Barcode Scanner / Reader & Generator (Ads Free)

It's great for a free app. Variety of different code type generator. I only had an issue where ALL the stuffs I created and scanned removed from history during a scan. Only image if barcode images remain in my picture folder. Sadly I don't know what any of them are for without the added comment. Suggestion - Add Title at top and barcode text at bottom when saving barcode image.

Very interesting the way the app can work with existing pictures pictures to identify the barcode, yet for me was very frustrating that I could use the camera only indirectly to read a code that was in front of me. Lucky there are many apps which are able to do just that, I'll install this one when I have archive pictures in which I need to identify a barcode.

Absolutely lovely, vary intuitive, vary simple to make or scan QR and Barcodes. It can also scan more than one qr code and barcode at the same time. I can even choose a picture to scan. I recommend this if you need a app to scan and generate barcodes and QR codes. Overall, vary good app.

Am I the only one who's noticed the glaring flaw that the images are saved with lossy (JPEG) compression? A vector format like SVG would be ideal (although most other software wouldn't know what to do with it) but I thought these days at least people would know how to use raster compression better.

Lighting quick reader, bunch of different formats, makes it easy to scan and replace labels. I scan the old label, paste the data to the generator part of the app, send it via email/text and print. Super quick, super easy!

The sheer thorough amount of information covered by this single app boggles the mind. I haven't figured out how I could store it all and shift so efficently between unrelated formats. Nor do I know when I'd ever require the multitude of features & options presented by the developers. Hey, but what do I know?

Nice UI looks neat and clean, able to batch scan, keep on history, lock feature for the paranoids. The Negative is Link can not be launched (its just simply launch the browser and do nothing, since its ads free i ll give 4* instead of 3

This app does what you would expect, but I stopped using it when the list stopped showing my notes :( I create almost exclusively one type of barcode and occasionally reuse them , so seeing the type instead with no option to change is dumb.

I generally use this to check on 2D barcodes that I print to verify the readability and accuracy. So far this app has been serving me without any issues. My needs are fairly basic and this app is free. A shout out to the developers. Thank you.

Great app but I'm unsure of why it needs BOTH permission to my camera as well as access to my photos and media to scan - it should only need access to my camera so it's a bit concerning. It also requires the use of Chrome to search which opens up another privacy concern.

There's a dark theme but no black theme. How about a black theme too? With black, the border line has more contrast and therefor clearer. Old review: Amazing app for barcodes but I hate the white theme. Please add dark and black themes for 5 stars.

It's a nice app. Could be better if exported images were PNG and one could also add text on them to show what they are

This app works fine, but the UI is hard to use, especially where you have to choose which type of code you want to create. Basically you have to know what you're doing, which is an example of bad UI.

Amazing app, does everything it advertises. You can easily decode, read and encode Qr codes. Also has a really great UI.

Used for many years now. Moved to new phone and trying to create certain QR codes (particularly contacts) fails every time.

It seems to scan quickly but will not search for products It only tries to force you to download Google Chrome. Does it only work with Chrome?

The app is actually great, but i rather pay then allow this app running with all the permissions in my phone. It is practicaly made to invade your system.

Definitely the best one amongst apps of barcode reader. Definitely not that 'thing' as well. This is a real review. *JS

very nice detection from already saved inage in sd card . i want to donate a little amount to you for your hard work. but no option in application to pay you.

All it does is just take a picture. I can't even copy the barcode. It doesn't even launch a search on Google.. Useless

Fantastic example of an app really building for Android, without weird permissions etc. Great app, does what it says it does.

Doesn't generate any qr but takes picture and inserts the URL. Stupid I think. Shouldn't it generate a qr code after I scanned it?
