I get headaches, sometimes migraine, from rapid swings in barometric pressure. I use the pressure readings to help in the recognition and control of health issues.
I like this app and the way the information is presented. I was wondering though why the indicator would jump back to 100 every 15 seconds. It's almost like it's doing a reset, then it climbs (in this case) back up to where it was before the reset. Also, perhaps you would consider adding two more needles. A red one for the lowest and a green one for the highest readings based on the last 24 hour window with the app running in the background (providing of course that permission has been given)π
This is an excellent app and I know it's 100 percent accurate as it matches (precisely) my own indoor barometer. In some respects, it's better than a weather forecast because the fickle trends of climate-watching come neatly into focus well in advance of what's going to happen. And I can live with the ads. They're not in any way intrusive. This is a thoroughly good product...and, better still, it's free.
It's a smooth looking barometer, but it keeps popping noisy ads while I'm using other apps. When I close the ad, the barometer shows so I know it's the culprit. I close it but an ad pops again later. Would improve if the ads could be changed to a less intrusive format, maybe a small banner on bottom margin of the barometer screen when checking it instead of pop ups. Usually I have to test an app for a few weeks before establishing it as a keeper but those ads decided it for me.
The pictures make it look like you can choose between two different barometer face styles, but either you can't, or I couldn't figure it out. Tried the paid version hoping for that, and maybe other extras, but no, it only removed the ads. I refunded. Really, other than these annoyances, it's a nice app.
Very unprofessional!!! Played a loud speaker video ad within 2 mins of the app installation. Also took ages to show the report which I could not see. Would never recommend.
Setting for showing the trend displays for about ten seconds and then reverts to current conditions. No combination of settings resolves this annoying problem. Restarting the app also doesn't help. Otherwise it's a useful and fun app. I hope this is fixed in the near future.
Does nothing. Doesn't show current pressure. Won't update pressure reading. It just sits there, thinking for hours. Useless and uninstalled. EDIT: All permissions are granted and the device has full signal. Installed 2 other barometer apps and they both work. Problem is not with signal or permissions. EDIT: I'll simply use another app. Thank you.
Ads do not show outside app app preforms as I would like for being free app has extra features but locks them behind a paywall apps build is a little messy but works ok just has problems staying awake
i don't know if this app was some student's exercise or no but there are some (IMO) fundamental problems: 1) fonts color and background color are difficult to distinct. Its like reading dark gray text on a black background. 2) permanently whirling circle probably trying to get the temperature. I block access to such apps to internet. 3) Constantly popping up from background. Why? 4) I don't understand pressure in Pa. Are there other units to configure? Seems no. Anyway i deleted the app and found another one without ads that gives me what I want
I would rate this with a 5, but how to you set the indicator dial. I love the ability to take photos which place the weather data on your image. But why am I still seeing ads after I pay for the app? I've dropped my rating to a 3 because of this and the fact I'm now getting a pop up ad. I've downgraded my rating to 1 - I'm fed up with the Ads. Thinking of uninstalling the app.
I wish you would make it easier to set altitude, impossible to set accurate when sliding scale keeps moving. If that was fixed I would give it a 5 star rating. The ads are intrusive however can't complain about them that's why it's free.
It seems to be quite accurate. My phone does not have a pressure sensor. My home is at 1422 meters hight and I am used to compare it's reading to an old mechanical barometer that is also set to mean sea level and the results are quite good. Thanks! Grazie mille, Pietro! If I may, it would be great to also see a reading for the local pressure, i.e. not corrected to m.s.l.
it sit and spin... no data shows after 1/2 hour wait time to sync up.
The app looks for a hardware feature to improve performance I don't have. I have not been using the app long. I am measuring a correlation between barometric pressure, low pressure weather fronts and feelings of depression. This is a work in progress.
This app has worked for a long time to define air pressure and temperature on my smartphone. I've installed different barometer apps. This app is the fourth barometer app on my smartphone. All others app show me air pressure faster. All results are not very different.
I installed this app and my phone started displaying ads when I unlocked it. I have no problem with apps that monetize with in app advertising. However, when the ads intrude on my experience outside the app they get deleted with great prejudice. This one lasted about 2 hours before I deleted it.
I have this app on a tablet and a cell phone. The version on my tablet show pressure trends, but the same version 2.7 does not display trends. The switch is in the settings but is not highlighted and does not work!
First of all, the ads are at the bottom, not very intrusive! Second, once this app was setup (regular version), it ran wonderfully! Not bad for a free version of this kind! I do like how I can personalize it, too. Thanks! πΊπ‘π¦
I like it for being user friendly. Close to accurate and I keep 3 old ways barometers I can cross reference by. Proximity to my nearest station is 7 miles accounting for the slight difference. Can I manually select choice of weather station it reads off ? If so, I can't figure out how to so any tips welcome if that's possible.
Good so far. The "leave in sleep mode" is great for seeing the trend, and with temps, the dew point... when it is turned back on. No more waiting, and it is analog, digital. So, it makes for easy calculations. Thank You, Brother James.
Quite like it. Whose maps are they using? They are good but have inaccuacies. Anyway I would like to have the choice of a transparent background and text colours. I think it would look better.
Always had a Barometer in house & still do. When I compare the readings its always pretty close, when it rained I noticed the pressure was falling spent most the day outside. I noticed the pressure I decided to finish up & go inside. About 1/2 hour it rained. Great app. Thank You
Does not work on my Moto G5 phone probably because it does not have an air pressure sensor installed, which i found out after installation. Have not tested by connection to the internet, but if it does work with internet connection, & requires this, there does not seem much point to this app, as all weather information including air pressure, is readily available online! Disappointed as i installed this app hoping & expecting it to work offline. Very attractive dial. Seems a long file size? Rgds
Doesn't read, unless you enter and exit settings. But the real problem is that you cannot switch to different apps with out it switching straight back to the barometer app.
As an yacht skipper it does exactly what I want / need and fast, nice, Tjerk.
Too many ads appear making it hard to use.
The major fault in this app is that it Always says the barometric pressure is rising β¦ even when it is clearly falling! Some of the graphics are very good, but some are very hard to see clearly.
