even assist with such problems! It should not be that easy to have things taken away that you work hard for and/ or pay for! A complete rip-off

The game is definitely entertaining but the gameplay is questionable at times. For starters, I don't like how they don't have confirmations when you're about to buy things because I just wasted 24 gems on this package for an item that I had no interest in. I also wish that you can preview an item before you buy it even if you don't have enough coins/gems for future planning. Another thing is tipping, it should be more efficient and take less time. Maybe there should be a "Next Neighbor" button.

I love these games!!! I have multiple Storm8 games and have been playing for years across multiple devices and accounts. I would have given this game 5 stars except that when choosing neighbors to send gifts and ask for help is tiring and just takes too much time. I have a lot of friends so sending gifts and asking for materials takes forever. It would be awesome if there were a way to select all neighbors with just one click instead of clicking each one individually.

My experience is just like everyone else's in these reviews. I have been an on and off player for 5 years now, game has not changed at all. While it's good it has the nostalgic feel, it's also boring. I cook my food, serve, tend to my neighbors, then leave the app. The syncing issue is just as bad as people said. I'm trying to finish this goal of King's Sweet dish that takes 22 hours to cook. As of 2 days now, the syncing issue caused the dish to restart 3 times. Restaurant story is worse.

It's glitching, reloads everything I do as if I didn't make changes or touched anything. It gets stuck on the loading screen when you click on any option. Frustrating. I've played this almost 10 years ago and re-download it lost my old progress of course. Buy lately these past two weeks there's been issues all around the app. It needs to be fixed.

I havent been able to play in the last 6 days now, which means I'm losing out on the challenges. I'm losing out on gaining things. please fix the issues it won't even open. I'm very disappointed in the game developers for not responding to me at least. I worked hard to get where I'm at and I'm losing everything. I had to create a new account & start over. Other than this issue, this is a great game that free to play! When the issue with it gets fixed my 2 stars will go to 5 stars.. but for now⭐⭐

It's good for an occasional play... I quite like the simplicity of the characters etc. BUT... there aren't enough recipes with short times on them, there's way too many that take 8+ hours. There should be a way to organise the available recipes so they're displayed in order of how long they take. And I've got 4 seperate tasks that require me to buy stuff that isn't even available, one of the things is apparently locked as a goal item, and the other 3 items needed for the other tasks don't exist.

I love the idea of this game. I have the game on my iPhone and love it! But the android version has way too many bugs and seems to keep getting worse. It keeps bringing up past goals like spam popping up on the screen. It has gotten so bad now that even resetting the app doesnt help. Fix this and it will be great!

I've been playing this game off and on again for years and somehow I always manage to go back to it!Very fun and addictive, and you get to meet really nice people through the challenges! Great game to pass the time and kind of a stress reliever too! highly recommend! The only thing I'd add to the game is a "select all" feature to gift all of your neighbors at once instead of one by one because that's a little time-consuming, and recently I'm having issues with no notifications popping up app wise

I really liked this game. Lots of really neat challenges and I enjoy the decorations. Well, I had a situation happen in life and I was unable to play for awhile... logged back on and found that you cant play a challenge EVER again if you missed it. So certain items are locked and you can never win them. Some ovens are worthless to build because the food items are locked due to a challenge. I absolutly HATE this and think they should open past quests for people.

I have no clue why no one has fixed the issues with this game. It's very upsetting because it used to be a great game. The funny thing is that the ads to buy more coins or gems is still advertised & there's no guarantee that what you'll purchase will go through. And my food keeps disappearing! Both the cooking & the served dishes! Definitely has gone down hill. If anyone's reading these, please fix the bugs.

I love this game! It is so much fun to pass the time. However, I have some issues. My game randomly disconnects from the server which then undos anything I did on the last few minutes such as setting up food on the oven or drink maker. Or sometimes I will come check on my food, and it won't be making anymore since the game disconnected from the server. Also, I never get any notifications from the game at all. Notifications are set up through the app and in settings and nothing. Please fix!

I've played this game 6 years. Now it has so many bugs. On my phone some days i can't do anything because it keeps restarting ither times it has so many pop ups that i cant ay till i restart it. Now it wont tell you when the food is done so you can make more causing the food to go bad and missing the challenge. I've contacted them only to get it sent back unanswered. Several of my friends quit because of it. I'm so disappointed in it now.

While this game is a lot of fun to play and the design is super cute I'm just really confused as to why I'm not able to purchase goal ovens. I tap on the clipboard where the goals are and tap "buy" and the arrow is point to said oven but I still can't buy it! It's extremely frustrating because I can't participate in the challenges and those ovens are so damn cute! :(
