controls while fighting and healing are horrible, then you need to sleep so often you barely have time to explore or talk/trade with an npc, but otherwise its a great game!
The best rpg game for android. l love this game because the computer characters live their lives even when I dont see them. Its amazing. Good job developers. Improve the game.
At first I wasn't keen, cus the game looks cheap. But after some time it was quite engrossing. The graphics aren't great, but considering it's only in V0.9.0. I think it's a good game. Imagine after several updates! Bad points: game isn't smooth. The blood is a bit excessive. The game has to reload every time you check your home screen. And in-app purchases are ridiculously expensive!
I would definitely play this in the future once its more polished but not right now. First of all, there are words that are not in English. The grammatical mistakes are minor errors that are tolerable but its just worth pointing out. The gameplay is messy. The camera is forced to be directly aligned with the way you go which it should not be. The enemies in the beginning are way too hard. The trick to making the players play the game longer is to make the first part easy. Work on it. Good luck.
a very solid idea. i like the combat and the different interactions with characters. it looks like you need a good english translator, though. also, please let the character able to move in all direcrions while not in combat. over all, the game needs a LOT of polish, but it's a really cool game so far. im glad to see developers actually no being afraid to take on ambitious projects.
You're forced on one path and if you don't like it or mess up, you have to watch ads and start back at your last save point. Edit. I have never played either of the games you mentioned, but I have played the old school PC games like King's Quest, Castle Wolfenstein and Wasteland. The most current PC game that I have played is EQ2. While I understand being a work in progress, the game overall as some potential.
I've been playing this game for a few days now, and I gotta say while it does have plenty of old school RPG charm, the level of difficulty early on may turn some people away from it. The main problem I'm having with Barbarian is that it seems like the game wants you to die, filling the map with high level enemies when you've only got a club or a shoddy sword to start with. My guess is the more you die, the more ads you'll be persuaded to watch in order to resurrect where you fell.
Why can't there be more games like this? Single player, open world, and OFFLINE !!! Character changes appearance, levels and skills up. Cool style of items and great controls regardless whatever anyone else says. An extra free save slot would be cool because I've lost my character but, you deserve whatever you can earn for making -Barbarian- : ) Thanks man. PS - controls are PERFECT don't change a thing 👍
Can only play tutorial. Game crashes after that everytime starting a new game no matter what settings. Really want to give this a try the tutorial seemed promising. Edit: thanx 4 reply but already tried on lowest settings and my device should be able to handle it. Still crashes after tutorial which works well btw. Edit2 got working on phone. Not sure why not working on tablet,only a little older but more power. Its a fantastic game for a mobile. Just needs better inventory then it will be 5*.
It is a good game, but the control designs are very simple. I really wanted you to change the designs to look more old school. The reason i love this game because it has a good npc interaction and easy controls. But my suggestion are changing the designs on menu, loading screen and control designs.
Hello bar bar games i think your game Barbarian is sucsessful. There are a few things i want. First i would like to see the animations changed to be more realistic and cool looking. Next i would like to have difficulty levels to that you could change in the menu. After that i want decorations like in houses, the,city and the world. The last thngs are when atacking a target i want to have bodies sliced when you fight. also snow,sand areas and more added to the word.(download plz)
Not the best iv seen, certainly NOT the worst. Only been playing about an hour or so. So far the biggest issue iv encountered is the controls. The lack of a 6 or 8 axis movement is frustrating the simple 4 axis is not going to do, even a simple strafe(dont know if thats how its spelled) would do wonders. A pintch zoom+ or zoom- would do nicely also. Other then that all in all not bad.
OUTSTANDING. Only, there should still be sound effects for the no-blood mode. Tribally painted face and helmets should be an option. It's engaging and can also be hilarious- like when the townsfolk form a mob to rid you of a nuisance! X-D Word to the wise: Whether you want to be a noble hero or a berserker, eliminating everything in sight, you'd better have a plan!
This is very good for such a small size and an indie game! This is pretty much one of my favorite mobile RPGs yet! There are some problems tho, it needs a bigger map, needs to have a way of selling unlimited items so people can earn money faster, a book about all species, more species, and some spelling fixes to the lines that characters say. I am also impressed that it isn't abandoned like most mobile offline old school RPGs like this. Especially an indie one like this. I recommend to play it!

All the complaints about this game are pretty silly. if youve ever played an adventure rpg then theres really no excuse for not knowing what to do. So many people who only want instant gratification, as opposed to people who remember how to play video games before they all purposely became money pits. i find the game so much more enjoyable when theres thought, analyzing, planning and replanning, so satisfying whe you win, if find that secret path...etc. etc....
I actually would have given it 5 stars if it hadn't been for one single glitch - the game stops unexpectedly during gameplay and all data us lost . Other than this , it's perfect. Keep it up 👍. Just give the bug a little attention and it would be a perfect and great game.
This is the kind of game I enjoy. Run around, discover new areas, fight things, and level up. I like the idea of watching an ad to resurrect my character or refill my health. Explore every nook and cranny. It reminds me a lot of the old Gothic RPGs. It's got potential, I'll give it that. And the devs are making little improvements all the time. I encourage you to make a purchase to support the developers and remove the ads. And if the developers need an English editor, I'd be happy to help.
I love this game, it's awesome!! But i would love to see an update of the game, increase quest, provide more people in the city, provide much things for combat and increase the extent of the map, let there be ships, being able to move to other highlands!! Thanks to the producers. An interesting game,i would wait for the updates!! Anyone seeing this comment, do download the game, you would love it.♥️♥️
It is a good game, simple but fun. My only issue is that there is some glitch here or bug, when you fight and get closer to some terrain it will automatically climb up and then jump high then you would lose a lot of your HP.
