Its ok. Pros- makes it really easy to keep the office up to date with current job progress and its a easily navigated app most of the options are self explanatory. Cons- im constantly having to close and reopen the app to get it to load pages the app seems to double post frequently and load times are kinda slow lately the pages are loading up as blank pages and i have to close the app and re open it to get it to load (edit-- the app is quickly becoming the bane of my existence)
Overall easy, efficient and useful! I like that it is easy to manage a lot of tasks in one place. Two things I would like to see added is admin rights to assign/remove roles; as needed, and admin ability to move photos between albums; as well as input your own album dates
This app is the worst. I download it for our kids dance classes in order to watch the live stream. For the first few months it worked just ok. Over the past few weeks it constantly freezes. Only way to get it to work is to force stop the app and go back in. Even then you can only watch a minute or two before it happens again. I cleared cache and even uninstalled and reinstalled the app. I am not the only one with this issue. There are multiple parents in the dance class that have this problem.
Needs work. Downloaded because high school athletic coaches chose it to comm. Will get notices that there is a new message or post, then when you select it to read, and the app opens to a blank page with hour glass spinning forever. Takes three or four tries to get things to open after that.
Not receiving push notifications. All are enabled but not functional. Can't enable email either. The app has lots of useful info but it would be great if I didn't have to go dig for new activity every day. Not a fan. Can't find any way to report to support either. 👎
I love this app. I've used it for years and it makes communicating with my students and parents super easy and keeps our schedule up to date in a neat and organized manner. Super SIMPLE TO USE AND FUN!!!!!
Just to check, I'm using Vivo smart phone to do live streaming with the group. Always, auto zoom in out. When I switched to Xiaomi, I don't experience that? Why such situation? Kinda of annoying to have video with auto zoom/focus. And nothing to do with video settings with Vivo.
Love this app! I've been using it for over a year to manage our Adventure Guides group and have convinced many other circles in our expedition to move to this app. It has everything we need and is WAY BETTER than alternative apps for this type of group organization (sports teams, clubs, volunteer groups, scouts, etc). The only things preventing a 5 star rating are related to (1) editing posts is wonky, (2) need ability for admins to edit posts, (3) we need subfolders. Please contact me!
I have not encountered any real problems using the app yet. Great way to keep family and friends informed of a variety of things such as birthdays and sports schedules.Easier than trying to contact everyone with all the information that needs to be shared sometimes.
Hi, Why the screen black out for few seconds and appear again few times in a minute. It is quite irritating and spoiling the Live and saved video. Pls assist. Thanks
My front camera works fine in the camera app but in this app it flashes for awhile then goes black. Turning off auto contrast in system settings doesn't help. AT&T Fuze.
The app is fine I guess. It might be ok if you need lots of functionality, but our group rarely uses anything besides text posts which means I'd rather be on discord. But I can't stand the Band App notices and tips that send me push notifications intermixed with the actual group notifications. I've turned off every setting I can find and they still shove tips and "2021 Best Leader Awards" in my face. Make it stop.
I like the style of BAND. Even though it's just another club app that is really good for sports, it is still great because I can communicate easily with instructors and other members.
Excellent app for a private group. Only downfall is storage. Not like other free social media apps. This lacks large storage space and your video expire after a while, and is no longer accessible. 👎Also, you cab not share on other platforms that easy. Would also be good to be able to link payment buttons to the app.
Excellent project, Easy to use and very simple. And no ads. And mining automatically. Overall nice job.
This app has come a long way. The improvements made, along with the new look, has really made it one of my most go to for anything group related. Awesome job guys!
Really cumbersome to use and unintuitive. Lots of useless notifications that are annoying (nominate band leaders); not sure how to turn that and other notifications off and only keep the ones that are related to the team; settings unclear. Sign up feature is lacking functionality. Would not recommend for sports team use.
I have only just downloaded the app and started looking around and figuring it out. Reading the reviews here and the replies from BAND really helps. My question, is there a way to sync all my BAND setting across all the Bands? So I don't have to go into each individual one and set them? It's time consuming but I'm also afraid I will miss one of the settings in a Band. Thanks!
If you don't have the newest model phone, don't bother. Does not launch. The app refuses to go past the launch page for long periods of time and then it gets to the initial feed page and becomes unresponsive and then crashes. Used to work, doesn't anymore.
Every time I try to send a message in the chat section, it fails to send and I have to restart my phone for it to work, but then after I send that message, I have to restart my phone again. I tried deleting Band then redownloading it but now it won't even show the messages and a few other things in the chat section.
Fantastic tool for organising band practices and checking numbers attending. A bit difficult to navigate at the start but eventually makes sense. Can we get a notification to the phone (not just inside the app) when a member adds or changes availability to a calendar event? Changed from 4 to 5 stars after explanation. Had to find "My Settings" first and not "Settings"
It's okay, but it's a little laggy and this is how I can text my friends without the app being blocked so it's a 3/5 for me.
This application has a lag and may bugs. And i very very hate naver because naver has very bad search skill and it always search naver blog. They like korean things too much. i think they should change search engine.
Super usefull to have groups in but i wish you could pick only 1 group to get notifications from and not all of the groups without having to completly get rid of the notifications.
New to Band but extremely impressed will all the features and capabilities. I think it just changed my life!!😃
Notification doesn't come through even when all notification switched on. Doesn't load updates posted by bands
I love this app because you can have groups with your friends and I'm currently in a band so this is really helping me with like what my teacher sends us and everything else I really love this app so I really recommend it if you're like in a band or like not just a band instruments like a band like singing and everything else I really love this app
Far too many irrelevant notifications. Constant notifications from the app itself about features they have, and no way to turn them off without disabling all notifications. We use this app for coordinating our marching band, and these junk notifications are useful to no one. The app is generally very slow to load, which is a big issue over a variable mobile phone connection.
