Pretty good, just wish there was some more options to collect bakugan other than leveling up. You'll get a few hours at most out of it, it's fairly accurate to the reboot. But it'd be cool to have a non-paying loot box system to collect rare bakugan. Once you beat it, there's little incentive to reopen the app.
Graphics are OK, battle systems a little meh but ok, story line 0 stars there isn't one. No multi play, no pvp, just a very short text based mission screen. Not even a practice mode. Its Just lacking in playable content. They have content galore about the series, but it kinda seems like a fan site not a game..... idk hopefully updates bring something worth it. Kinda ready to unistall at this point only had the game since yesterday already almost beat it....
The app seems to have the potential to be awesome for not just Bakugan fans alone. However, it feels incomplete, it almost made turn away from actually collecting before I had to look up the TCG version myself. Pros: -Wish List/Collection is a nice addition Cons: -No online play -App is slow -Doesnt feel as fun or represents TCG -Progression feels tedious Suggestion: -Implement online play using our physical toy and make it TCG Please Spinmaster make this app the best app ever!! Thank you
The game is good and all but literally it has no tutorial so everything is confusing and I have no idea how to do anything plus the graphics are so horrible it looks like the game when it was first made and by first made I mean still being made it looks like trash and there's no tutorial so nobody even knows how to play the game
I've been super excited for the return of Bakugan. I got the app after watching Negative Legend's videos and I must say I'm enjoying it. I definitely like the ability to play the game in-app. The layout is smooth and the graphics are pretty good, but I will say that sometimes selections won't register right away (though this is a minor issue). Honestly, I'm even more excited now and I hope that someday there is a fully fledged Bakugan app where you can play the full game (like YugiOh or Vanguard)
The game is not the same as the real life one. I was expecting actual battles with the cards and not some rolling chance game. Similar to beyblade, but its a random chance you hit the right spot. There is no multiplayer option, just NPCs. Level system with unlocking bakugans to play with is unbalanced. No story or lore during gameplay either. The upside is the infomation it has on bakugan, and a check/wish list for collecting the real life products.
Make it more like the battle brawlers wii game the original one, with a proper story mode and include a multilayer mode. Introduce game cards so tnat battles are so easily won or lost, and include those mini game modes as part of the fight sequences to make the game much more competitive, fun and skill based, lots of potential and would bring back so much of the bakugan fan base.
Besides my issues with the patcher (which i struggled with for more than a day) i finally got it set up and got to play. the baku brawl mode is a lot of fun but i can see people running out of content on that pretty quickly. can you add a mode that has random opponents or perhaps a PvP mode? thanks for replying by the way it shows you guys care
Great app, some issues but its to be expected this early. I noticed the video titles in the Tv episodes and Webisodes tabs say "Lorem ipsum dolor amet consectetur" and trying to open them freezes the app making me force close it. Don't know what thats all about but other than that its working great, hope to see more updates soon.
Developers fixed the bug that was freezing the download process, it works now. 4/5 stars due to how long it took them to fix the problem. It seems to be a pretty large file for such a small amount of features in this app.
I played the Gameplay demo one time, nothing wrong with it, then when I shut down my phone, turned it on, opened the app, go to gameplay and It takes me back to the homepage when it tries to load. Please fix this
The app is pretty useful even if you are not a geek for bakugan. However what I was expecting is online fights with others AND me being able to scan the bakugan I got physical version of so I can INSTANTLY use it in the game. Can be the option to scan it every time you wanna use it in battle. I realize it probably wont happen but then..whats the point of having the app if I cant battle other real life humans. We might have to change the rules a bit for obvious reasons but everything else is good.
Easy to use and a quick and basic way to settle that bakugan fever after a certain point it takes awhile to lvl up but thats all video games can't wait for the physical game to release to the world been playing the og bakugan since it cane out in like 08 or 09 just wished they added cards to the apps battle system for a bit more complexity but it settles that bakugan craving if have one right now good job spin master and thxs for bringing back the series the right way #BAKUGANBRAWL
So little content. More than a few of my physically collected Bakugan are missing from the app or they arent updated to the new versions. No pvp and no way to collect more Bakugan other than leveling up/paying money and no incentive to keep playing once youve beating the game.
Need to implement a PVP mode playing against the bots are getting a little repetitive. Some other things that might want to add gacha system for bakugan, equipment, etc. In game currency to buy/earn gacha tickets. A way to level up bakugan and equipment because once you reach the max level you'll wont be playing with the lower rank ones anymore. After grinding for levels to just dump them for higher power ones is disheartening.
I just uninstall the game once when I saw the tutorial which looking like trash. If all I'm doing is just tossing the monster onto the field and not doing any battling except for my point I might as well play the slingshot monster Ball
It's pretty cool but I think multiplayer would be a nice touch, maybe an interactive map like the Wii version, I just think it's too easy, it's a knock off Yu-Gi-Oh more less so why not make it multiplayer and get more people into it, who knows we might see more Bakugan in stores if this game becomes more recognized, Yu-Gi-Oh is great and all but they got stupid with the pendulums, Bakugan still hasn't been ruined and it can be saved with a big enough fan base
I like it but it has many problems loading suddenly stops before that it would freeze and I can't go to anything like I taped on games and it wouldn't do anything you just got to fix some taping and loading issues basically
i like it,i love the game, but has unfair battles and half of the buttons work. first"when you get to level 6,you fight masoto, which bakugan way stronger than you and has 1000 HP! you are not gonna beat him unless you are an expert! thats unfair! second, the buttons half work. whenever i try to fight someone,it just doesnt work. you select who you want"but it just doesnt go to the screen how many times you do it,and if you do get to that screen, the fight button does the same thing!
There really isn't much to do with this app. The Brawl game starts to get repetitive really quickly, there isn't a lot of news updates. What would make me like this app more is if the Brawl resembled the TCG - instead of just rolling Bakugan hoping they'll stand on a BakuCore with B-power increase, we should also be able to construct decks and play cards.
I think its amazing and i really like the bakulog and the fact that you can keep a list of ones you want to get and ones you already have but when you try to find ones you have, some dont appear like for example ive got a diamond viperagon but it wont let me choose that one to add to my list and other variations of some bakugan also wont appear
Fun minigames, lots of informative articles, runs well and has a great collection feature. Pressing back doesn't close the app properly though.
Needs more engaging features, like quizes for the TCG in order to help new players practice the basic rules on their own time on the go even away from their game pieces. Also a Online TCG app would be really cool and appreciated.
The app is pretty cool. The brawls are cool ,but repetitive and give little experience so it's hard to get new bakugan. Im level 9 and have put 4 hours into it. Most players will find the experience grindy.
I played with the original bakugan back when they first came out. I've want to get back into the game and this app has help with learning how the new game is played MOSTLY. I wish the app would show us how the cards are used in the game instead of just the tiles.
Not good. The game feels very rushed and incomplete. No tutorial. No real "story mode" does not explain what things do. Beasts are unlocked by leveling up, no searching, no random finds. Does not even attempt to explain the differences between beasts. I played for 10 minutes and then uninstalled. I hoped for it to be a good game, ended up terribly disappointed.
