Bandcamp for Artists and Labels

Garbage. No one needs this app. You cant upload anything on the website it just directs you to this app only to find out that bandcamp is now charging 10 dollars per month to upload anything at all. Its 25 dollars per year to get your music on every single streaming platform that currently exists and bandcamp (and soundcloud as well) keep making themselves more dated and worthless to the people who need them. Who ever is in charge of bandcamp now should hang

It's very hard for everyone havin 2 apps for band and for listeners, this could be one awesome app. I entered to my artist account and I don't see details about my releases, only the picture. There is not much I can do with the app, I expected that the app could easily replace desktop website, but it is not. Uninstalling and using only desktop browser bandcamp. Too bad. The desktop website is awesome! The app could and should share the same experience, one app for both artists and listeners.

It is a really useful app for looking at your bands stats. But, I really wish there was a way to be able to sign into two different accounts at the same time because a lot of us have more than one band.

I will keep your app, but I won't like it... Merely a reminder when I see the app icon on my phone that I need to get to my computer to manage my content. Really disappointed that there is no way to manage or publish content. That was my intention to use it for this... The plus side to this app is that it shows activity and sales stats.

Your authentication tokens, or whatever mechanism you use for this app, are broke as hell. I have an artist account and cannot sign in on this app. However, I can log into the website perfectly fine. It is not a typo, I copy/paste from my password manager. It is also not a network issue. Let's just say I'm a network admin and would know! Hope this gets fixed soon. It's kind of useless if you can't even sign into it.

I was meant to find this life changing app. the small kinks is normal for Apps having the proper programming to operate on new detailed format. Does it get annoying? Sure. But give this app the proper research time to learn all the options it has. Customize adapt and use it. It will be a good tool for the bigger picture of your choosing. The licensing is adequate but can use a bit more of Support options

1 ⭐ because for an "Artist" app, I thought there would be more tools & accessibility for artists (beyond managing merch & checking analytics :P) If they add the ability to manage your catalog (with as much, or greater ease than through using the desktop site), then I will update & upgrade my rating, but I really think either THIS app should have that functionality, or another Bandcamp app should. 🤔

The app doesn't allow me to upload my music. There's no option given to add music. I had high hopes, but all you get is an app that shows only my profile. It's a waste of time.

Quite good as an artist, but as a label it's a disaster because you no longer have access to any of your stats, notifications or releases. Tip: never get a label account, it ruins everything.

This companion app is overdue for an overhaul. It's only good for a quick sales check. Stats for free downloads, visits and traffic sources, would be very useful. The inability to edit releases is really poor.

Pretty streamlined and straightforward. Let's you check your stats, sales, streams, etc. See your fans, etc. An okay and easy to use app. Better off using actual computer to handle your account. This is only for very basic account status look-see use.

Guys, I can't edit my releases from the app. The mobile site won't display my unpublished draft album (which goes on pre-order tomorrow). Do I really have to have a desktop computer just to click Publish on a release? Imagine how effective this app for artists could be! You have always been great about adding cool and essential features to your site to help artists. I hope this will be available soon!

The app is unresponsive and I'm not clear who it's designed for but it is certainly not Schooled musicians. I've been to several of these sites like bandlab and it was quickly clear that it sounded like they were trying to be helpful with Cakewalk and tons of pre-made loops that had no space to work in. Of course the clients didn't know so they just played over each other. Offered to teach for free Harmony and theory. one one showed up. I put up a song showing why it was valuable, no likes.

Bandcamp is a fantastic platform for All & especially for new & upcoming Artists and bands. I highly recommend this. And the best thing that I know and I am sure that you all agree with me! That the best thing is we get paid straight away! Yes that's write there is no waiting around for months on end to get paid for your music. Becouse us Artists get our money Straight AWAY, and that's what I love about Bandcamp andi know it's not about the money! Yeah I know it's not! But I tell you! Recognitin

what the actual f#$k.....downloaded this app to manange my bands tunes on the go. no where in this app is the option to edit,add, or remove any of our music ....do i need a THIRD app for that??? I must be missing something cause there is no way anyone intelligent would make an "Artist" specific version of this app where i cant do anything other view stats.....

This is a companion app, I repeat, this is a COMPANION APP. You'll still need to use your Browser for everything, but for a quick look at your sales or stats, this is that. (Or to fire off a message to your community) Giving how awesome BandCamp is, I'm assuming they're reading the reviews and revamping this app soon! (I said 'assuming'....)

Bryson Grey is an awesome artist. Why did you delete both his accounts? I've had the app since 2015 so I could buy tickets to concerts. I uninstalled it cleaning up my phone and went to reinstall it and it says my user name doesn't exist. But when I try to re-sign up it says a fan already has that email.

Yikes. If you're going to release an app for your music hosting site that won't help the users manage their hosting music, you better be damn clear about it it the name and description or you will fail to meet expectations. Someone set themselves up for a letdown with this one. Hopefully they have an ear to the ground and hear their users.

I just installed this App about 10 minutes ago after reading a multitude of negative reviews and a few positive reviews. I logged in on the first try and discovered a Great Deal of Very Useful Information which was Extremely Simple to Access with the Elegant Design of the Interface. I can Access All of the information I need from the convenience of my Samsung Galaxy S10e Smartphone. I am Extremely Impressed with this FREE App with NO ADVERTISING! I suggest IGNORING the Negative Reviews!

completely useless app says "this is not an artist account" since I was never allowed to create an artist account, so that defeats the purpose of BandCamp. Whoever created this garbage ought to delete my account. I'm not reinstalling just to delete it. Update: please delete my account.

Love the app, as it's the only place where I can post my albums and not have to deal with paying for something that makes me no real money...

You know I did anticipate being able to upload music and not waddle around an app that is unfinished and not exactly the centre of attention for the user. Theres barely any options on this.
