I like the game quite a bit but I have been playing for quite a while and a recent update erased my previous game. In addition, I had already paid for the ads to be removed and now they are back. I don't mind losing the progress as much as losing what I paid for. With another update the ground is now messed up. Even if you got the ball on a perfectly flat part it can bounce backwards.

one star because its full of ads, and i used to love this game because it was smooth to play before, now there's some imaginary wall everywhere makes the ball bounce back to start making no points and get to see bunch of ads again and again. Very poor game overall. uninstalling after struggling for past 2 hours.

Made this the perfect stoner game. Every time you hit an invisible wall (or an intentional invisible slope the devs hid), take a hit. You'll be up in space in no time, wondering how you got the perfect hit to knock you all the way to 52000 when you only needed to break 40000 which you were struggling to do hundreds of times before. Seriously, why can you hit an invisible wall going forwards as fast as possible and be knocked so far back, but keep going back when your ball is going snail pace?

It was good at first but the problem is everytime I Hit the ground when I tap my screen to bounce it sends me backwards when I didn't even hit anything because I'm to far to the side of the buildings and trees and cars rocks everything. The second is everytime I would tap my screen to bounce it wouldn't bounce so thought I'd let you know the problems here. Sorry if this is a little to much to fix.

Decent, but the map needs smoothed out. There's invisible walls that stop momentum and either launch the ball backwards or straight up. Used to be great, but now it's only kind of decent. Fix the map and it'll be great again.

Unbelievably buggy, if ball is rolling and hits a new "plain" or "grass patch" it'll bounce backwards as if it hit a wall When hitting perfect shots, it'll never go in the centre, always to the left or right slightly and not calibrated well as even if centre of marker is in the perfect spot, it won't count

i love the game and the idea, but there is one slight issue that I hate the game because of. It is the ball bouncing system. to often the when the ball bounces or I press down to bouce it goes in the complete oppisite direction. Other than that i have no complaints

Every time I get close to reaching the goal, the ball hits an imaginary obstacle and flies backward. Real close to uninstalling. Reinstalled and ball still hitting an invisible obstacles and flying backwards. Game deserves ZERO stars.

Terrible, theres an add between every level and whats worse, I subscribed for the paid version- which was supposed to be free for 3 days.. AND THEY CHARGED ME IMMEDIATELY, but I'm still seeing adds between every level.

Some odd mechanisms, such as when you hit a perfect ball you have a way better chance of it hitting something and flying backwards, but overall a fun game. However.... This game is great, but they are truly shameless in the amount of advertising they have shoved into it. Can't play more than a single turn without having to watch an ad, even more if you want to double up your coins or take one of their free upgrades. Not going to play again unless they make it more about the game and less about the money.

It's good to play in a waiting room or airport. Not too noisy and you aren't going to be cursing at the screen. That said, it's really not a crazy amount of fun. You quickly figure out that hitting the ball squarely at a 90 degree, straight on, "perfect" angle is not to your benefit. Hitting at 88 or 92 degree (2 degrees from center) is best. That way you miss the city blocks, buildings, and trees. Sound effects should include city traffic, birds, and their should be different sounds depending on which bat you use. The rubber chicken should squawk and the guitar should jam, etc. Diamonds, what you can purchase, are of nearly zero benefit. Kind of a waste from a business standpoint. I'd say it'll be in my apps for 1 or 2 months tops.

So. Many. F***ing. Ads. HOLY MOLY. After every shot there is a 30s ad you can't skip til at least 10s, then it opens another page you also have to close. It's disgraceful, all that matters to them is money. I'd rather pay for the game, or another option to disable the ads, even temporarily. Games fun, for the short amount of time you're actually able to play it. Not worth the un-ending frustration of a billion ads though.

Gameplay: Controls are simple enough. Play area is a bit too narrow. On later levels you hit the side walls way too much, and if you hit anything too far off center, the land is flat and boring.Tapping when the arrow is in the middle zone doesn't always result in a perfect hit. Option to buy gems is pointless as they are very easy to come by and they can only be spent on new characters that only serve an aesthetic purpose and add nothing to gameplay. Cash needs balancing. Higher level upgrades require too much grinding, and you eventually reach a point where you collect more cash from hitting coins in the air than you do for hitting the ball farther. For example, I could hit the ball right down the middle and have it travel 80,000m and earn roughly $300K after ad doubling, but I would also collect well over $1M just from the coins in the air giving me about $100K each. Graphics: Decent at first for a mobile game... until the camera gets too close to a building and you realize that the textures are blurry. When you level up high enough the playing field disappears while the ball is in the air. Ads: WAY TOO INTRUSIVE. There's always an ad at the bottom of the screen affecting the game's performance. After each hit, you're given the option to collect your winnings, or double them by watching a video. Normally this is OK, but if you choose not to double, you are still sometimes forced to watch one anyway. Overall: Decent time waster, but you'll spend more time watching ads than you will actually playing the game.

It get's boring after about level 25. The ball flies super high and spends a really long time in the air, and there is nothing to look at. The play field is nauseatingly repetitive and the narrow rows of buildings don't add to the gameplay. It simply is not fun in the higher levels. I went on to level 53 to see if there was a different mode to unlock, but to no avail. The different bats, players, and balls don't add anything to the game other than something different to look at for a split second. The animation for the characters is awkward and unnatural. The price for a subscription is laughable st $7.99 a week. There is no hope for replayability. It's a one and done game designed to pilfer money from the unfortunately addicted The challenges are mostly luck based, and the incentive to upgrade is completely lacking. The pixelated characters are a gimmick. Skip this one.

