Easy to use, however I'd don't like the highlighted "total amount available" (checking), which includes the overdraft protection. Your eyes are drawn to it quickly, your TRUE balance is in small black print. It should be the other way around. Small black print for total available..... and the Bold Large print for my True Balance.
I've been using this app for years, and never had any issues. I downloaded the most recent update (6.2.3.0) and the app crashes every time I open it now :( hopefully there's a fix on the horizon. When it does work though, its a pretty well designed and handled app.
Most horrible mind numbing experience I ever felt. Every time I try to deposit a check, there is always something that the system can't read even though printed perfectly. Takes about 20 tries to deposit every check. Doesn't matter if personal check or business check. If I could give zero stars I would.
Overall great. Current balance should top not included with over draft protection amount. Truly the overdraft amount is not my personal funds. It's only there for just in case purposes. I work hard to not have to use it. Some people may log in and see the highlighted green numbers and think, oh that's how much in my account. When truly it's not your amount.
I love this app, very user friendly, once you adjust to the overdraft protection amount, and it fluctuates, for some reason but great app, makes my life easier.
The notifications only work when you log into the app even with push turned on. Also mobile deposit rarely works. I constantly gave them rejected and have to go to the branch across town or take off work to go to the one by my office thats only open 9-12. Completely defeats the purpose of the app. BankPlus needs to work on this.
Very easy to login, view transactions, and transfer money between accounts. Very easy user friendly App. Tried mobile deposit. Seems easy enough after reading a book. Still like the App.
This app is good to see pending action but it does not update balance, does not update debit usages and treats them like a credit charge. You may see a balance of so much in your account but in reality you could be 4x that much in the negative if u dont check with bank regularly.
Not sure if it's the app or the bank but it's slow at reporting. It doesn't configure pending charges into the balance. I see a deposit that morning, mid afternoon it's disappeared from the feed and reappears the next day.
Love this app! But, I would love it even more if the self focus function for mobile deposit photos actually focused closer on the check and less of the surface surrounding the check so that the details are crystal clear within the 1st 3 tries of a mobile deposit!
The "current" and "available" funds are constantly wonky. Previous version of the app was much more user-friendly in that area. Very disappointed in the new "upgrade".
Took very clear pictures and had the check properly endorsed with mobile deposit under signature and it kept requiring me to take another picture. Took another picture 4 times before it finally accepted the deposit. All my other banks process these mobile deposits very quickly and easily. This BP app is a real PAIN!
I love this app it's very easy to navigate and the mobile check deposit is great it guides you through the process quickly, only issue is sometimes the automatic check capture looses focus and you have retry several times to finally deposit your check.
everything is fine excpet for depositing checks. after it takes a picture of your check, it doesnt accept it sometimes. the quality is so bad. then it takes 24 hrs to deposit the check. regions and priority deposit it immediately. could have a better design. It takes a lot snapping noise too when taking pics
Transactions are not updated in real time and I was told by the bank that what shows in the app may be different from what I would see on a computer. There is no need for a mobile app if i can not get real time and accurate information.
App worked fine before today. I've uninstalled and reinstalled. The app keeps crashing after my password is entered. Now I have to use a web browser to look at my account. Not sure what the deal is.
Had a bad experience with a teller on hwy51 today. I've always deposited my check for over 6 months now which consisted of going into the branch. She was unprofessional. Here associate had a beard and they made me feel like I was being judged because of my car and the check had my business name on it made payable to me. Good credit and overdraft protection at its best. My people etc... Thanks for this process. No dealing with those kind of people. This was the first of a new beginning for me.
Love the mobile deposit feature. Great to be able to check balances, transfer between accounts, pay bills online. Now, if they could figure out how to make the app a mobile ATM, that would be a 10-star app!!
This app saves me money in fuel: I do not need to fight traffic to go to the bank, but rather I can get off work at a normal time and deposit my paycheck, even though the bank is closed. This app is a great utilization of the powers of modern technology.
Not to bad of a bank app! It is no BOA app that's for sure but it is the best one I could find for a Bank in Mississippi! It has mobile check deposit that works and fingerprint authentication sign in that works well. As far as I know Bankplus is the only Mississippi Bank in Clarke County even has fingerprint authentication for their Android app!
There was a system update that took place on Thursday September 9, 2021 through Sunday September 12 2021. From that point on, the bank, the application and the service has declined. I think that the "service interruption" was not to better serve it's account holders, but to slow our transactions down and to make more money for the banking institution. I hate it!! They really need to return to the style of banking that people need and had grown accustomed to.
This app logs you put periodically and then you cannot get back in even if the info is correct. You then have to call into customer service which is only open during business hours.
Everything with this app is on point ,but the deposit part is still needing attention as far as it goes because if you can't use the mobile deposit after u done signed it for mobile only the bank want except the check for in house deposit
App is never right doesn't ever match what bank says. The bank will say stuff has cleared your account or is pending but yet their app does not show that. It will not show some things in your account 1-2 weeks. The app will show you have money bank will tell you that you don't and charge late fees. Never trust this app.
The check deposit part of the app could be vastly improved. No matter how well you match a check up with the on screen prompts, it comes out off-centered and typically takes 2 to 3 tries to capture a picture that doesn't prompt a review/retake message. And I hate hate hate the sound when you take the picture. There should at least be an option to turn the sound off
