BandFriend - Musicians Network

Good UI, already a decent amount of people using the app. The search system for other musicians has to be one of the highlights, however; you can specify your play style to a wide variety of different subcategories (i.e what kind of rock/metal/jazz/etc.) You can also specify which instruments you play/skills you have as well as a gear list if you want. Best part is, you can specifically search for any of these subcategories while searching for other nearby musicians. All for free Definitely 5/5

This app is well organized, and you get an well idea of other musicians instruments, skill level, projects they're/were in, what genres they play. The honest only downside is that it needs more people which isn't the fault of this app. Where as other social media like this is very disorganized. BandFriend is great for scouting talent for a band, making new jam buddies, and/or find a good teacher is your new to an instrument or music in general.

Looks promising. Had some issues with the registration as it didn't say that special characters are not allowed. Also the activation button did not disappear when profile was already activated (took about 5min). The app itself looks very clean and if it had more users it surely would be a great app to find other musicians.

This app is terrible n I usually do not give bad reviews often. It has a hard time loading plus it's like no one is really communicating or on half the time. It's hard to get messages to other members which is the point of the site. Also you cannot see any pics of yourself or others. No good for promotion etc. I'm hoping things improve. I'm not writing it off yet but for now these are my thoughts. I've never had an issue with an app this bad.

This App has so much Potential. To the developer make all the Navigation more user friendly. Clicking on A post to watch a video works but going back it starts all over. Have it stop at the post. Also the buttons dont work unless you back up to the beginning each time. Have the buttons work every time please there is so much more just to much to type. Thanks 😉👍🏼

The interface is great, love the graphics, the options. But--I never receive notifications that i've been messaged. So I forget about it for ages. And ppl don't get notifications of my messages either. Annoying.

The options for skill levels on instruments should also be changed as it goes from beginner to advanced, with nothing inbetween. I don't know if this is the case with all instruments, but it is for drums

I love this app so far, I think it would make it better if you added a voice note feature. It would be super helpful for vocalists.

I wish I could share with you all the email from this support. From a Stefan Immich. It was sarcastic and unhelpful. I had to share the email with Google Play Store who took action against the developer. As it stands my account is still active and the developer is so far refusing to help or remove my account as requested. App is very broken. Won't accept me pressing the delete button. I offered to change my review once this issue was resolved but developer responded with just "lol"

I'm actually extremely surprised how well this app is user-friendly, quite detailed within your profile portfolio which I like & easy to navigate. I highly believe that this app will become more & more popular quite quick.

Definitely is a great app in my opinion better than the apps I've seen and used and the best part is it's free and more convenient, so fact is I would definitely recommend it. Band friend sure is a good connections app friend.💯

Just created an account . I only gave it 4 because there is so much more that can be done to improve the site. There are some search filters that would help find what your looking for. Also add a jam schedule for private and local open jams happening and knowing they are worth going to based reviews. Good start and best I've seen for musicians but dont stop improving it . So much more that could be done.

Just what I was looking for. It's apps like this one, that reminds me that I love the future! And the interface is straight forward and Not redundant like most, which is awesome.

Awesome app for meeting other musicians. Already met a drummer. Very efficient and clean looking app, reccomend to anyone trying to find a other musicians to play with.

This app requires you to activate your account through an email. My link didn't work. When I tried to message customer support I recieved a message saying that I would have to activate my account to send the message.

There is about 10 musician in my region and none answer ,most of them didnt take the time to make a real profile . Great app idea but very poorly used.

I can't sign up. The app somehow always crashes when I type in the last letter of an email adress. Also tried it with other adresses already. But nope, doesnt work.

Not many active members and the app crashes constantly, and I changed my rating from 2 stars to 1 star because your response says I "regularly spam your app feed with ads of your app".. MY APP?! I don't have an app, don't like wasting my time, and don't care to be accused of such nonsense. Just thinking about wasting anymore time then I already did on this app.. 🤣 I needed a good laugh.. De nada!

Only app of gound that you get a good community vibe from. Iv still not found a band in london yet "vocalist locking 😉" but had some good chats with local guys and gals. Really recommend this easy to use also x

Great app for musicians! Although there are not too many musicians local to me those who I have found have been great!

Amazing social media app and collaboration tool that is really only lacking users and just a teeny bit of polish before it is perfect.
