BARBRI Study Plan

I cannot believe that a program that charges $2,500 (midtier with an early pricing) has an app this bad. It's clearly designed with an old iOS theme. Not to mention you cannot download the audio only on some of the video lectures, and the ones that you can will randomly stop the audio every 30 seconds. As for the videos you can download, sometimes it works right away other times you have to download it multiple times. It will try and play the video over WiFi/data instead of the video file.

So far I have been able to watch the videos. It crashes sometimes but generally plays where I left off on my laptop. Barbri says they will release a new version before summer classes start but they have not done so as of May 14. If they deliver more functionality in key areas then I will increase my rating. The app is super limited. Compared to the desktop version, this version is worthless. I have a full screen of assignments that I cannot complete on the mobile version.

This app has wonderful content and is very easy to use. However, the lecture videos will stop after 5 minutes. Once the video stops, you have to exit out the video and reopen it in order for it to play again. I have emailed Barbri so they can fix this issue, but I never received a response. If Barbri fixes the video issue, I will change my rating from a 2 to a 4.

There's a number of issues with this app. Perhaps the biggest issue is that it isn't giving me the option to download lectures, which is the whole reason I downloaded this app! The app claims this can be done by clicking a small download button, but that button doesn't exist in my version of the app. The table of contents bar also won't go away during video lectures. It also won't switch to landscape mode. Ps-this is also happening with the app on iPad.

It's ok. Convenient on the go, better for multiple choice problem sets. It often cuts out of the lectures forcing to restart the app and try to find where I left off. This even happens if I download the audio lecture on to my phone. Sometimes happens on multiple choice but rarely. I also noticed the Barbri program sometime miscounts my study hours per day. It sometimes will count two days into one making it look like I studied 30-40 hours in one day.

This app needs a serious update to the functionality of its video player. It's hard to fast forward and rewind is needed as the bar for the length of the video is stuck at one portion of the side of the screen so it's hard to fast forward or wine to a specific point furthermore the video sometimes will continue to play even after you exit the video.

Constantly unable to download lectures. I work full time and try to study during lunch, but being unable to download the lectures makes it difficult to utilize my time. It is not a data connection or memory storage issue. I've tried on multiple wifi networks and I have about 100 gigs of memory available on my phone.

The lectures won't buffer. The whole point of a mobile app is to use it on the go. Even with an excellent wifi signal and/or 4g cell connection the lectures stop playing every 5 minutes and do not resume even when played audio only on normal speed. This is extremely disappointing considering in my experience alternative study tools such as quimbee and themis don't have the issues. For the money Barbri charges you think they would provide a functional app.

App is a decent supplement to the web based program. Biggest room for improvement would be allowing the lecture to play in the background or when the screen locks. I supplement my study by relistening to the lectures during walks and my commute, and it is challenging to keep the app open when placing my phone in my pocket.

This app is so slow it's almost useless. Also there are still some assignments you can't do on it like the AMP for early start. Also, if you try to go ahead to the next days work it freaks out and doesn't show the right work for the right day and has issues loading content. Please fix!

Previously wasn't able to view or download videos at all. Latest update they have been touting as fixing everything has instead made it so the app crashes immediately on opening. The reviews speak for themselves - if you want a functional app for bar review, look elsewhere. Barbri doesn't have one.

Two star for the app, though I do generally like Barbri's lectures. The app logs me out after every session and for some reason also started crashing on a regular basis. It's pretty frustrating when I'm trying to get a few practice questions in here and there and only have a few minutes to spare.

Whatever issues I was having before are fixed. I can easily check my to-do list on the go, watch lecturrs, and I can answer practice questions, too! I wasn't planning on being "on the go" so much during bar prep, but life doesn't stop. Glad I can access my materials right from my phone.

Completely useless. Won't even display the schedule of assignments, so I can't do anything. It just says "No assignments are scheduled for today" (false) and then I get a pop-up message that says "An Unexpected Error has occurred"

The modules can't be played in the background, none of the video functions work (pause, play, rewind, fast forward), and there's no way to adjust the app's settings anymore. This app is a nightmare.

Worked for one day, now it won't even sign me in (my username and password are correct, but it just times out). I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, and changing my password, but nothing. For what Barbri costs, I would expect the app to work.

Material is good, but app is awful. Keeps saying I don't have internet connection to load materials when all my other apps are using the internet connection just fine. Have tried restarting the app, reinstalling the app, and resetting my phone. Nothing seems to work

Really disappointed the new update removed the ability to see and jump to different sections within a video. Also, neither video or audio will play if you turn your screen off. Clunky.

Entirely useless for any purpose of having a mobile version. You can't speed up downloaded lectures, and 2X speed rarely works. Honestly not surprised given most of the legal field is technologically in 2006.

Basically useless, only thing it lets you do is complete some of the practice questions sets. The download lectures feature isn't working and they don't appear to be doing anything about it.

Useless app that doesn't do much at all...goes hand in hand with an equally lousy website that doesn't play the video lectures either. A terrible waste of time and money (for the course).

Very Helpful & I Love it!! I'm guess the "bugs" were fixed because I've never had any issues with this app on my phone or laptop. I use it as my main source of study and I've been able to maintain good grades.
