I am friendly person and i love to communicate with different nationality and exchanging ideas,culture,work experience. So one of my favorite is the onboarding feature gives me opportunity to meet,welcoming the new teammates and while also getting all their paperwork done in a very efficient way."Very easy life for employees and employer.
Logs out too easily. Problems interfacing with finger print ability. Having default project choice would be quite helpful.
Bad UX. Flow is far from optimal. Not any better than it's web version. Lacks a lot of flexibility.
Not a great app at all, half the time it doesn't load and you can't go in and amend holiday, you have to delete it and start again!
It's a great idea but it feels like I should be able to do more like fill out sick pay forms
This app needs a lot of work. It is new and that is very noticeable as items do not have UX thought out. In order to be in this market, the mobile functionality will need a major overhaul and quickly so that they are not left behind. Just looking at the numbers displayed on the calendar will help you see that the app is poorly thought out.
It won't load after the thumb. Press and goes in circles for about 20 or 30 times then let's me in ? . I cleaned out cache etc but it'okay.. But over all good . Whish more team members used the system instead....
Gives me the following error "sorry, you need to be connected to the internet." but my phone is connected to a working Wi-Fi network and even on cellular data it will not connect. Very disappointing.
Not my favorite. For instance, as a new-hire I was unable to clock in. I did not have the option available, HR had not enabled it. Something as simple as "Timeclock Not Activated" would have been a Godsend. Also, I am not paid for unscheduled work minutes if I clock in early and I am not paid if I clock in late, but there's no clock on the app to tell you when to clock in and my phone clock does not sync with the app clock. Showing a clock face in the app would tell me when I can clock in.
Much easier than navigating the browser version!
"Can't log in, must be connected to the internet." Okay but I am connected to the internet. I even showed my boss and she was just as confused as I was.
Let's see. I didn't get payed until after Easter Weekend. Completely embarrassed due to me not having my end of the financial obligations to go a be apart of an event in Keystone SD. All because no ne from eighter company, exponent/bamboo bothered to make sure EVERYONE ON PAYROLL RECEIVED THIER MONEY!!!!! CARE JUST ENOUGH ABOUT OTHERS AND WHAT THEY THEMSELVES CARE ABOUT EVEN IF YOU CANT STAND THE SITUATION OR PERSON. YOU GUYS WILL BE RECIEVING THE OVERDRAFT FEES FROM MY BANK SOO!N!
I have to log in every time I start the app or even just switch to another app and then back to BambooHR. Because the Google login is opened in a Chrome tab my browser keeps filling up with those log in tabs. This started when I switched on the "fingerprint" feature in the app. Neither clearing data & cache nor uninstalling and reinstalling the app fixed the issue. On another note, while the web interface still has company defined background colors, in the app it's all black and white now. Apart from those things I've been and still am happy with the app. The log in issue currently makes it hardly usable, though.
Great and easy way to keep informed of upcoming events and signing forms required! Very easy to navigate thru.
My work is dumb for using a stupid app for hr. Edit- bunch of thing, the app and webportal don't share features. Also I want the ability to turn off email notifications. And the other isn't your fault, I feel my work is being lazy.
Quick, clean, easy! Very impressed by the easy to navigate interface.
It's just okay. I would like to be able.to communicate with my peers and with my manager through the app. Can we add an option to send a message to someone?
Apart from taking 20 hours to get a password link the app itself cuts parts of the wording
This app mostly works well for what I need, but I can't give it a full fine stars because it can't seem to figure out on it's own when it's out of sync so I have to force close it on almost a daily basis to get it to work right. Many times when I go back into it it just cycles over and over on the loading screen, or if I've clocked in/out on another device it won't recognize that; I have to force close to fix both. Really hope this gets fixed some day.
So far I think it's ok. I'm positive this is only to be improved upon, but I really do like how it gives you a personal look with the rest of your coworkers because of the profile. It really does solve our biggest problem as a whole company which is "Communication. With BambooHR you have usually multiple ways to contact anyone at work and easily found too. Excellent App.
App is only useful to schedule time off. Only shows a fraction of what I see on computer. I have missed out on health insurance enrollment and other things because this app only shows a few things. I had no idea until recently that the app was different from what I can access and view through a desktop. I hate it. What is the point of it?
Work well. Everything u need all in one spot, easy to understand and navigate the APP
While it is convient for HR, I have not seen something so complicated; okay, well maybe a little exaggerated. The view / features have little in common between the web and mobile, and there is conflicting information between the help center and me trying to actually cancel a vacation day. The help center also shows clickable buttons which I do not have. I decided to use that day I wanted to cancel as a rest day.
I need a password to log in which I haven't got. Click forgotten password, does not send a link to my email so I can generate one!
Only problem I have is that can not see when other persons are going off on vacation only the persons that are supervised by me.
Update: still the same issue as below. After the update the app is now extremely slow, jittery and eventually becomes unresponsive. It crashed when moving to the Employees tab. After moving to My Info tab it freezes completely and I have to kill the app. Was any testing done at all?
At present it's dysfunctional, no support to fix issues with missing features to manage teams which may be due the company just onboarding this system but the issue it's dysfunctional for me still remains after a week. It would appear the company is not fully conversant with this system and struggling to set people up with the right adminstration needed to manage their teams, my view still stands that it's a totally dysfunctional system with Bamboo clearly not giving the support needed.
