Don't bother installing. App has bare minimum functionality and navigating through it is a pain. I installed it a while back and uninstalled it because it had issues. I recent noticed Banfield made some attempts to improve the website so I thought I would give the app another try. It at least let me log in but there are no real improvementsn in functionality.
The app worked fine in the beginning, but now I have changed my password 6 times and each time it says I still can not log in. The remember me button does not work. The finger print button does not work. This app needs an overhaul with the use of functionality. Update: I have uninstalled and re-installed the app and I am no longer able to log in to the app but can log into the PC.
Wonderful app. Easy to navigate. I never had an issue with the app crashing in the 8 + years of using it. 👍 Dental appointments and surgeries/procedures have to be made in person or telephonicly. ☎️
The app is fantastic EXCEPT that it doesn't allow for large font sizes. If the font you need is bigger than they expect, it does not provide a scroll bar, it simply cuts off and denies you access to the rest of the screen. This is a major accessibility design flaw i would really like to see corrected.
It's not great. Doesn't have my dog's profile saved every time. Kicks me out when I get to a point to schedule an appointment. And the formatting of the text is wonky.
I cannot get past the page to pick a date for scheduling an appointment in the app or on the website. I pick the next available date, I pick the time & try to hit next but nothing happens, it just gets stuck
I am really tired of having to create new passwords, either because you update your system, or your system just decides that my password is incorrect when it isn't!!! Now after resetting my password yet again the damn app won't work at all. It will start to open , I will see my dog's name & then the app closes. I have updated the app. I have Uninstalled the app & reinstalled the app & it still won't work.
Your VetChat button did not work for me. I pressed it multiple times and it did absolutely nothing. It's a concern for me because I needed to talk to a vet in that moment, this is my first time using the app, because my dog ate something he shouldn't have and I was concerned. It did not help when the VetChat option did not do a thing. Please fix this problem, thank you.
App keeps messing up & times out the chat after 5mins but I was responding to them, then they said wait time is 60minutes... Something needs to be fixed cuz it's extremely annoying, I just decided to make an appointment But of course nothing available for a week, so I have to wait not knowing if my dog is ok or not!!!
Integral tool that can be used to chat with a licensed vet 24/7. I've brought chats to emergency rooms and vet appointments. Banfield was incredibly helpful throughout my ownership of a sickly cat and this app made communications clear and abundant.
Update 2022: This app is so kuch better than the previous version. No difficulties with scheduling appointments or access health records. Only challenge I've experienced is trying to locate the Wisdom Health DNA results. Since this is offered now, it would be nice to have the link for results included with the lab results page. 2019 review: Never accepts the appointment after I select done.
This app does not work well. Even to login is a headache sometimes. The remember me button doesn't even work. Scheduling is not up to date with the office actual availability. Is always better to just call the Banfield of preference. The only thing that worked for me was the chat with a vet.
App keeps closing. I use this app alot for my 3 furbabies, but lately the app has been experiencing some glitches. It would say it has a bug, clear cache, update the app, etc but even after doing so it still closes. Plz fix. This app comes in handy but it's hard when it's not doing as intended to lately.
Can't log in. It keeps telling me to change my password every time I try to log in, but no matter what I change it to it keeps saying that something went wrong and to try again. It won't accept any password I pick so I can access it to set up appointments. I have uninstalled it and then installed it back and that didn't work either. Not sure what to do now.
Just let me search by date and then by distance. Everyone is always booked out for several weeks it makes the Banfield free office visit near useless in urgent needs such as potential illness, injury etc. Definitely dropping this plan upon renewal and telling everyone I can how bad it is. It's all sales BS, everyone is overbook and the lackluster animal care shows. I don't want to book 2 weeks out. I want it today and I expect there to be sufficient availability. App does not prioritize the pet
I have no issues with the app. The app has helped me numerous times when needed on the spot. I do have a question though......I tried loading the app and say there is a bug and need to update the app but it is already updated and I turned off and on my phone. I was curious how long does it take to be fix the issue?
The app is continually crashing, I open it and it immediately crashes before I can even log in. Even before it started doing that I was unhappy with this app as navigating it was needlessly complicated and difficult (but then so is the desktop website).
Bad, bad app. Gave me one day's choice and when I couldn't do that date the app had no other options but took me back to the beginning. I then called Banfield and sure enough they had several dates open! This app needs a serious makeover. And Ps... I'm a techno-geek - former I/T professional, so I know what I'm doing.
Was great but now the DNA panel is missing ...... You have to check back sometimes because more dogs get DNA tested. Now the whole button is gone.
So sad that this app stopped working for me. I use it a ton for my cats, but I am getting frustrated that it keeps crashing since the update. It'll start to open, then immediately close. Please fix this guys, it's been weeks of this!
This app was perfect in the beginning, but recently I am unable to log in through the app. It has nothing to do with my account or passwords because I'm able to log in normally through the mobile browser. It's a bug with the app. I've seen another complaint like this. It isn't user error. Please fix.
