After using it more than 4 years, today I unlinked all accounts and deleted the app. To stay updated, the app logins often (as it should be) to the accounts but this causes the passwords expire very quickly because each password is valid for a certain number of logins (80 logins for Hellobank for example). Also, it doesn't bring an important value with the free version. Better stick with the native bank apps. The last thing is lack of dark mode. Thanks Bankin, for serving me so far.
Uninstalling. I've had it. Some of my accounts have not updated for a week now and that's not the first time. These guys seems more interested in throwing their opportunities and growth stuff (which is nothing but disguised ads) down my throat than to keep the core of the app working. Update: Checked again and they have upped their fraudulent "suggestions" that you cannot avoid. They've slso added a bunch of annoying buttons where they want you to use their app for transactions etc.
It's a nice app, but it needs improvements. For the moment it just aggregate your bank accounts. It would be nice to be able to also create manual accounts and manage them like other apps (AndroMoney or Wallet, for instance), or to also manage Tickets Restaurant inside, or cash money, or create custom budgets...well, to be more free to operate, I mean. Now we need to use more than one app to do all of this
hello, there is a huge problem, I'm not sure if you updated recently. I've been looking at my finances of 2018 and there's something weird: all of my january 2019 transaction appear in each month of 2018, making it hard to see an overview of this year's finances. October even has all "salaries" that followed. When I did my monthly cursory check it wasn't like that. This makes it hard to use the app for its intended purpose.
I've been using it for a few years, it's a little less aesthetic than other apps of this type but I find it easy and practical to use. Though something is bothering me. Why would you put Pets under Entertainment?! Pets are part of the family, it shouldn't appear under Entertainment in our monthly reports! It looks like I'm partying too hard when I'm just feeding my pets. Edit: This was an old review (2020) that I edited but I have switched to another app since then. Thanks for replying anyway.
I really want to like this app as it has a lot going for it. However, I have had a technical issue open since September last year regarding a problem budgets I also think the categories are a mess - other apps allow full customization including deleting, adding, moving and amending categories and subcategories (in the app you can only add). However, this app charges you €10 per month and you can't even choose a cute icon for your category /subcategory - the icon for all new categories is a pen!

I've enjoyed using Bankin' and keep finding extra features making it even better. I've been using the trial run and decided I was keen to upgrade to the full shebang but was shocked to see it costs 20€ a month!!! So I won't be upgrading... Ironic seeing as the app is meant to help you cut back on expenses......
The app pretty much stopped syncing my accounts. I tried removing and re-adding them, but now everytime I do so I get a notification that tells me my accounts are syncing and it might take a few hours - which actually never ends. It was nice while it worked - kinda useless now that it does not.
It seems to be a great app, but unfortunately too frequently I bumped into screens fully in French. As an English speaker, I ended up with a big question mark about what was going on. If you're going to open for more markets (apart from the French), please make sure at least English is properly covered up. I can't pay for an app that I won't be able to use in its entirety.

I originally reviewed this app over a year ago, and unfortunately I was having issues. I'm still having the same stupid problem. Don't download this app if you don't speak French. Half of the app is in French. The overview of my finances ('activities' page), whole pages are in French which I can read, so what's the point. You can't interact with the app. I live in London and have a UK SIM.
This is a great app that really helps you take charge of your finances! It's daily notifications and emails have really helped me stay on top of my account and how much I'm spending, and the analysis of my budget has really helped me stay focused and save where I need to. I love this app!
Almost no features in free version. Very few additional features and customization for a huge price per month or year. It is weigh too expensive for what it is...
Very useful app, I can see my accounts within few clicks and has categories for my expenses, exactly what I needed. Also has a budget calculated for you each month. But not everything is free.
The app seems useful, however since I deleted my pro account, all my personal accounts stopped working (I did not delete them!). And I did not get any response from the support. In the end, after 5 days, I still cannot use Bankin. I will edit this review when I can finally use the application. Update : the frustration is such that I downgraded my review note even further. Fortunately for Bankin it cannot go down any further now.
Good application to manage your money 💰💰 Recuring tab and budgets are great feature to have a quick look at what's coming 🥸 Would be awesome if I could also make bank transfer to friends, I can only do internal one (living in France and bank at credit agricole).
The App looks very nice and could be great to manage multiple bank accounts. Unfortunately it is not fully translated. I don't speak french, but so many screens are french and I have no clue what the app wants from me. Really too bad.
Onboarding is designed extremely badly. After installing the app, very first screen is "enter email". Ok, fine. Very next screen is - "enter password."! Huh? Not a signup page, but a login page. Where are the users supposed to create the account? And why is login page divided into two separate pages anyway? Anyway, I went to their website and created an account and THEN I learn that this app doesn't support any American bank at all!! Why is this app offered in USA at all?
Spamming a lot even after removing all bank accounts. There service is too agressive and it's almost impossible to get access to the preferences to unsubscribe. I manage to reach the account setting to try to find the "delete my account". The dark patterns in there are aweful and I need 5 steps to finally delete my account... I think...
Does not support Saxo Bank, contrary to its competitors. Too bad because apart from that, the application is really good!
The data export does not work...tried many times today I am still waiting for that email that contains the csv report
Always comes back on the bank optimization even if already set up my bank, then you can t add a part for your cash money. It also screw my web access for my hsbc. It asked the memorable question but we don t know which one as there is 3, it made too much attempts and so now i have to spend time calling my bank to fix that!! Thanks to develop properly the connection
I like the app layout and the potential of this app, especially the bank sync feature. However, I will come back to the app when my bank (ING in The Netherlands) is added to the list. Will ING Nederland be added to the list, and when?
Terrible. Almost no banks supported. Also forcibly everything's in French.
Very useful app overall. I love the improvement suggestions, the integration with my bank account and the budgeting functionality. I highly recommend it!
good app i use for years now. I like to have a global view on all my accounts! a bit annoying with all the suggestion, optimisations stuff and such, but i can understand that. Still, have been annoyed by sudden synch problem, time to time. (today, for some reason, the app was empty, no accounts, no data, nothing. all the infos, and synch worked again later. I'm working to synchronize all my accounts again at the moment. this kind of little problem is annoying
