Once I realised there is a setting that lets you use it on Chrome, it worked brilliantly. I have now upgraded to the paid version.

Originally I thought it wasn't even working, but you have to look for the keyboard that says "English Scanner Keyboard." I wasn't expecting that.

It would be even better if there were two additional features: 1) an option to set a default action, e.g. Scan Barcode. 2) an option to add a character at the end of the scan, e.g. return or tab. These two features will speed things up when entering bar codes into an application. I hope you will consider them for a future release.

We're interested in buying multiple licenses but are having issues with the keyboard output not working on some devices when scanning NFC. On some devices, it works flawlessly; on others it will only output a random number of characters, or not at all if using the "all at once" behaviour. An okay app — but help with these issues would make it a great one.

Reading capabilities are inconsistent. For the same book (ISBN) it reads fast or doesn't read at all. I tested two related apps and they work consistently. Edit: Camera quality, illumination, contrast and book bar code quality were at very good conditions during my tests. But I didn't change engines. I'm sorry but I already chose another app. Hint: remove or second the engine that doesn't work in best conditions (indirect sunlight, very good barcode print).

Frequently have issues scanning barcodes. Sometimes the barcodes don't scan, sometimes they scan but it doesn't input text. I would say I get a successful scan ~10% of the time. It also requires an extra click now to get to the scanner as it asks *every time* if you want to scan a Barcode, NFC tag, or OCR. I like the options, but it would be nice to default to a single one and only switch if I need to.

I have no idea why anyone would rate this app any less than 4 stars, because it's AWESOME! I especially love the OCR. So cool!

I really like this application, but it would be even better if you could: * Auto-hide the soft keyboard by default (Because you don't need it on devices with a hard numeric keyboard, until the rare occasion you have to type text). Have an option to unhide it on pressing a parameterised hard keyboard shortcut.(eg. 1 or F1) * On reading an NFC tag, have a parametised option to not require 'Acceptance' of the tag. (ie. Automatically accept the first tag) If these two features were available, I could definitely sell this to multiple customers as a professional level solution

The keyboard scanner is easy to use and renders well. Tapping to select from multiple bars in the viewport is great. Issue with using keyboard in landscape on tablet. Keyboard takes up one half of the lower screen and cannot be resized. Also the caps lock button hold time is a bit long.

Boooo! I downloaded this so i could read NFC text tags into a search bar. Instead it gives me the MAC address of the NFC tag. Disabled that, using only text data and nothing shows up in search bar. Waste of time, im not paying for it.

Best direct to keyboard scanner... I just wish there was a windows 10 version for my tablets.

A good idea but doesn't always work. In a particular web app that I use, only the default Quicktext works. Anything other than the default results in no output at all. I have emailed support but have had no reply.

Scanning barcodes on the shopfloor. Great product. I did get a huge headache when the app would not read the barcode though. Solution was to Change the settings in Scanner Keyboard Preferences/Keyboard behavior/Default $input and check Key to Key and show as Hex codes.

Scans quite nicely, although the quality of the phones camera really determines how well it recognizes the bar codes. I also really love the feature of being able to tap on the bar code you want when there are multiple bar codes on the screen

App works really well. It would be nice if there was a setting for "enter" after scan. At the moment after i scan a barcode i have to click in the field then press enter to enter the barcode and continue. Otherwise great app.

There is a bug. When in portrait mode on my Galaxy S9 (phone held the tall way) with the number row enabled, the "?123" button fails to work, preventing me from entering punctuation unless i rotate the phone. If I have auto rotate turned off I have to disable the number row.

Hello there's a minor issue: when switching this keyboard from gboard, this keyboard switch name is %s. It's really great for anyone dealing with business. It's great for small businesses and customers to search. Free version is generous and good.

After the 5/sep update, the scanner get very slow, and often can not do it well. Its very fast for the previour version. ___ update 10/oct/2019___ changed the setting according the author's reply, the problem solved. thank you very much. great app.

This app super i am using morethen 4 years but i need now little support i update my samasung S7 tab after update i canot open clipboard from this keyboard plaz help how to fix it

Did not scan a barcode into text box. Scan to clipboard worked, but that added an extra step. Would consider using if that was fixed as the keyboard itself seemed nice.

Love the app - really helps me on the shop floor. Its probably a simple question, but how can i stop settings for the keyboard coming up every time i unlock my phone ? Im sure its an easy fix & im missing something simple, but as someone pretty tech savvy i just cant find an option for it anywhere.

Using it with a web app in chrome to input barcode data - so far works great. Only thing i miss from the regular screen keyboard are the cursor left/right keys.

App keeps camera open in the background and glitches several times before switching between alpha and symbols. I have used the paid version for several months now and like the scanner however the keyboard needs work.

Great app TEC IT ...but, why not a very nice and useful, floating scan button? I guess this feature would fit just perfectly on your app.
