This app has been a disappointment for some time. Between the crashes and then not being able to access content its mind numbing . How does barstool have such a terrible app
The blogs aren't showing. Just the Top Stories. Reinstalled, worked right for a bit, but back to terrible.
Full episodes of podcasts have just suddenly disappeared off the app.. have tried everything I can to get it back on and it doesn't work
App does not work any more. Can only see a few of the featured blogs and can't scroll down past them.
Articles are not even showing up in the app 90% of the time. Guess they no longer care about page views...
App hasn't been working for weeks. Can only see top 5 stories. Normally works great
Can only read half the articles most times. Truly frustrating
App looks slick but tons of loading issues. Articles either take forever to load or just do not load at all. Pictures dont seem to scale and are just full sized and unviewable. There are a lot of options for live videos, girls, and regional stuff that just never load. Good when it works but you're better off just checking the website.
The stories don't load on Pixel 2 XL. Reinstalled app, won't load anything other than the titles. Been this way for awhile and it's a shame because the website has great content. Please fix the Android app, I'm pretty sure it's a resizing / formatting issue that's causing the app to freeze from loading any content.
Barstool app for Android is TERRIBLE, I would've thought a company being ran by someone like Dave would have a stable platform across all platforms. Constant crashing, content not loading, pages not loading, even more crashes, unable to scroll without it crashing, and will reset page as I scroll leading me to have to scroll down all over again, super annoying.
The video needs to be better. As far as pausing/Rew/FF etc. and it being where u left off or where u want it. While watching videos or listening to podcast u should be able to have it in the background while working or doing things. Everything else is amazing
It would be great if it worked consistently. The only consistent is that at least once a week you won't be able to load the home page/stories (but conveniently can get podcasts and the store.....hmmmmmmm) for at least a 24 hour period
App has major issues for android. - Blogs disappear from feed after clicking on and backing out. Reappear after refresh. - Referenced media tweets within blogs show up as white space. - Crashes frequently when trying to view media tweets that do appear in blogs.
Downloaded just to delete. Their commercial makes me want to blind myself and stick a drill in my ears. It causes me secondhand embarassment that someone thought it was a good idea. Its annoying thst grown men act like fools for money...on TV. I go back everytime it shows up on HULU, so i can waste more time just to watch a different ad.
The images on this app are too big for the screen. Can only see 1/4 of the photos at a given time. And it takes three clicks to be able to watch a video. You hate to see it
The app isn't up to date and I feel like that's because I'm using an Android. Won't let me make comments, pictures don't load currently in blogs, and I can't subscribe or unsubscribe from different accounts. Really needs there to be an update.
Content is trash. Have to pay over $50 to see mediocre videos and unfunny articles that used to be free. 90% off the content is just reposted videos from Instagram / Twitter with some idiot's "take" below it. Additionally, the app doesn't really work. can't search, can't filter, videos don't load, etc. For anyone seriously interested in sports, try ESPN+ or the Ringer. For anyone looking for news on celebrities, just follow TMZ - it's the same exact content.
constant glitches.. its always loading.. pictures in the blog are over sized, you have to scroll over to see a picture and sometimes the swiping over causes it to go to the next blog.. bots fill the comment section.. most of the blogs arnt even sports
Doesn't work well. Very hard to find the articles you want. Login screen often does not log you in correctly, just stays on the login screen.
Images don't fit on screen. Terribly inneficient to try and scroll to see them. Ugh. Love the content but this app makes the whole experience very frustrating
If you love sports you'll love this app. The UI is great, it's easy to use, and you get all the new and best sports news, jokes, podcasts, pizza reviews. Literally everything you can imagine. A sports fans best ally.
Long periods of time when blogs don't load happen too frequently. When it does work, pictures don't fit. This app is frustrating for Samsung galaxy user.
App hardly ever works. Pages won't load, pictures don't show up, videos don't play or pages just buffer without ever loading. Unfortunate because I love barstool.
The page doesn't load beyond the top section with the top five articles, can't scroll down and read all of the articles from the past day or two
Constantly have ads that make the articles almost unreadable By that I mean you cant close them out and take up half the screen, or they follow your scroll. Videos and pic do not load majority of times.
