I won't have enough room to type all my grievances here, but I'll give you a few: - $2000 daily transfer limit on a commercial account - I literally cannot pay my staff. - The daily transfer limit is across all your account totaled together! - Requests to make changes in their secure online mail system takes them over two weeks to respond to. - No VISA due date or total balance to pay shown on the internet banking site. - No VISA total balance due shown on the front of the monthly statement and good luck figuring it our from the rest of the statement. - The due date for VISA in the mobile app jumps to one month past the actual due date at the start of every month, so you are misled into thinking you have a whole extra month to pay the balance! - Try to ring support and you'll die of old age on hold. If you move to this bank, you have rocks in your head. I couldn’t regret my decision more.
It's fine. Probably the best feature of banking with Bank Australia but that's because everything else is so bad. Clunky digital systems, most things are paper based, transfers take forever. And don't even think about calling for support... You'll be on hold for hours and even then, no guarantees that person will help you. The user and customer experience overall is pretty shocking. Very much regretting the choice of transferring my banking to this company.
Great app, intuitive and easy to use. Can get all the statements, not just recent ones. Great ethical bank also
Pretty good for a banking app. Would like it to be easier to find your client number though.
Has always worked for me! Only thing I'd personally change is the picture of the tree you're greeted with to something more minimal just 'cause it's a busy image, but have had great experience with the app!
At least i don't get charged for services on the app unlike being charged for a single teller service in "shop" once upon a time the front of house was where one went forcost free service but Bank Australia has taken a leaf from all the other banks where one is no longer a member but simply a cash cow. Very sadly it's a long way from when it was a teachers credit union and other variations and permeatations along the way to just being another bank. On line??? Yes it's fine!!!
Love the bank, but the app is not intuitive. Too many clicks to get anywhere and the landing page isn't necessary, just navigate straight to accounts.
Simple, intuitive, non-banky aesthetic. Does what it should.
So far the app has been great and super easy to use. My only minor critiques would be that I took a little bit to figure out how to schedule a regular payment. Turns out when you input the money amount there's a little calendar in the top right corner. Also, I can't seem to add a new account within the app. It would be great if this was a sub component under the accounts menu option.
Very clear design and straightforward application.
The app is pretty good but a few areas for improvement especially the payments workflow its like 8 steps... The quick balance should be on the home page, instead the home page is useless just a pretty picture. Swiping left and right shows some advertising stuff, really don't need to see this we are already customers. Failed card transaction notifications would be good too.
Pretty straightforward and easy to use. Sometimes i almost don't make a payment after going through all the steps because you have to scroll down to click make payment... I'd rather not have to scroll down at that point. Also it would be good to be able to change daily spending limits on the app- but i guess maybe that's not done so people don't alter them all the time? Overall quite content.
It's not a bad app, but it's a bit fiddly to use. I find it a bit annoying that it doesn't take me straight to the account screen when I log in. Also, I've used other banking apps which bring up the fingerprint reader as soon as I launch the app and I find that really handy. And I'd like to be able to change my account names myself, even if just via the website.
Stale caches in the app show incorrect/outdated values. UX for transferring money is clunky, not very smooth: there are too many screens to move through and you don't get a good overall view of where you are in the process. The NAB app is a good example of this process done right.
It's quick & responsive & does what I need it to do, mostly. A good enhancement would be if it kept a list of the payments & dates for each person or entity I paid, a history in fact. Now I just have to scroll through lengthy items under my account & it's tedious & messy. If I could click on a name under Pay Anyone (or whatever) & see what I've paid them & when it would be so handy & efficient. If this app allows me to do that please let me know.
Best bank App, very easy to navigate and feels smooth. A lot of banking apps can feel a bit clunky
This app is a good partner to Bank Australia's online webbanking system. It just isn't as full featured or useful as other banks, especially coming from the Commonwealth Bank.
Brilliant! A week ago I would have given 0 stars as I started and deposited money and then they locked me from my own account that they approved. Do it's gone from calling police to a great bank. Hahahaha
Overall pretty good. There are quirks that could be improved in both the app and the website. For example I'd like to easily find info such as external transfer limits, I had to call to find that out recently. But I'm prepared to put up with quirks for ethical banking.
Does everything you need, and from an amazing ethical bank - but the app is really slow to log in and load transactions, which makes it really frustrating to use.
The UI is really hit and miss with inconsistent back/cancel button placements. No push notifications for transactions is really disappointing, this is standard across many other banks. The app needs to be modernized. The bottom menu on the main screen should always be viewable. Also a Dark mode would be nice.
Very nice UI, well designed. Transaction notifications a little delayed. Cardless cash capability would make it perfect
Fast app and fairly intuitive. Bank Australia has a great support crew too, so requests or app issues have quick response times.
App layout is great, easy to navigate, being able to add tags to payments afterwards for categorizing transactions would be useful (allow us to see extended description if tap on a description which is too many character to show, or if I add a description add it at the front of the full transaction details so it not cut off). Edit: Transaction are dated by when they clear rather than when they happen, which can be confusing for backtracking. 4* lowered to 3*
Basic functionality ok, but key functions missing. There is no facility to see or change your payment transfer limits. This is a critical omission IMHO, forcing a difficult choice between permanent unsafe, high limits or an extremely clumsy, slow process to increase limits temporarily for larger transactions. I think it is very unfortunate that six months further on there is still no sign of improvement in functionality. This app STILL sadly lags a long way behind those of the big 4