This game is really fun at first, but it quickly becomes clear that the developers didn't even think about late gameplay. As you level up and upgrade your hitpower etc. The game will eventually just break because you're hitting the ball so hard it flies right off the map. The map also never changes. It's the same pattern forever. City, grass, desert, water, repeat. Becomes really boring and pointless after level 50

So at first, loved the game and I still like it but.. Once you get past level 30 ish, there is no such thing as hitting it doesn't the middle The "jump" button isn't actually a button nor can your see it and it doesn't exactly work all the time anyways. The achievements are a little pointless because they either have you needing to hot straight down the middle which see my first issue or it involves something I've already accomplished and in no way shape or form could reachieve. Yes you can sometimes refresh a particular achievement but I've been staring at the same one for two days now and I'll never be able to get it off. Also all of this is on here because they're is no support or help for the game in game.

Too many ads! I don't mind watching an ad to double my points from a turn. But, you get a 15 to 30 second ad almost every single term regardless of whether you want to double your score. also when you come back from doubling your score, often you have to watch another video that's 20 to 30 seconds long before even taking another turn. I often shut down the app and restart it instead of waiting 20 to 30 seconds to watch a video before my next turn. This is a 4-star game without all the extra ads. Again I don't mind watching a twenty second ad to double my score, but doing that and then watching an ad before every turn is way too much.

Pros: Addictive Good pacing for level ups and unlockables, makes the game flow and gives a sense of accomplishment Not pay to win Cons: SOOO many ads. Worth the $2.50 to stop them, that's like one soda so whatever. Wish the city was spread out more instead of heavily concentrated in the center. If you get a perfect shot, it's not really perfect as you'll veer off to the side slightly, so really at higher levels, you spend 99% of the time bouncing on grass, sand, and water, which is frankly very boring to look at and provides no variety to the gameplay. The diamonds are only used to unlock new characters, seems like there should be more, but at least they're very generous about letting you collect them so I can't complain too hard. All in all, I'm just gonna say this game costs $2.50 because it's unplayable without removing ads. But it's a good amount of fun for that price I suppose.

OK, but too simple. It's a basic case of hitting the swing ometer in the sweet spot, like hitting a moving pendulum when it's vertical. It's a satisfying time waster, but there's no way of losing so it's just a matter of how long you can be bothered to keep slogging away. It would be made more interesting with latitude and altitude meters, a speed meter, a shot history to see how you've come along, and a way of reducing your power without losing it to remind you of how far you've come. Biggest fault is unpredictable lag on my HTC M9 ensuring you never can know exactly when to hit the button.

Awful. To simply put, awful. I am a gamer, it's basically my life, I've played countless phone/pc/console games, and this is one of the few games I've ever played that truly deters me. It is addictive, yes, their's no denying that, but the fact that it lags on a Samsung Galaxy S7, and has at least an ad every 5-15 seconds. I have spent about as much time playing it as I have watching ads on it, bad graphics and too many ads. I hate wasting time on games, and this was a waste.

Lil. W. Sep 13, 2018

I have two complaints about this game, one is the number of advertisements, it seams like you get to watch more ads than actually play the game. If the frequency wasn't bad enough you also get back to back ads! The other flaw is with the perfect hit, yes it has power and it looks cool, but you end up traveling backward do to buildings. I thought the idea behind the perfect hit was that the path would be clear and that is how you can hit the ball the furthest. Sadly not so. If those issues got fixed I would totally give this game a 5/5

This game is very good at killing time, there's lots of things to keep you interested at the start and it seems like there's an infinite amount of levels however, there seems like an infinite amount of levels and you're doing it for eternity. It lacks sufficient change after a while with the only challenge being to hit the ball further. The unlocks are purely aesthetic after a while, yes they help you hit further (marginally) but there's no other change than that. I would like to see a change of scenery or a hit so hard it can go through buildings because after a while, a truly 'perfect' hit is near impossible so forget smashing through an endless line of cars as you will rarely see them and instead just have your balls blocked by the river walls. Night time mode would be cool, hitting things in the air like planes, Santa's sleigh, blimps, ufo's or kites etc fog, or rain or anything to keep some variety. The different characters could make different noises or the bats even.. Maybe I shouldn't have paid for it, the adverts could have kept it interesting ...

Addictive but you spend a huge amount of time waiting for the ball to come to a rest (45 seconds by level 80) and watching ads, between every hit, compared to the 2 seconds it takes to hit the ball. Then you opt to watch more ads for free upgrades because they cost 26 million. It just gets really slow. I played past 120,000m and I don't think there's a bad lands.

Baseball Boy wreaks of a game that the developer never played beyond a few test runs. If they had, they would have seen some of the glaring, obvious flaws. The play field was designed so that unless you hit the ball directly up the center, you will hit buildings on either side but after only a few upgrades, you realize that the pixel you need to stop on for "directly center" does not exist. Your ball will ALWAYS fade slightly right or left. Because of that lack of true center, "perfect hits" are the worst thing that can happen to you, you will never travel up the center of the road again once you have leveled only a few times. New balls are hard to unlock because most of the challenges seem to revolve around hitting obstacles on the road, like benches or cars. You can only progress by aiming just right along the sides of the map, where they don't bother to have anything. Bad game, broken game, shameless cash grab.

Jay. H. Sep 28, 2018

99.9% of your time playing this is split between adds and a blue screen with a ball in the middle. The concept is good but the execution is SO poor. And then, annoyingly, 'free upgrades' only pop up when the ball is already in flight and then you can't claim them! I gave it a real good chance too, but I just can't get past those issues.
