BASEline Flight Computer

BASEline is designed for skydivers and BASE jumpers to improve wingsuit flight performance through data analysis and real-time audible feedback. With BASEline you can:
1) Record sensor data from your phone. When you click record, the app starts logging all GPS, altimeter and accelerometer data to a CSV file. You can export this file to be analyzed later. It is also possible to automatically sync these track files to https://base-line.ws/ using your google account. The data can be analyzed later to determine flight profiles.

2) Optimize your flight by speaking your speed and glide ratio. This feedback is helpful when learning to maximize wingsuit performance. Click the audible button to configure audible settings on your phone, including horizontal speed, total speed, and glide ratio.

3) Display your position, altitude and speed. On a map you can set a home location to assist with navigation, display you current trajectory and projected landing zone. BASEline also includes an analog-style altimeter, and real-time polar chart.

App is great when it works but it loses GPS lock whenever I switch apps and then switch back. App must be restarted. App also loses GPS lock for no apparent reason while it's active. I know this since I run another app that just checks speed and it shows a lock with 14 satellites while this app says signal is lost. I hope these issues can be fixed since this is an awesome idea.

Is there a way to download this app to an iPad or apple product? If not is there any plans for this in the future?

Version 2.2 puts the altimeter back, and now back to 5 stars! Thanks for the developer for continuing to improve this unique app, and for responding to user inputs. Adding an Altimeter bottom on home screen will be nice. (For previous version: All the info needed for skydiver during jumps. Just a simple digital altimeter may cost $300. This app is worthy. Please keep up the good work and provide updates. One thing needed is to save drop zones.)

I downloaded it the night before going to the DZ. It wont open the next morning right before the load call... I don't know what to do since they don't provide manual or some sort. I regret download it (and have to pay for it)

Pricey, but if developer keeps developing it, it will become great

Great app but needs more documentation. I cant get any of the audible events to work. Some instructions on the website would be great
