Most of the time the app doesn't record the readings. It is paired with the machine and it displays that it is transferring data, but when I go look for the record it is missing. I then have to enter it in manually. This doesn't happen every time, about 50/50 I would say. Sometimes taking a second reading makes it record.

This app does pretty good at displaying blood pressure and pulse data from the cuff device. However, at some point in the last few months, an update or change to the app makes the Bluetooth connection to the Android phone very sporadic. It used to be almost an instant transfer. Now, sometimes it connects and sometimes it doesn’t and sometimes it takes a very very long time to transfer the blood pressure reading from the cuff device to the phone. There is also a lot of room for additional fields for this app; how about, after transferring the bp reading, it allows fields for manual entry of temperature, blood oxygen, weight, and other vital numbers?

Used this app together with a Greater Goods blood pressure cuff to do daily measurements for two months to get a better idea of what my blood pressure range is under normal conditions. Getting everything set up was straightforward and I didn't encounter any issues, apart from some minor glitches with the spreadsheet export that have since been fixed, or that can be worked around. This app is quite basic, which was fine with me since I was analyzing the data elsewhere. Still, it would be nice if the charts on the main screen were a bit more useful, and if there was some notion of repeat measurements.

Does not sync data properly. I took a few measurements over the course of a week without using bluetooth. After a week when I went to sync the data the number transferred fine, but the dates did not. All of my measurements were given a new time stamp at the time of sync. Meaning that my 10 measurements over the course of a week became 10 measurements over the course of 3 minutes. I am unable to "fix" becaus it will not let me change the date of auto synced items. Very disappointed.

This app was working perfectly until the latest update. Now it just hangs at the splash screen with the beating heart and I can't add readings or see any of my previous data. Very disappointing. Have tried uninstalling and reinstalling but that doesn't help. UPDATE: Prompt response from the developer, whose diagnosis was entirely correct, and all is now well. Phew!

Received as a present this week, tried syncing it to my Note 9 and my wife's Galaxy S9 (both have the latest firmware and sync flawlessly with other BT devices). The app wouldn't sync with the device on either phone. Cuff works great and we've manually tracked our BP data this week, but it's supposed to have Bluetooth capability and apparently doesn't work on all phones, even the most popular ones.

Initially, I couldn't get the device to connect to the app. Then it worked! And now it's back to not working. I wouldn't mind, except it seems to be deciding which readings do and don't make sense and only showing the sensible readings in the history--unless I use the default time. Then the "what are these blood pressure shenanigans?"-type readings show. Hopefully the developers will fix this soon!

Unreliable. Recently been having some critical blood pressure issues and it has stopped syncing to my phone. Sometimes the app opens as if I've never used it before and forces me to log in again and again. But now it just won't sync at all even after removing and adding it back. This is more of a hassle than a convenience. Completely let me down when I need it the most. Go with another Brand. But I guess if you're reading this, you already bought it. Good luck to you.

Just started using this machine and app. I like the compact digital unit and data saving app. I also have the better goods bathroom scale. They work the same ans are easy to use. I recommend having the app open and nearby as I don't think I get days without the phone handy saved and recorded from the memory. Overall I think they are really good products and their support is really good too. MC SF

Overall useful app, but it has few limitations : no sync with Google Fit, cannot receive measurements from the device while in the background - you have to have it open on the phone while measuring your blood pressure. Also seems to lose pairing with the device regularly, have to be reconnected

The app is very easy to use but doesn't give you a lot of information other than the readings. They have had an integrations section for at least the last 18 months I've been using this app but does not actually link to any health or wellness app. It would be great to have the info from this app imported to Fit, LG Health, or Samsung Health. At the very least, get rid of the integrations menu option that does nothing.

I am not the best with phones so it wasn't a surprise that I was having trouble like others trying to connect. I am not even sure were I think I found the solution but As I was searching around in The Bluetooth section or the app section I saw an option to turn on permission to sync with the device. I know that is not a detail solution but see if that helps.

This is a great app!! Once you figure out how to connect via Bluetooth that is. Found out that you have to check App permissions for Balance Health and make sure they are not disabled. You will just spin your wheels if you don't do this. Not everyone will run into this problem, it depends on what you have set as default on your phone's settings. Anyway, had to call the support phone number and they are great. After explaining that the instructions on the booklet and the website video did not help get a successful pairing they right away had me do what should have come naturally, check all settings and there I immediately realized that the permissions were disabled for the Balance Health App. Problem solved! Do not judge this app by the negative reviews. Ask for help and all will be fine.

Unfortunately the bluetooth is not well implemented for an Android phone. It seems to work much better on a apple phone. Unless they can fix this issue I would not recommend this item for purchase. The blood pressure function works ok and it will be retained in memory, but not available in your phone. 😩
