I love this app, I love everything about it and it deserves my five stars. But there's been like a glitch to were the special effects like paneling or a filter that I add would save but when I play the song from the library the effect isn't there. The effect would be there when I'm in the mix editor. I really appreciate the app and keep up the good work.
Absolutely amazing app! Very useful, incredibly encouraging for aspiring artists and relatively straightforward (if you know what you're doing to some degree). One thing I would suggest for the developers however would be a "select-search" for virtual instruments to make finding the right instruments for beat-making that bit easier. Other than that, Bandlab's great! Keep up the great work :)
Started working on my first project in this app... It's easy to use once you figure it out and I really love using it... I, in particular only did midi file music types... But, I encountered a bug/problem where the changes I last made in the midi file edit had vanished even though I had clicked save changes. Was it because I wasn't connected to the internet when I did all the said action? If it isn't, can you please fix the bug? Thank you....
I'm going to add to change up an old review. This app continues to improve, in my opinion, and I want to stress that this app has so much potential as a professional production tool, but my main issue is that the interface/controls are not fluent or intuitive to use, and it really hampers workflow. For example, when placing midi, the user should be allowed to zoom in and out of the timeline; more shortcuts and navigation, please! The UI hampers the workflow and makes it feel tedious.
Awesome app. Just imagine a social media platform built with a focus put into creating and sharing music, and you've basically just described Bandlab. The UI is slick and easy to navigate (except for on the main home screen, which is arguably the 2nd most important place behind the studio). I also like the little additional features built into the app that make it useful in other situations, examples being the standalone tuning fork and metronome tools.
I'm gonna keep it a bill, I was very intimedated by the thought of making my own beats for my lyrics but this app is so user friendly, I really feel like anyone could do it with enough practice. They have a tab on your saved projects to insert your lyrics. I havent looked yet but I am certain there is a way to export your saved file so you can record your vocals better. I gave 4 stars because the lay out can be a bit intimedating at first but, play around for a bit and you will get it.
It's an awesome app to create some beats, all 5/5. I have a small problem, but it's no biggie; I try importing a (fast) sample in the tempo of 170 BPM, but then it suddenly goes to 85 BPM in the metronome after it reads the sample, and it keeps doing that every time I try again. Is there any way to prevent that? Thanks. I like making breakcore/goreshit in this app, and it's really great to use.
This has got too be the best music making app I have ever used. Trust me I've used tons of them, from jams music maker all the way too walk band and everything between. Band lab has been nothing but great for me. I even read the bad reviews before I downloaded it where a few people said the app crashed on them or froze up or wouldn't let them save there music. I first downloaded it on a government phone and never once had any problems with the app. Thank you so much to the Dev's I just love it.
I love this app, I'm an independent musician who doesn't necessarily want to spend a lot of money on a casual hobby, but this app is everything I've ever needed and more, for FREE! This app was a lifesaver and helped me put out my song even though I was about to give up bc there wasn't any way to do it right. I love the UI setup, very easy to figure out, I love the options and variety of things you can do. Just please don't change this app, it's perfect already!
This used to be such a great app. But now I strongly dislike this app now. It has problems with the microphones because when I record audio on bandlab it's so distorted compared to when I record on my camera it's fine, And not only that it also has problems with syncing up vocals which is so annoying. It never used to have these problems and I hope someone can fix it
I rated this app a 4 earlier but now am giving it a 2. I really wish you would not have updated it !!!! It was so fun, responsive and meaningful at first but since the update it keeps on closing itself abruptly at the start which is really annoying. When it opens however, it still has the 'juice' it has always had with very good effects and multi channels and thats the reason am giving it a 2, otherwise with its problem of closing itself, that would be a 0 !!!!
It's been a pretty good music app so far, no problems except for maybe the Bluetooth delay. Otherwise, nothing I can think of. Edit: for the past few days I haven't been able to put the sound squares perfectly on the line anymore which is slightly annoying, but manageable.
No Adds, or gimmicks. My opinion of this app has grown so much since I first got it. This is the ONLY app for a mobile phone other than garageband that you you can use to make professional sounding music. And I prefer this over garageband anyway. It deserves 10 stars and if you see anyone who doesn't like this app. The problem is on them, not the app. With a good phone, and pair of good headphones with a mic on them you can make VERY professional music. Blaqtalon_official rates this a 100/10.
I've used this app to make music for since 2020. But recently i haven't been able to use it because when I try to load in, it keeps saying connection error. My data is fine, and I uninstalled it and re installed it to see of it would fix it. Now it says loading error. I really hope this gets fixed as soon as possible.
Having fun using this app. It took me a little bit to get used to it, but now I realize it has a learning curve. Hoping they add to it cause theres a few things it can use but it works great as is. No crashes, works good on android 11. Ads are non-intrusive and the app is easy to work with once you understand how it works. Plenty of documentation explaining it all (got to read it first and not jump right in LoL).
Definetly a must have this handy dandy app to help any level musician gain the experience they need for professional use or just for fun! I'm looking at this to help me become a better, Disc Jockey and Electronic Drums (beginner) player! I literally play by ear!... Seize your moment fellow musicians!... Be well and be safe out there in these uncertain times! I have a learning disability I'm grateful to have finally found a fairly simple and easy to use app!... Kudos to the dev's!
Oh Bandlab..Thank you Thank you, and thanks again. This app has allowed me to do more with my musical talents, and it's been an honor to be able to share and connect with musicians from all over the world. The convenience, variety, and diversity. I'm just blown away. The only thing I can see room for some adjustments is the music customization format. I wish it was a bit more like on Garage Band for that, as it was easier for me to create and customize my own beats. Overall I'm very impressed.
This app is a little jewel, very easy to use even with limited experience. I have been in the music industry as a pianist and composer for years. The only criticism I have would be that the classical instruments such as the strings and wind instuments could be better samples, but appart from that, I cant see it being better. Thank you
It's the best music making app I've never ever used so far! There's an incredible amount of instruments and effects. I don't have anything bad to say, excepted one bug : in some of my projects, the instruments switch from an octave to another, and it's pretty annoying :( Besides that it's a great app, thank you and Congrats!
