Bandwidth ruler Free [wo ROOT]

It just simply did not worked. I set up the rule for my mobile connection, it had options like up.rate twice, don't know whats that supposed to mean but I set both of them to 100KBps but it didn't throttled the connection. And even after I enabled it for the apps, still did not worked. All in all a confusing app, did not worked, But let's see how it goes.

Works very nicely on the Redmi 4A. It's pretty much easy to set the rules (and I mean you can set many rules and decide which one now). The app also gives advice on how to set the appropriate upload speed for the preffered download speed. I would definitely recommend. Another thing is that there no intrusive (in-your-face) adverts

There is no any perfect application which controlls mobile data bandwidth but this developer is trying to do the task and I really appreciate it. App doesn't work In my rooted redmi note 8. I want to cap my mobile data transmission speed. Please try to fix if possible. Good job. Thanks.

The upload limit I had put was not removed when uninstalling. Now my device internet is slow and installing this app again to remove the speed restriction has no effect because app can't find the rule it had set anymore. The rule is there, but can't be seen nor removed. Edit: had already done what dev suggested before coming here to post the first time. Solved by erasing system, dalvik & cache partition, then reflashing. U really want me doing that video proving the bug don't u? Why I would lie?

Sadly not working, custom rom: AOSP extended, android version: 9, root: yes (magisk). Edit1: thx for fast response but no I didn't hide root for the app. (xiaomi redmi note 4x mido). Edit2: yep, that's how I tested it every time. When I turned on data and off wifi, app notifies me, that the rules are applied but the speed is still too fast (in Mbps).

Set my network speed limit to 150kbps but my mobile still streams in 1mbps Edited: Installed the latest version and set speed as 24kbps (lowest allowed) and still facing same issue. Edit2: The app description clearly states "for both root and non-root mobiles". Anyway thank you for the clarification.

Man.. App is based on great idea.. But IT DOES NOT WORK JOB... You need to rewrite a lot of thing there :) MOVE TO FULL needs to be default option.. or to have MOVE ALL TO FULL.. Because manually moving to full whole list is painful process 😅 Also to be option for upload and download speed.. separate... And I dont see in-app purchase :)

This app was working nice but now it has limited my internet speed and I'm still using tge same 24kb/sec please do something I'm using the most updated version but still I'm not able to get my internet speed back. I would give a five star if you solve my problem.Edit1:no I dont have any problem with the 24kb per second I'm just saying that I'm not able to use the real speed ofthe internet I've even tried deleting the app but still this app made my tethering hotspot connection very slow

This app is total hoax... Don't install! It does not work at all and they ask for short term free subscription with your credit card... But even after you uninstall app they continue to take money from your account... Every week they kept taking money from my account... Without my permission... I would give 0 stars but google won't allow me! This kind of apps should not have purchase options Useless and harmful! After 2nd reply of developers: I have tried claim refunds but no options on menus!

Bandwidth ruler still works but it's going to be need to be updated more to work with new Android 11, Android 12 and Android 13 devices.

Maybe app is fine but it spams a sound notification every 3 seconds and if I turn off the sound it turns itself back on. Therefor it's useless

This app is life saver, when it comes high bandwidth 4g network usage, you can save lots of network data by limiting the extra bandwidth. A big thanks to dev. 👍

This App is a scam! Downloaded and subscribed for 3 day trial used a speed tester internet speed remained the same before the app and after useing the app. Total scam

This is the worst app layout I've ever seen in my 12 years of using Android, it also does not work on my rooted Pixel 4 XL.

it used to work on my note 3 it doesn't work on my LGV30 android 9.0 with magisk root access but when using the app it don't request super user access and i can't allow it root access without request, but when i press help it says that my devices is rooted. UPDATE: i tried blocking YouTube as a test with doesn't require root but still it didn't work, i tried hiding magisk from the app and unhiding in either way nothing changed.

The interface appealing to function but after setting rules and clicking done the rules don't save and apply when you reopen the rules disappeared and my hotspot is running at 3mbps and I set it to 100Kbs

Bw ruler is a good app,but features very limited, please add new advance options for speed limiting. Please add new feature - Fast surf advance options, not only on/off. I mean how many fast surf....

It is an awesome app.Works nicely in my Redmi Note 5 Pro.I limited my mobile data speed and it is working.Also,you can set data limit and speed differently for different connections.

Doesnt work at all, even signed up for the trial and would of paid for it if it worked but it didn't. This app should be removed if you have to pay lmao. And it doesn't even work And yes my phone is rooted.

I did set mobile data speed limit to 3kbps in program settings, ran speed test, and it showed my real speed of 75mbps download and 25mbps upload. So the app doesn't limit my data speed. (Oneplus7, rooted, wifi off, no restriction activity in background for this app)

Sorry to give 0 stars but... I'm using Android 9. I put on download speed of 256 yet the users can still receive more than 500 kb of download speed... This just isn't working. It could be for me only.

This seem to be a really fine working app and I have thoughts buying the full ver, although I ran into some problem I cant seem to change or edit the rules? I tried repeatedly nothing changed unfortunately, is this normal? Do I havw to reinstall? Great app by the way .

Doesn't work. Worse, doesn't tell you it is not working. Set hotpot for 16kbps speed. Ran test in connected device It gauged 12mbps. Full 4g Considering reply: you should not impose subscription without a list of working phones. Also I am running stock Oreo on Asus Zenfone 4 selfie

Hey, I really needed this kind of app to control data flow when I connect to laptop via tethering. I have setup the rule to 25kbps via tethering, but unfortunately speed goes upto 900+ kbps in my mobile Mi Note 5. Can you guys please fix it asap?

Finally i have discoverd a handy and functioning network speed limitter which is awsome.. It working well as expected , good work.

This works for me. Awesome! Please make a complete suite for Android hotspot which has all the management rules on ruling each device or setting limit to each device, and i'll happily pay for it.

yeah honestly tried EVERY option there was to limit hotspot speed and just NOTHING the speed was the SAME not ONCE limited and checked online for some tricks still nothing so unistall and keep looking. And dont forget to unsubscribe after you unistall cause google play will keep pulling money from you
