Just would like to have a remedy for the non functional biometric authentication, as the PIN forced to be created special characters and numbers and letters..who can remember all those, when not using it daily. Please recommend ways to get back biometric authentication...thanks

Overall, the app is fine. UI is pretty basic. However, it does the job well. There is however one big issue. There are no notifications for amount debited if you pay by debit card. In case, there is a fraud transaction, you would never know until you check your statement. There is no notification for debit for standing instructions or for credit of amount. Daily payment limit for debit card would be good to have. Currently, it only has weekly limit option.

The last update makes the app look better, but this is the only improvement. The usability of the app went down overall. Several extremely annoying changes: 1) "Pay" button on the home-scren takes you to google play page even if the payment app is installed. 2) It is no longer possible to copy a TAN, which was a very useful feature of the previous version. 3) The app keeps showing new notifications on my phone home screen even though there are none.

After the new update the app has lost a lot of functionalities. The most important one being the ability to create a pdf of a payment, or a pdf for anything really. The tutorial is useless and doesn't show you anything important or relevant to how to find the functions you need. What a shame, every update breaks the app even more.

App feels sluggish. The "Financial Overview" start screen takes ~ 4-5 sec. to load every time you need to switch back to it. This gets annoying, pretty fast. I'm also missing an option to manage my templates for money transfers. I can save new ones, select existing ones, but not modify or delete existing ones.

The app has improved since the last update. Now here is something that could be improved: - it would be great if I could scroll through my account balance and transactions since I have the account. With a screen sorted by months I could check it all. Still, there are a lot of improvements to do. I have other Bank app from Brazil and the Ux design was really good implemented and therefore quite intuitive.

Every update seems to break it some more. It used to work flawlessly but now there's IP restriction which makes you unable to login if the IP is 'suspicious' (whatever that means) even from your home network or mobile network. Random system error, Generic error, fingerprint login issues. It's a total mess now.

Password requirements are a joke. Plus now my password is in my auto completion because the app doesn't disable auto complete on password prompt. Slow and sluggish UI. Also I cannot edit my reoccurring payments in the app.

terrible. The app almost never works. From time to time it must be reinstalled in order to make it work. At the moment the qr code scan is also not working. The same goes for the web app too. It lloks like the entire budget was spend on the user interface and no effort at all for the functionality. Decided to move my business to another bank

Last time I gave a bad rating because my App PushTAN functionality was broken. I could not see/confirm PushTANs. However the bank contacted me and it turned out to be a very rare circumstance. We investigated together and were able to solve it in the end. Actually it's good - the problem only happens because of working security measures. FIX: Make sure to turn on "get automatic time from server" on your phone. This guarantuees your messages have a valid timestamp. Thanks, Bank Austria!

Since the big update, TAN arrives every fifth time when one tries to make a payment, and even then without a notification. But I did get now in February two TANs from payments I unsuccessfully tried to do in December last year. Other than that, the password requirements are really bad.

I have a complex pin so I use a password manager. My password manager is not able to detect the input fields and even if I copy my password from the manager I can't paste it as the input field only accepts x amount of characters and my password is longer. This started since your update. Would be great if you added pattern unlock.

Bank Austria, this is truly the final straw. I emailed that the push system does not work. Unable to make (urgent) payments & not even able to change push notifications back to TAN sms as you need push again to confirm that. Then, instead of replying or offering a solution, they blocked the app + my account login (from desktop)! So, now I'm unable to even see my account , while being abroad for a month & having to call their hotline which is extremely expensive. I was just on hold for 16 minutes and it cost me already 25 euro. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced & will switch banks asap.

App used to be good but now its terrible. Can no longer receive TAN codes, get error every time I try to open them so i cannot do online payments with my account. Biometrics login also fails every time i need to use my password instead. Would also be good if they kept up with modern services like other banks and also offer digital card/Google Pay

Since the recent update, I am not able to manage more than one account.With the old app, it possible to login to other accounts by just changing the account number.With this updated version, I have to uninstall and reinstall the app any time I want to login into my second account. Now its not even allowing be to install the app from the play store anymore, possibly due to the numerous re-installs so am unable to access my account.

Very unreliable app. Sometimes works and sometimes does not connect with the terminal for no reason. This app makes your shopping experience miserable if you trust it and don't have your bank card or cash with.

Low quality app. I could not confirm online purchase. The app asks to confirm the transaction, I did so. Then writes 'go back to online shop page'. I can not go back, the online shop in my laptop!!! Now I am calling to client service and waiting for 20 minutes already. I used now the card of the other bank. I do not want to use bank austria card, bad quality!

Version 8.0.0.8000055 does not work on my Android (9) phone (Moto G6 Plus). After a very long process the issue was finally resolved by installing a previous version of the App and stopping auto updates. I'm grateful to Manuel of the BA Direct Services team for his patience and assistance.
