Bankaroo-virtual bank for kids

Can't update settings of child's account (allow negative balance). Changes are not saved.

The app won't let me be both the admin and teacher of the class. Also, I can't load or print the bank cards. Other than that, I know my students will enjoy using this app to help the better understand saving money to reach a goal.

If you are the "admin" for your account, the app will not let you manage your class.

The first use is confusing because it gives you 2 options: log in or sign in (which should say sign up). When I figured that out the screen wouldn't scroll up to see all the fields I needed to enter, I had to enter the field I could see, close my keyboard then select the next field and so on

A really great idea with terrible execution. Last version just crashed all the time. Now I can get in and access the kids accounts, but I can't enter or remove any funds. Hitting the add funds or remove funds buttons and nothing happens. Which means the app is 100% useless. Too bad.

New version of the app won't update on my phone and the existing version will no longer open. At the moment my kids are not impressed as they have no idea how much pocket money they have.

UI is a little sluggish but otherwise the app is good and does exactly what we need for our kids.

Used to be a good app. Now for the last several days it briefly displays the login page and then redirects to a web browser page with a message of "success". I wouldn't call it a success if that's what happens when you try to open the app!

I don't even like this app

I've been using this app for a while and the only thing I would like changed is allowing more characters to be saved in the Description field for a more detailed description. Can this possibly be a future enhancement?

It was great until last update! Very disappointing. Now I can't even open any of the accounts.

Used to be great. But I cannot even access the app without it crashing. I haven't been able to get in touch with anyone either. Very frustrating. I lost all the newer entries for all 4 of my kids because they didn't sync. I can't trust them with virtual money. I definitely need something more reliable!

I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 and ever since the last update the program crashes when I try to open it.

It used to be great but now it always crashes on my Samsung Galaxy S4.

"Can not access the app when off line." Useless. Not sure how it was set up as web based but the makers need to look into this a little deeper. If you're not saying that the app needs internet access in the permissions, then why can't I use it without internet access? If it's because it links to the web service, then it's not an app, it's a bookmark. If you're making money from this then just charge me. If you're making money from this without charging me, then you're selling my information. Reply?

We and our kids love this app. It works well and gives the kids a sense of how to set goals and save. Developer is responsive and active, which is a huge plus.

This is great for my son to see and save his chore money. The only issue that is making me look for an alternative app is the decimal point! It wont allow me to add a . For exa ple if he has $1.50 it only lets me write $150 it used to have a help button that would pop up and allow a . To be found but not any more. Please fix this or I have to change apps and I really dont want to.

Except that it requires username and password each time you open the app. Super inconvenient and prevents me and my kids from using it since we never remember our credentials nor do we want the hassle of typing them in when we open the app.. There should be an option for the app to store the credentials if you decide to do so. This is all funny money after all.

And what about those of us who use this for their children who have wifi tablets. They now will not be able to access their account...Not a good choice.

This app is good and my kids like being able to see how they are making and spending their money. However, what appears to be a MAJOR flaw is not being able to deal in cents. Will give 5 stars once this is corrected!! Revised: 9/16/15 After bug fixes app works great!! Thanks!!!

This app used to be perfect but since the last update I have been unable to get it to function properly. Fix it and I'll give it a good review again. Add the ability to use it without data connection and I will give it the 5 stars that it deserves.

AWESOME customer service. Very responsive developer. BEST kids bank app by far (and I researched/tested this extensively, even paying for one lousy one).

Love this app. Its fast enough when I have a 4G connection. I use this to make sure I don't forget to give my kids their allowance on a weekly basis. When the kids get a check from someone (e.g. birthday gift), we add the money to their Bankaroo account and deposit the funds into our account. When the kids want to buy something they ask us how much "bankaroo money" they have and then decide if they really want to buy it or not. Also use it to pay them for walking the dog and other little "ways to earn money." AND, now that they have tablets, they can see their account whenever they want. Love it!

The data connection is so slow, real problem. I like the simplicity and look of the app, exactly what I was hoping for. If it could be available on & offline & data connection wasn't so slow I wouldn't have to uninstall it.

I wanted this app, but the when I'm done with my info sec. I can't find the finish button. P.S. fix it.

I would like the option to do less than $1 increments...
