Barometer HD

- Please consider emailing us with problems, rather than posting them in reviews, we'll be able to fix them more quickly with direct feedback.
Barometer HD shows you the current barometric pressure in different units, including inHg, mmHg, hPa, atm, millibars. It also shows your altitude at STP.

This app only runs on devices with the barometric sensor, such as the Motorola Xoom and Galaxy Nexus.

Planned upcoming features include:

- Barometer Widget for the Android Desktop.
- More calibration options.
- Triggerable sound effects on major pressure changes (storm warning mode)...and more!

There are currently some issues with phone-sized screens being too small to read all of the pressure values.

I really do love focused apps that serve a single function well and without issue. This is one such.

it does exactly what I need, showing the pressure in different units.

This app is perfect for me to set all my barometers accurately.

It's ok, just missing now the possibility to set a wider scale for instance from 800 to 1100hpa so we can visualize in the graph the variations in a plane flight trip. It would be nice to export data from last 24 hours or so (in CSV format) to use it later on a computer.

Works fine : I compared the results with my house barometer and they are identical ! Would be nice though if colors could be chosen and also if there was a small widget. But I tried many other barometer apps and they are too complicated or else function badly. This is the best for me !

I would say this is one of the best apps, if not thee best app for reading Barometric Pressure. One great feature is that you can calibrate it if you're phone is not calibrated.

never had a barometer offer that before, works far better for me than mmHg, or other pressure measures

The one reason that this app stands out against the other apps is this one actually allows you to put in a compensation value to calibrate your sensor! Great job!

Accurate, bug free, ad free, no funky permissions. It just plain works - what more could ya ask for?

The font on the dial is MUCH too small. On the plus side ... there are no ads.

Ok so what's the point of having such an eye catching graphic of a barometer in your description and then your app shows nothing but a linear drawing of a barometer that looks like it's from the 70s? I mean really...did you think we're blind or that we wouldn't expect the graphics in your app to match the graphic in your app description??!!

But it really needs a widget to complete it

A. G. u. Feb 27, 2012

Can you create a widget that displays pressure in inHg? And has an option for update frequency?
