App has surprisingly good UI and no ads (my free edition). But I have not been able to figure out how to copy lists I've created from one phone to another, can't find dividend yield, and most annoying the Y price axis is too small to see on anything better than a basic smart phone. App has not been updated in years.
The best app programming I have ever seen! Everything on the free website is included here. The charting, analyst buy & sell recommendations, analytics, all like the website. Everything is accurate and all runs smoothly. I have 20 years in IT work, everything from Levels 1 to 3 phone support to analyst to trainer and I have never seen such an all-inclusive, easy to navigate and totally bug free software; even from the big companies. Congratulations!
The app generally works very well..Several minutes behind real time stock price quotes but most are. But it's convenient and fairly easy to use. Have trouble removing stocks that I no longer follow from the list I use.
Wish it were easier to pull up ALL listed contracts within a futures instrument(like Crude or Cattle)on one click. Would also like for it to be easier to enlarge then lock-hold into place different chart-sizing, the size of the display and not just the further number of sessions available to be displayed. Overall however, this is still an excellent and superb financial information resource!
Very reliable with...well prepared and well analyzed technicalities...wow! Thank you so much for having this kind of app.....God bless always to the deleveloper and the rest of your team... More power to you all...
I like most of white bar chart does but they need to clean up their charts. It's cluttered with penny Stocks. It defaults to settings you don't have. For example if you set the time bar to 3 months hit enter it gets to your data for one month. Then you have to change it. I wish they could divide it between the major exchanges in the OTC in the penny stocks that just clutter everything up
The info and data from the app is very useful, and much appreciated. However, the app is very clunky to use and does not have screening abilities like the website has.
Awesome app. Free and powerful. Using it to check futures and individual ticker fundamentals. Has very nice support and resistance analysis under the traders' "cheat sheet."
I have used the Barchart app for nearly 24/7/365 since 2013. It is definitely the best app for watchlists & portfolio(s). I used many other Market apps & none, except Yahoo's finance app, have the features of Barchart. The only drawback, IMHO, is the inability to use Samsung's Smart Switch app to copy my lists to a new phone, tablet or computer. This was discovered when I recently upgraded my phone & tried to copy my Barchart entries from old phone to new phone. I will attempt other options.
Very comprehensive! This app has become my go to for watching stocks, doing research, and managing my portfolio! One thing I did notice is that I get logged out daily and have to log back in. Not sure if this is an issue that was brought up before and is being addressed, but that would be great to fix.
Convenient, reliable, in-depth, quick charts, comprehensive with respect to stocks, international stocks, and futures.
Surprisingly useful compared to similar apps. Excels at quick handy watchlists of multiple asset classes (stock futures forex) and comprehensive futures contract lists. Info pages have several features not found elsewhere, such as traders worksheet. Wide variety of screeners, fundamental and technical data, options prices. Adding this to my stable of market apps (no app does it all) for the unique way it presents info.
Don't update this app! Newest update breaks connection if you are on Android 5.1! I use this and one other app for the supplier of all of my investment data. The support is excellent, too. The only complaint I have is that I don't trade Forex, but I do trade options! The application should allow you to choose what data you want and then display it on the main tabs.
The app is a good representation of the website and contains many of the same useful features. My only gripes are that only two indicators are available for use at one time and that the charts are really small and don't zoom. This app is nicely done.
Very useful app. Has all data and statistics needed for stock analysis when researching a ticker. Keeps all of the latest news, financials, market cap, volume, discussions, and etc. A really good setup to help when determining if any potential in a stock. Recommend using before buying a stock. I use this app with several others as a cross reference to be sure information relates and corresponds.
Easy to use, fast, nice clear charts even on a cell phone. Most all the studies and information features the desktop version has. Would like to see Camarillo and standard pivot point studies added, though.
I'm a premium feature user. Although the desktop experience is good, the app is pretty limited. Still showing that I need to pay to remove ads and have access to strategy. What was the point of asking me to validate my membership and don't give me anything else? Where are the screener that I created in the desktop version? Waste of time really with this app.
This is a good app in general, however, a few issue exist...landscape mode has a zoom button that covers important info at the lower right corner; it does not allow certain graph settings like it does on the desktop version, such as option to select 5, 15, etc minutes; also the quote is not real time, and some quote such as sp index lags for as much as one day.
Generally a decent finance app. Not up to the standards of those financial apps that require a subscription, but as I mentioned, good enough. Timely information in the national and international induces, and a range of current articles. Can also create basic watch.lists. Overall worth considering as part of a small library of financial information.
Real-time data, ease of use and informative. I use it for Futures. Very useful app.
A nice app with nice charts. It would be nice to zoom in ( premium feature suggestion) to a 1 , 3 and five minute chart connected to a futures broker. Also there is no cross- hair and can't seem to find it. The CTS T4 is my favorite, though.
Not very usable for me will stick to web page. It works ok after initial login but then you can't see portfolios or watch list. Message provides link to log into web site even though already logged into app. Have to log out of app and back in everytime I use it to see my data. Can't sort columns you have to take info as provided. I like to sort on daily change for example. App doesn't support it. Web is better. App not useful for me. Won't be using it.
I can't find a better option, but some of the technicals (turtle trenches) are missing for no obvious reason. Also, I have an issue where rotating the screen will cause the graph to only take up about 2/3 of the screen horizontally.
Prices on intraday charts are unreadable because the font is so tiny. Please increase the font size to a more readable one.
Similar to desktop experience which has excellent content but the charts are almost illegible. The X/Y axis fonts are way too small (on phone and even tablet).
Love the app to get ideas, then use yahoo charts to make my own decisions using momentum ta's. Great companion app for robinhood. It just helps even the playing field a little better for the small man. Be warned do you own charting to make your final decisions using a mix of ta's like rsi, ma and stochastic and get an idea of were the price falls between the support and resistance to get an idea of the current value of the purchase.
Disappointed! I paid for no ad and also for premium in the app as it seemed promising but then I found out that there were several problems : 1) you cannot create, use or add new watchlists in the app. Evem after creating them on the website, they disappeared in the app after one day, waste of time! 2)you cannot add new favourite lists in the app! 3) European shares do not appear in the search results even if you choose europe market. For example i never get a result for Cortus Energy AB but I d
I Like the software but seem to be unable to add moving averages to my charts using the online version. It says they are there but there are no lines. Support came back to me and sorted the problem! Fantastic!
Excellent app except on Android phones you can't sort the information. You are stuck with their default sorting which is alphabetical. Lol. So, for example, if you are looking for highest volume, you have to go up and down the list of hundreds of stocks to find what you want. Why not simply create an ascending/desending button on top of each column to enable users to sort the information any way they want? This is a big surprise. I'm a paid member and I dislike that very much.
