I've only got 1 customer in 2 years being on this app, and it was after a year of being active on it (tbh I forgot I even still had the app downloaded until I got the notification for a walk.) Maybe its the area I live in and people just don't use this app here but I figured living in downtown Indianapolis, I'd get more traffic than that.
I really want to love it except everytime I open the app, I get a message that says the app keeps stopping. Also the push SMS test isn't working. And lastly, for the sheer convenience for the walker, a camera button on the walk page would be helpful. I use a Samsung Galaxy Note 9.
I tried to apply to become a dog walker and ever single time it came to me having to pick a profile picture the app crash no matter what picture I picked and then I had to start the application from the beginning only for it to crash again once I tried to select a different profile pic Overall a very frustrating experience
It took a year for the app to finally work for me and now i keep getting texts stating they need me to pick up walks they cant schedule or ill have a request and its like the app is stuck in limbo. It doesnt do anything. I can only edit my profile other than that i feel like the app is still in beta testing or something. Smh. So much potential and i noticed my other review from a year ago is gone when i rated 1 star then! Yall replied and blamed the rona and i said it wasnt working well before
Push notifications work as intended now, but the constant error/ crashing messages are still appearing despite this being an issue that happened with two different phones (and phone models).
Barkley pets have been awesome I never had any issues with my app everytime I called for help I was helped very quickly and efficiently. I recommended anyone who wants to be a walker and all the pet owners are so nice and I had nothing be great experiences with Barkley pets I cant wait to get back to work 😊
Requires you to pay a $10 fee to submit application. While it makes screening applicants easier, Rover is easier to start working for versus this.
In the day and age of convenience and efficiency, this app is up there for sure! Super easy interface to work with
Love using Barkly to grow my pet sitting services. The app makes communication easy between clients, especially for providing updates of how visits went. I also appreciate that Barkly doesn't take a cut of your pay compared to similar services. Thank you!
very easy to navigate through and use for the clients and the walkers. makes my job as a Walker easy peasy!
No one uses the app. Cant make money. And this was the case MONTHS before the pandemic. Since i cant respond to the companies message i had to edit my comment.

Keeps asking me really personal questions like what kind of phone do I use. You have no need to know these things about me. Uninstalling this creepy app.
Editing location takes some finessing - I had accidentally changed my location somehow and that changed my unique url to a city I don't live in. I contacted support who replied quickly and were very friendly but had said it couldn't be changed back at the moment. I tried nudging the location back to where it was and that seemed to reinstate my original url. :-)
