It's phenomenal that you can get access to all your banking information online and manage your money from your cell phone in such a way that you can easily pay every bill w/o moving or transfer your money from checking to savings and vice versa and have it immediately deposited and available when you need it. Definitely a good app and bank.

The app is slow, cumbersome, and lacks the full functionality of the website. If you can't make transfers to or from external accounts, what good is this stupid app? Also, the bank charges $3 for an external transfer that takes 3 days and $10 if you want to transfer your own money within one business day

The check deposit feature of this app is infuriating. It almost never "detects" the endorsement on the back of the check and forces you to keep retaking the photo. The only way around it is to keep resigning the check in different places, trying to guess where it wants to see the signature.

I need the home screen widget, unfortunately, while the rest of the app works well the widget rarely works at all. It pretty much constantly shows a blank saying that I am not connected to internet, however I am. The refresh button on the widget does not work, so you have to open the regular app, sign in, and then get the info that should be available at a glance.

Never have any issues w/mobile deposit, the only exception being when it's trying to detect corners of the check. Generally works better if you turn off auto capture. Maybe having a default option for the deposits and/or defaulting to the last accessed account could be an option. Seems like everytime I go to deposit I'm changing what account it goes into. Love the search option and have yet to experience any technical issues with the app.

I prefer my other bank's mobile app which automatically takes photo of check deposits. This one makes you take photo yourself and rejects it over and over - very frustrating. Also the text account updates are not in synch. Get updated balance one day, then the next day you get confirmation of an amount deposited that was included in the previous day's updated balance!

Being able to log on to my accounts is a God send! I caught fraud on my account before it got to far and was able to easily work with the bank to change my info and correct the issue. But without being able to see it online I would probably have had to wait for either a paper statement in the mail or an embarrassing decline in a store. I would definitely recommend this app! After that and the prompt help of the bank I would rate it 10 🌟 if I could! Thank you Bangor Savings Bank!!!

Still demands absolute perfection otherwise mobile deposit will fail and kick you back to the login screen.

The mobile check deposit has been terrible for years. Always says there's no endorsement on the back of the check when it's clearly written in the picture. With no way around it. Its the same for my wife and everyone else I know who uses it.

Decent site, easy to navigate. One thing I would love to see is when you schedule your payments thru bill pay, that they'd let you see which payments you've made in the last monthly banking cycle...maybe an upcoming upgrade to the site? This would make it so easy to see past bill payments without having to go thru all of the charges

The only thing that's frustrating is that when you create a payee you can't reuse it you have to enter it again each time for example if you have multiple bills to the same payee but with different account numbers you have to type it all over again. It does not allow you to select it and then apply an account number if it's different than the last one

This app does about everything that I need. I never have any glitches and it is very easy to use. I wish I could transfer from my account to someone else's account so I didn't have to call in every month because Bangor Savings won't put it on an automatic payment. Then they charge me $5 for transferring over the phone.

This version makes it nearly impossible to deposit checks. Signature and routing/account numbers are perfectly clear and it rejects them. When it takes them, 9 times out of 10, it tells me it can't display my information, therefore not depositing the check. Incredibly frustrating to say the least.

Everything is easy to find & I love the ability to deposit a check without leaving the house!

Works well.Very convenient for depositing checks and avoiding trips to the bank. I wish the deposit cap amount was higher. Update, 5-19-20, Still working great. Only hiccup is it sometimes is quirky when taking a picture of the back of check when depositing checks. Often takes 3 tries. Other than that....perfect!

Check deposit needs improvement. Other bank I had, you actually take photo same as your camera function. This one "detects" the check and you have to hold steady, balance on one foot, hold your breath and hope it takes. Then retake it 2-3 times. Terrible. Rest of app is fine.

Check deposit is almost impossible due to cropping issues. Everything else is great!

Does not recognize the signature over 60% of the time and does not accept the transaction. Makes it difficult to use

Someone is always there to help you and the app is so easy to use. Wouldn't trust anyone else but Bangor Savings Bank with my money

Does exactly what it says on the tin, and does it well. Wish e-transfers were possible, but that might not be a thing in the US.

Ugh... everytime I pull up the app I have to tap the password part several times as fast as I can in order to pull the keyboard up if I tried to tap the username then my username disappears and I have to type that all over again when you get into the app it's all right except for when bill shutdowns and you can't use it and you have to call Bangor Savings and then they transfer you to the other people that control the bill pay app and they're not open on weekends

Their check deposit never wants to accept the photo of the check and then when it does it voids it soon after... very frustration. You have limited access to old transactions or will only go back a few months.. and there are something you just cant do in the mobile app.. I'd like to see these things addressed I dont see why it cant work.. especially the check deposit feature which should not be allowed to continue..

Pretty solid. Could do with some additional options like viewing card info, but I'm sure that's a security risk. I mostly use it for checking my balance and depositing checks, and the deposit feature is fantastic.

Keep making it better and better, the user friendly it is, the better. Keeping it simple yet also giving us freedom to do things, maybe change the theme as it is a little plain, aka incorporate your BLUE & WHITE more into the app.. just keep doing what everything else should be doing.. growing & evolving/updating with the world. Just like food, peoples eyes almost eat the app" in a way with their eyes and you always want to satisfy.

I love the convenience but sometimes things show up before they get deducted and sometimes things get deducted but don't show up. All in all it is no substitute for balancing my checking account by saving my receipt and doing it the old fashion way...

I've been using this app for years and when it works, it's great! Unfortunately, it's pretty unreliable. The app has stopped working multiple times while traveling through a foreign country and with the latest update, I can't even log in.

Fingerprint access keeps disabling itself and I keep having to set it up over and over and over again. I have notified support but apparently they couldn't care less. Otherwise it would be a great app.
