Only install right before you go fishing. The 5 free "sessions" are actually the first 5 times you open the app. I burned mine up without realizing during the winter months when I was curious about random days. aMy bass season doesn't even start until the third week of June! Otherwise, looks great and might be helpful. A "start session" button or option might be good for first time testers though to make sure they can make the most of the trial. Will update review later in the season.
I know that my catches don't necessarily reflect the accuracy of the ratings but so often I catch nothing in the higher rated days and then have good catches on lower rated days. The bass forecast seems to be inaccurate with regard to pre-spawn, spawn, post-spawn. I really like the Adapted Patterns portion of the app. and have found it particularly useful. I wish the Structure portion showed river fishing as well as lake. Overall, I think is the best fishing app. I have used and would recommend
I wished you could also include additional features like: 1. water clarity so that it could give you more options for lure selections 2. wind blown or protected area ( similar to the Deep Dive app) 3. I would also like if you could see somewhere all the other bass fishing techniques( eventhough they are not recommended as top 5). 4. Please include if we should focus on shallow water or deep water
Great app, would be five stars if it also had a river option for different cover features. There are no lakes for me to fish on where I live, but lots of river, so that feature is totally useless for me. Only complaint I have. Added a star for the fast response, customer service is most important.
Been working better since review below but last week I had 48hours of a blank app. I haven't noticed a difference in catching bass between fair and good rated days or times. Now, it won't even give me any information. Everything is just blank. I've looked to see if there were updates available. Not sure what is going on.
The day before opener acd this thing won't let me log in. Reset password, no go. Uninstalled and reinstalled, no go. Can't find any support either. Was interesting while it worked. ETA: Fixed! Love it so far. Can't wait to see how accurate it is.
Update- Still says i have an issue with my account. Ok so i just downloaded this app cuz im new to bass fishing. And it's been two days with no problems... I logged in this morning to check the rating and everything was working fine, until i try to login again just now and it's telling me theres an issue with my account and to please re-login, i've re-logged in maybe 3-4 times and it keeps saying the same thing. What the heck
I haven't seen everything yet, but what I have seen is awesome. Well, I'm locked out after paying for a year for the app. It tells me to sign in.. It says my email is already taken, yes, by me. I've tried everything, I can open the app. I would like a full refund if I can't get in. I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO SIGN IN TO MY PAID APP EVERYTIME I WANT TO OPEN IT.
Probably the best fishing app I've used. It's easy to understand and gives you a lot of useful information. The only thing I wish they would add is some way of telling the barometric pressure. If they did that I could delete my other app and just use this one. Other than that I highly recommend it!
It could be more accurate. We buy the bait it says, we fish the times and the spots and nothing. Yesterday was a 9 Epic day, it wasn't. It was a beautiful day yesterday, but very disappointed not catching anything. I feel like the app is more of a bait selling app. I gave it 3 stars only cause the app gives me a sense of hope, but really I should only give it a 1 for the false sense of hope.
Love this app, seriously. I tried the free 10 day trial and I enjoyed it very much. After I ended that, I was limited to one day's forecast and couldn't see any of the projected good baits and lake positions for bass. Basically all you can see is if today is going to be a good day for fishing or not. Buy the pro, seriously it's only $10 a year! Worth every penny in my books. Not much in the way of ads either which I quite like and I'm on this several times a day fishing almost daily 🤙🏻
Love it. Only thing... Wish it had colors to use. I am fairly confident in my color choosing, but for someone who is not it would be nice. Other than that great. The spend 10 get 10 is awesome. And it's not just for the first time you sign up either. Every year you buy you get a card.
They fixed the ossue and it wirks great again. thanks. Today BF didn't recognize my account and said there was a problem. it said it didn't have my email on file but when I went to dign in it said my email was already in use. I've been poking around trying to fix this for an hour now.
I would have put 5 stars was a fantastic app (also bought the subscription) but out of nowhere it kicked me out and said there was an issue with my account please log back in. Ive done this multiple times and nothing it will not log me back in. I've changed it back to a 5 star rating everything is working great again thank you
Cany use my cashapp to go premium due to google pay not verifying my card because i accidentally put another email address that i have instead of the one associated with my card and cant editnit anyway. i was able to create an account with correct email address but the other one still comes up when i try to buy the premium service and there is no way to change it or verify my card with this email address UPDATE: ISSUE RESOLVED APP IS GREAT! 5 STARZ
This app. I mean what are you really paying for. You can Google good baits for the time of year. There are free apps that will show you moon phases. The rating? the rating bugs me the most. There are times when I see tomorrow will be a highly rated day so I pack up all my stuff get ready and get to bed early just for the rating to change. The ratings change often and at the drop of a dime. Money from this app would be better spent in bait. Read up,learn and watch fishing videos instead.
Kinda flaky on when to fish dates. In 48 hours the app changed the starred(best) day 3 times for the same towns forecast. Also towns right next to each other will have rating 2-3 points apart?? I paid $10 for the premium version but I'm starting to think this was a life lesson...
I love this app I've had it since the beginning and look at it daily planning my next trip. Lots of good info that's a great start for a plan. Sometimes it's off but that comes from weather changes and other things of that nature. 10 dollars a year is a great deal for as much as i use it. If you try to fish weekly to even monthly like me you will love this app.
If your new to fishing or just trying to learn new tips this app is perfect for you. The app constantly updates your local weather and gives a rating based on patterns that match your conditions as well as the best time of the day to catch em! On top of all that they even tell you the type of lures that tend to work with the conditions, and how to properly work the bait and gear that suits the lure! Heck they even what speed to work the lure. I mean it doesn't get any better than that!
Installed and all seemed fine. Next morning and nothing. Just sits there blinking attempting to load. Restarted phone and nope. Wasted storage space and data to install. Utter garbage. Do not recommend as serves no purpose for me.
The app has good information for the most part. Sometimes it's a little off though. This past weekend the rating was an epic day at 8.6 but the wind was blowing so hard I couldn't cast.

Really cool app until they slowly lock features behind a paywall. The problem is once they do that all you're left with is a solunar clock that you can just get as a widget elsewhere.
This app is for that hopeless someone disparate to catch fish. Someone who is tired of getting skunked. It's not the magic wand that'll make you a pro. Watch a few videos on technique and bait selection. Then go spend time on the water.
I just paid for the premium account and now I can't log in, can't contact the support and can't even use the app as guest. It was working fine before, so I'm assuming there's a serious bug and since I can't contact support hopefully they see this review
5/13/22: App is not working at the moment, and I can't find an area on the app to report an error :( App keeps telling me there's an issue with my account; I've managed to resolve this in the past by making a new account, but this workaround no longer solves the problem. Any help would be appreciated! This app is a game changer for beginning anglers! I'm running out of characters, but combining this with YouTube/Google can turn you from a blank slate to a mediocre bass angler in <1 year. 🤙
