The only reason I give 4 not 5 stars is that the banner bank authentication process is flawed. They give you an option to receive the code but text, but it never comes through so I always have to choose the email, which is okay, but I've wasted too much time waiting for that function to work... Otherwise I have found the app very helpful and functional.

Multiple difficulties using photo direct deposit. I can input the amount but it wont allow me to take a picture to deposit the check. I checked my setting make sure it has proper access but always end up depositing at the bank. I put 3 because it does have a lot of access features but can be a bit too much which takes longer to load.

I'm new to the app but not to the bank, customer service is pretty good, haven't had any problems even made a deposit with Snapshot everything showed up within minutes. To be continued... UPDATE 3/19/22 no more free checking, been a customer for over 20 years. Your apps gone and I'm closing my account goodbye.

Tried to open app this afternoon and it won't let me in. Worked this morning but not anymore. Update: Cotacted Banner on my ipad through their chat and reported problem. Just checked and app now works on my phone again. Thank you. (4/04/2022) update--when I tried to use app over weekend the app wouldn't recognize my phone and I was told by bank that when my phone updates the app doesn't recognize the phone. Doesn't happen to any other app on my phone, just this app. Not good actions for a bank.

The user interface is simple and easy to use, the information one would use on a daily basis just a swipe or tap away, making navigating the app fast and satisfying.

Generally works well and provides me the same view and functionality as the website. Has added features like snapshot deposits which have made depositing checks 100x easier. Early on was a little buggy but has come together nicely over time

I just installed the app again and the app is telling me to upgrade, but in the play store I only have the option to uninstall and open. So I uninstalled, installed, open and the app tells me the same thing. Something is wrong. It is easy to view all the info and easy to maneuver, but I can't stand the helpful tip on how to search that appears at the top of the screen every time I click on my account. Every time I have to X out to get rid of it. When will it stop appearing?

I really like this app. I can check my balance, whether a check or debit has posted, transfer funds from savings to checking or vice versa. The only thing I do NOT like, is how it's really wonky during the night. Things are shown completely out of order, deposits are missing and it often shows me in an overdraft when I'm not. Very frustrating to say the least! Especially when trying to plan.

Rarely shows accurate account balance, p2p rarely works, a quicker fingerprint login would be helpful, and when you search for a specific transaction it shows related transactions for a second then adds a bunch of unrelated ones (that don't even contain what you typed) and you have to scroll through to find what you're looking for. Other than that, I like the variety of features and options.

I find alert set up very clunky and so time consuming to set up. Also getting multiple alerts each day when there has been no change in transactions is pretty annoying. I'd like to get 1 alert when a transaction the registered. I get several alerts when balance is below a given level, but does not show what the transaction is that led to the alert. Alert messages are too lengthy with info I could care less about. I'd like to see the types of alerts that my previous bank provided. Easy set up, very straight forward. and no multiple alerts that are not needed for the same transactions.

6/17/2020 - I did call as suggested and told it is a known issue... same thing I was told last month. Just can't believe this is taking so long to fix... Maybe roll back to a previous version that worked?! Update 6/16/2020 - STILL BROKEN! Both the app and website still gives the same error as it did almost one month ago! Can't believe it is not fixed! The app is broken, and so is their website. I select a transaction date from their calendar and it gives me an error, saying I need to enter a valid date. Not the first time I have had problems with their app.

I like the fingerprint login feature, and most functions are easy to use. The snapshot deposit feature is unusable for me, because it doesn't seem to use any of my phone's features built into the camera. It can't seem to zoom or focus, so every picture I try and take turns out blurry and unreadable by the app.

When it works, its a good app. I can use it to do simple banking tasks that would otherwise require a trip to the bank. There have been times when it won't connect to the bank's server and the only work around is to uninstall and re-install the app. I imagine it has something to do with security features that Banner goes totally overboard with. I don't need a text confirmation AND a phone call after every task performed online. I think this is the root of the apps hiccups.

It's a very effective and usable app, but there remains a lack of polish and integration that only rates 4 stars. I do like the up-front short-cuts to important and commonly used features like Snapshot Deposits, and I also like the small but helpful additions to the Bill Pay feature. Still, Bill Pay looks and feels tacked on, and the search feature in the account view gets in the way of directly viewing recent transactions. An overall UI refresh would get that 5th star!

Extremely unreliable app. You can never trust the amount it says is in your actual account because their system is so poor that it can be completely different from the number listed. If you have to check your balance over the weekend, good luck. Also, they are constantly performing "maintenance" on their servers. I don't know what for, since there are never any changes and the app just seems to get worse. My suggestion, just go to am ATM and skip this poor excuse for an app.

exceptional app! I love most of it. The bill pay could be more user friendly, it is difficult to change things in it, I always have to zoom in on the screen to see when I try to make changes and the set up in bill pay makes quick observations nearly obsolete. Everything else is great!

I like everyone else can not log into my account! This has been going on for over 2 weeks now. I've had to uninstall and reinstall the app several times and now it won't even download to install. Very frustrating to say the least! update 1/2/19 - In response to Banner saying my app is out dated, I have updated my app and it is the latest version and it STILL does not work!

Isn't very user friendly as far as I'm concerned... I'm happy that this app has many useful features, but navigating this app, even getting it set up so it linked up with our other Banner accounts was really frustrating! I'm sorry if this offends anyone, but my fiancée and I have had terrible experiences with customer service/tech support for this app-either one of us can't understand the person's accent!

When there is access to the banks servers, this app works extremely well. Too often when signing in to my account I receive the message that my internet access is slow and a login is being attempted. And login fails. There is never a problem with my internet speed at any of these times. I travel alot and need use of the app. I may change banks if this persists

as of late, within the past few months. I have not been able to see my transactions as they appear. I use Zelle to move money back and forth between people and it used to show up instantly. Now, it wont show when money has been deposited and it wont update any transaction information. Inconvenient and incredibly annoying. I'm considering leaving this bank souly because the app is unreliable.

The app let's you log in once then you have to uninstall and reinstall it to log in again. This issue started before December and it's now almost February. It shouldn't take months for a financial institution to repair their banking app. Also the dropping of the atm fee refund is garbage. Seriously looking at new banks. My experience with banner has gotten worse and worse over the last 3 years and that's disappointing since I've been banking with banner for almost 10 years.

The last update broke something for sure. The accepted workaround is to uninstall and reinstall but is not needed. If you close the app then go into Apps and find the Banner App then click on storage. Then clear cache. Once that is done then the app works and loads properly one time. Second time back to the same issue. Clear Cache again and it works again. Been doing that for a month.

Have not been able to connect to mobile app since Saturday morning, 4/25, after 'maintenance' was done. I've uninstalled and reinstalled 8 times. I've tried 3 different wireless connections I've restarted my phone 4 times I've turned phone off and back on 4 times I can access account on web, just not the app. All my other apps work fine. This happens frequently, so very frustrating!

Always can't access or transfer funds always working on app app is slow inaccurate /late balances . Becarefull you look theres money look again it's totally differt . I hate the app. . Don't trust it.
