You can also download the Bar Harbor Card Control app, which helps protect your debit card from fraud. The app lets you to turn your card on and off, set custom alerts, and more.
GETTING STARTED
To use the Bar Harbor Mobile App, you must be enrolled as an Bar Harbor Bank and Trust Internet Banking user. If you currently use our Internet Banking, simply download the app, launch it, and login with the same Internet Banking credentials. After you successfully login to the app, your accounts and transactions will begin updating.

I get locked out all the time. I have to change my password all the time. My BOA app isn't like this one at all.
The app is handy and convenient, to an extent. However, it doesn't maintain an accurate, real-time picture of the user's account, which makes it less than helpful. Furthermore, the mobile deposit feature is an utterly useless tool that fails to accomplish the goal of ensuring funds are cleared in a timely manner on occasions when getting to the bank physically is difficult.

I love this app.! It's very beneficial, especially setting the account notifications....As long as u set your notification preference to lyk when a deposit is posted above $5 you will never have to check to see if something has been credited to your account. It notifies u through email, text and in app message. It's great!!!
The app works great when it works, but internet issues can delay deposits, so be careful not to count your funds until they have absolutely cleared and been credited (which can take several days to catch up with the app). Also make sure you update it regularly.

The app is decent. Transfers made easy. I wish it had an option to freeze my debit card. I like to travel but I also like to know that my account is safe. With being able to freeze my card, my card wouldn't be able to be used in fraudulent purchases.
It would be nice when I take a picture of the front of a check to deposit that the app would stay open. Each time it shuts down, I sign in, and then it shuts down again. I have not problems with other banking apps in this regard.
App has always been good till now. When i make purchases i look thru app to check balance and nothing is shown as spent or used on my account till yhe following day or day after. It says its fully updated but ive used it at stores that put a hold on money automatically and it still doesnt show till couples days after. Never had a problem till now.
Have not been able to use this app yet because I can not access the account the Bar Harbor bank set up for me. This has happened twice already! The bar harbor banking site says the password or user id is invalid! That is why I do very little banking with this bank! Their Telebanking is the same way! The local branch tried helping me three times with the same results!
This app sucks. I'm always have problems with the app updating and failing to sync. It's not on my end as it says "something went wrong on our end, please try again later." What's the point of a mobile app if it doent even work half the time?

Easy to use and has never crashed on me.
I realize that the internet sucks sometimes but this app has been going through updates for the past 24 hours I know because I called the bank and ask them if anything was wrong with the app and they told me yes they periodically go through maintenance and updates without updating their customers or calling them so bottom line is you either need to fix the app 0 or start from scratch and I know part of it could be Comcast but I never had an issue with the app before please get your act together
Good solid app, very easy to use, no launch issues. Plenty of help on how to use the app and betu user friendly. Just takes a while to update account info occasionally
Zelle vanished and now I can't pay my damn rent thanks.
Easy to use
Excellent app. Only problem is plaid won't work for these accounts due to the authentication requirement. Just make a chase account then link it to this checking and problem bypassed. You're welcome.
Works well and I can balance my accounts on the go.
App is helpful, however around 9pm-11pm every night it tells me I have several hundred extra dollars in my account for some reason and then it corrects itself. Just a weird bug. But still annoying lol.
Unnecessary Overdraft Fees- Their app shows what's the available balance, but when I transfer the funds to another account they charge overdraft fees because it's technically still pending. Then why show my balance as available funds? It's ridiculous.
I love Bar harbor banks mobile app. Deposit checks, transfer funds, and pay debts. All from my phone. Not that I don't like seeing you guys from time to time. Lol. Thanks guys.. and gals!!
I like the bar harbor app. But sometimes it don't up date and I have to call the bank. I like that u can transfer money . I'm still learning how to use the app but so far so good.
Very helpful, pretty good design, but hard to get the app working/linked to account initially, would be nice if you could do this easily without help of bank employee
It's a great app but I can never log in because it's always logging me out and it's a pain to get in I have to go into the bank to reset it, but I wish it wasn't so difficult because I'd use it a lot.
Great App! Very stable and easy to use. Very safe and secure. I can transfer money between my accounts and so much more without an act of God.
Works fast for when you need to do your personal banking. Would like to be able to order a money order or cashiers check for pick up during these times.
This is the worst banking app I have ever used. It's never up to date, I'm constantly wondering if my balance is updated. I'm switching banks. This is the worst .
