I like the app. The issues I have may be more with the overall Banc First on line system than the app itself. I had to call them multiple times to activate the mobile deposit feature in the app. Only one person in oklahoma can do that. There is a fee for on-line bill payment unless there are three or more recurring payments (my previous bank had no fee at all for this service).
Wonderful, easy, convenient, safe, and user friendly. I do wish they would use the name of the place you used your card and their Telephone number and address 100% of the time. As there have been times when a descepency arrives they can't say who made the charge in your account. A person should be able to stop someone from making reoccurring charges to your account with the app without the place of business having to do it. It's their money...
So I've always liked the app, but I'm taking one star off my review until the app stops closing for inactivity every time I attempt to deposit a check. It happens when I take a picture of the check. Sometimes the front, sometimes the back. Finally made it work by exiting the deposit screen after taking the front pic and checking my balance before going back to the deposit screen
I just have a problem with sometimes it takes awhile to get the amount that's in my account, transfers and deposits are real good. And check deposits by phone is a little time consuming but that's not the apps issue its the checks themselves and I like the security of how picky it is.. thanks guys.. you all do a great job and the bank in yukon has hands down been very helpful and went extra mile to get me my issues resolved for 4-5 years now..
This is the nastiest app. I am have considered switching banks multiple times based on how inconvenient this app has been to us and it looks like the day has finally come. After having to redo my finger print for other reasons my account needed me to confirm my password which I thought was no big deal.. until I used the "forgot password setting" an hour later and 12 attempts the temporary password screen locks up and wont proceed the the next screen. I'm done I give up on this trash app.
The removal of fingerprint login has been one of the most baffling changes that I can't see a reason for. It took what was otherwise an okay app into one that is useless for someone who uses complex/random passwords.
Update. Now it doesn't show any of my pending charges. I normally don't bother with receipts because I could see instantly what was pending. Why do they keep making a good app worse? Do not like the new transaction view. It was grouped by date each day making it easier to balance my checkbook. Now it is just all transactions and harder to read.
overall app is alright but dated, mobile deposit is the absolute worst compared to chase banking app and other's, super easy to activate features with additional charges by mistake compared to the website. little to know warrning or way to deactivate witbout going into a local branch or calling. I use it just for chrcking balance and notification at this point and nothing else.
Pretty good app, but Mobile check deposit is a little buggy. On checks that have the "For mobile deposit only" check box on the back, the app usually doesn't recognize it. The workaround is to manually write, by hand "For mobile deposit" on the back of the check. This is a little annoying but works just fine. I just wish the OCR was a little better so you don't have to write out "For mobile deposit" on the back of every check you deposit. Only an issue if you deposit a lot of checks...
We move often, to different states. This app is awesome! Convenient, easy to use, and any time I have a question I can use Chat or call and the staff of BancFirst are always respectful, efficient, helpful, and pleasant to interact with.
Fast and easy to use!!! Everytime i need to transfer money from my checking to savings or vise versa, it's directly at my fingertips!! Love that!! ❤ Bancfirst is just a great bank and knowing that their app is coded and maintained to satisfy as well Is just amazing!!!
Before Bancfirst took over my bank they had an app that was very easy and accurate and I was able to keep my company cards watched because it told me which card made what charge and when and where. I am not able to keep up with my company cards because this app does not except tell me inaccurate totals and makes it impossible to keep my accounts from getting over drawn. I never know if the balance is with or without the pending charges it is horrible
It has been so convenient to make saving easy! I manage multiple accounts easily ie checking or savings as well as adding money to kids, grandkids accounts in event emergency or just for something fun to do! Easy to verify purchases and ensure security of transactions.
Camera function to snap shot of check is sub par and I had to make several attempts before acceptance of the check. I also lost functionality for fingerprint login for as of 6/3/20. This app is fair but it takes days for checks to process and credit to my balance. I use this account for my business and the delays are intolerable. I don't know if the delays are related to the app or BancFirst. Our personal account is with our Credit Union and we get instant credit using their app.
Sometimes I have experienced it not being quite "real time" and would get an overdraft the day before a deposit was made. If I had know something was going thru I would have transferred money to cover it until deposit went thru. That is why I hate automatic debits.
I really appreciate online banking until this July 31 when I did bill pay and my gas bill for $69.00 did not get paid. Billpay history said was completed but didn't have record and I got late charges and a double bill this month. Although was tagged complete but never debited account. I can screw it up by myself don't need excess help. Thanks alot.
I would say this app is very user friendly. I can access what I need easily and find out information involving my account in addition to educational information they have. They have a few extras that help you understand and better control your finances as well. Can't ask for much more!
Was a lot better when the finger print scanner could be used to open the app. now you gotta put your info in every time just to do a quick check.
would give it a five star but i know it is a security feature they have but makes it difficult for me to have to change my password as often as they have you change it everything else is great. especially to see different account transfer money deposit checks mobile and to freeze debit cards if you loose or miss place you card. great bank and mobile app. for me the app would be PERFECT if it asked me if i wanted to change my password instead of forceing me to change it.
Great app for my banking needs. Everything is easy to find if you know exactly what your looking for and how to navigate the menu. If recommend it for anyone looking for quick glances at your finances
The mobile check deposit is awful with taking pictures, looks as if I were taking an X-ray of it, took me 5 times to get it to show what it needed to. Otherwise app is good so far- my first time after transferring from Chase
This app I so easy to use. I am of the generation of people who have a hard time changing ways of doing things especially when it comes to matters of technology. I've written checks to pay bills my while life. I didn't want anything to do with paying bills online. But I started doing it with the Bancfirst app and it is a game changer! Thank you for this app.
Easy, convenient and secure...love that. It asked to rate ads in app....I have not expirenced any and certainly hope I dont...that would not feel secure to have an ad pop up while looking through my account
This app is really easy to use and convenient. They are always updating to improve the app and it's capabilities without changing the appearance. That's a bonus in my book.
All the amazing features you could want in a banking app, this one has it all! Money management, mobile check cashing, budgeting, direct deposit, sync with other accounts to better budget your money... just about anything you could possibly need, they've put it in the app for customer convenience! I'm glad I chose this bank for my financial services. 👏😌
